I am a bit of a regular here... but had to create an alt account for anonymity sake.

Like the title of my thread says, i've been suffering from this situation for years now and it's totally reducing my social life to shambles. ANd you may want to ask what I have done about this. I have done alot. I have been to quite a number of dentists. Some say it's a case of scaling and polishing, a procedure I allow them to carry on with, to no avail.

I have tried various mouth washes, various mixtures, various gums and I am getting fed up. I am having difficulties relating well with people outside because I want to always close my mouth. People are beginning to tag me a snub and proud person.

Please, that's why I have turned to you my e-pals. Do you know any powerful solution that has worked for someone you knew with chronic bad breath before? My name is Lydia Lawal, I studied Economics at Federal University lokoja.
After 4 years of blood and sweat my university handed me an expulsion letter unjustly. Please I want all well meaning Nigerians to help share my story till we get justice.
I gained admission to Federal University lokoja in 2013, I had to work in Lagos during the long vacations to pay my school fees. And from my first semester to 400 level first semester I was on second class upper with a 4 point cgpa. The issue that led to the expulsion of 13 students in my class started during my final exams when there was an alleged examination leakage where some students were said to have bought questions from a driver. I happened to be the departmental president at the time of the crises and I was called by my head of department to answer some questions concerning the issue which I knew nothing about (prior to my exams I lost my kid brother which made me lose interest in social gatherings, I kept to myself through out the exams). All this happened last year we called back in October to rewrite all our papers under 4 days with less than a week's notice. The university management refused to release the result of the new exam, refused to convok my department with others and didn't mobilize us for NYSC. I was shocked that after almost 9months the university management called 13 of us which includes the best student in my class with a cgpa of 4.9 to come and pick up an expulsion letter, and our names pasted all over the school as expelled students. The Vice chancellor claims that as long as you were invited to the exam malpractice committee, then it's enough reason to believe one is involved.Please I am asking for an human right activist to take up our case. My mother is a poor widow that cannot afford the services of a lawyer.
Please don't let this injustice be swept under carpet , we believe they are playing politics with our lives.

From the Vice Chancellor's statement it is doubting that the lecturer would be punished and a likelihood of the lady involved in this case would instead be punished. In my country you have to be careful when dealing with authority without a strong back up.

A woman is currently in pains after she was allegedly battered by her husband and almost killed in the process. According to reports, the husband drove her away after beating her as she ended up in hospital in Asaba, Delta state capital. The man was said to have taken his wife to swear an oath that any man that has sex with her will die while doing it.

Human rights activist, Emeka Ugwuonye, shared the woman's sad story online. Read below;

Below is the report of a representative after visiting the victim:

"(1) I met with the lady today. In fact, she was badly battered by her husband and has been driven away from her matrimonial home, and her children were taken away from her.

"(3) The husbands sisters has taken over her home and her children are so emaciated due to lack of proper care and feeding.

"(4) She just registered one week ago, and she claimed that she doesn't want to leave her husband, that she still wants to be married to him (I felt bad hearing this from her).

"(5) She said she bought lots of properties with her husband and the man has been selling them without given her a dime for over 2 years now.

Later she wrote as follows: "Sir, please am pleading with you to come to aid.My husband has been threatening me after your Facebook post saying he will bribe his way through the police and human right commission even if he kills me nothing will happen.I am scared for my life and am in hiding.Sir,please help me fight this injustice."
