Using 6TWh to generate 8TWH is just about 20% efficiency and I'm sure you'll agree with me that a country like Nigeria that's grasping with power supply can't see that as a viable solution. Battery storage are more efficient in my view. If you disagree, I won't mind if you educate me further

Yes battery storage is more efficient. The efficiency of a pumped hydro system is generally 75-85% but it cheaper and lasts longer than battery storage at the grid level. Also pumped hydro is only useful at the level of the grid, not for individual or small scale storage.
