Even believers in Jesus, if they have sin in their hearts, can be possessed by demons. These people are capable of performing miracles through the workings of the devil.

Satan leads people to receive the laying on of hands from his servants in order to facilitate their possession by demons and build his kingdom throughout the world. Nowadays, the churches of the Pentecostal Charismatic Movement are officially recognized as formal Christian denominations throughout the world.
