You know how much is paid to publish in high ranking journals? Attend conferences home and abroad? Tetfund is trying with research grants but nothing close to what is needed. So many students in poorly lit, poorly ventilated lecture rooms...After going through all the wahala of PhD, is it too much to demand that one is paid close to what a ward councillor earns?

You see, the final output of Universitiy is a product function of neglected teachers in both Primary and a secondary school. Nothing will happen to the quality of graduates in the country until Justice across the educational sector from Primary school, secondary school, ASUP, colleges,,, the demands of ASU remains unjustifiable

You guys will never speak for Teachers in both Primary and Secondary school but for selfish ASU that add very little to education sector. Untill our government treat the teachers very well, the demands of the ASU will remain unjustifiable

Over 80% of ASU demands are personal. Majority of these lecturers add little or no value to education sector and their earnings is far above their inputs
