what is wrong with the officiating? Was it the ref that stopped Algeria from registering a single shot on target? Was it the ref that made ball possession to be overwhelmingly dominated by Nigeria? while I agree with you that it requires more effort to earn $1000 than to ear 1000 naira, but I would to point out that it is relatively easier to earn a thousand dollars than it is to earn 1.5ish million.a Starbuck worker or burger king worker earns between 12 to 15 dollars an hour. That give about 70 to 75 dos per day ( on a 5 hour workday), so in 20 days people can ear about $1500 just flipping burger (one of the lowest jobs in the USA) but here in Nigeria there are top civil servants and middle management workers who don't earn 1 million naira in 3 months.

It was just an extent of explaining the concept of dissolubility of bitumen when some chemical substances are added to it.
The main example I was setting was the soap and the block wall to prove a point that soap can wear away block,cement or tarred surfaces if they are exposed to it for a long time.

soap also wear away fabric, it doesn't stop us from washing with it.

2.Do you care to find out from our chemical engineers or Civil engineers what would be the effects of applying chemical substances in form of detergent and other cleaning agents on DAILY BASIS over a long period of time on our alphated roads?

because from my knowledge of elementary chemistry,if you put chemical like kerosene in solidified bitumen (coldtar),after some minutes,it will melt it and turn it into liquid form.Also,if you wash clothes with detergent and constantly poured the water on a cement wall or say block fence,the wall will wear away and subsequently falls if the action is continuous.
The two experiments is what I have carried out myself and confirmed to be true.
So,here in Nigeria, about 95% of our roads are tarred with the bitumen.And I think applying soap/detergent/chemical cleaning agents on our roads like what I am seeing in that video will drastically reduce the durability of our roads.

Secondly,what's the population of Kigali as compared to any state capital city in Nigeria?
If it takes let's say 3 hours to wash one major road in Nigeria city,then do you know the hours it will take washing just 5--10 roads?
Then talk about the traffic situation in those hours.If you calculate everything,do you know how many economic productive hours we will lost to the road washing exercise everyday?
Do you know in few months,it can crumble our already shaking economy totally?
So,I don't see any wisdom there.
The best way of cleaning the intra-city roads still remain sweeping it daily as most of the Nigeria cities are doing.
For instance,some years ago,when I was living in Calabar expecially during Governor Donald Duke time.Workers were employed to sweep the major roads on daily basis.
Trees/ornamental flowers were planted everywhere by the road side and well trimmed to promote the aesthetics of the Calabar city.
Who born you to stay in the moving township buses and drop even banana peels on the road that time?
What the taskforce will do to you eh,the next person will see it and put his own peels inside his trouser pocket.
The subsequent governors came and abandoned the clean and green policy of Duke till I left Calabar and the city turned eyesore.
Another good e.g of cleaning a city through sweeping rather than washing is Uyo in AKS.
I have been there during Akpabio,Udom and even this Eno's time.All of them share something in common and that is cleanliness of the city.
They may fail in some other aspect of governance but you see the sanitary aspect, you can't fail.
Through out last year I have been traveling there to watch the super eagle qualifying matches,I can testify that the state is doing well in that aspect.
A special agency known as Aks Waste Management and Environmental Protection Agency was since created to take care of that.
As early as 5am , you will see the workers of that agency sweeping every major roads in that Uyo while others go about with their waste management truck to evacuate every dustbin stationed at some strategic places on the major roads.
And I want to believe that few or some states are doing so too.
In summary, don't abuse Nigeria simply because we are not embarking on road washing like Kigali.We have our own ways of keeping our cities clean also.
It is not everything we see some where we should copy.We can criticize our government for not doing some other basics things like I used to criticize also but it shouldn't be road washing.

that does not stop people from responding passionately to their favoured team. How come it does not affect ucl, because I know what some boys did in my area during the last ucl final. Before the match even you could see the anticipation and feverish expectation with which some youths were waiting for the match
Anyway this may not be the case in every zone though, just my observation from my own area.
