thesoj: I decided to not accept PMs anymore actually. But if you are very patient and can wait at least three weeks for me to patiently review the SOP, then send me a PM. It takes a lot of time to review and make recommendations to an SOP (unless it is relatively good already), and I am time-constrained. Also, if the SOP has simple grammatical errors and is especially bad or blatantly plagiarized I may not respond, no offense intended. would love to,i just have extra one month to reapply again, since i applied for may session,so is it still possible? |

hayqinsbFX: @estherdim and @broxymall i believed is controlled by one person.

thesoj: @estherdim, please take down your SOP asap. Someone else will copy it and use it for his/her app before you even use it. Plagiarism is very rampant on Nairaland. You don't want the VO to refuse your application because he/she thinks you plagiarized someone else's whereas it was someone else that plagiarized yours. I have seen many plagiarized SOPs emailed to me to help review.
Edited: I am now unsure if the SOP you posted is yours or not (it looks familiar). If it isn't yours, then write your own from scratch . This process may take time (days to weeks), but it is well worth it. Think deeply about why you want to go to Canada (apart from the fact that you want to run away from Naija lol), what your Naija ambitions are (i.e. what are the sort of Naija problems/opportunities that you have identified and want to solve/harness), why & how studying your course in Canada would help accelerate your ability to achieve those Naija ambitions. Give examples of what specific skills from the course would develop you enough to be able to effectively pursue and implement your ambitions. Try as much as possible to show the VO that you are a serious person. Link what you have done in the past with those ambitions and future goals. Be credible and convincing, tying together parts of your life/educational trajectory (and application) to make a coherent whole. Be concise. Best wishes. thanks alot brother,i have done that. can you send me your mail so i can forward my sop for review? i would appreciate it |

ikem01: Oh yeah, just change the masters prog to undergrad, Make sure u explain vividly y u want to study in Canada, even if the course is offered in Nigeria, state an advantage studying it over there will add to ur portfolio.. Dont start saying it will improve ur employment status wen u return. Maybe something like the curriculum is different, the course in CAD has added this and that which is not part of the curriculum here in naija. OK ermm, 1. I feel like it's an SOP FOR ADMISSION, Nonetheless, elaborate on the point I stated, also use the SOP as a way to let the VO KNOW OF UR HOME Ties here in Nigeria. 2. Don't over degrade ur country I think it sounds desperate. Hope this helps. I stand to be corrected thanks alot bro,can you send me your mail so i can send to you once i am done reconstructing it? by the way can you elaborate more on this home ties of a thing? |

DanIndia: No, not really. You do NOT need to learn the language before you can be granted but you do need to know the language to cope in Germany. You do not need to be thoroughly fluent, you just need enough to get you by. that what am still saying bro,as it one of their requirement,6month to study the lang here and first year degree, |

Bandeco: Guy enta Germany. Easier admission. Easier to obtain visa. Free tuition. Engineering hub of the world. More technologically advance than Canada and more engineering savvy than Canada. Great engineering schools. More robust economy than Canada. Biggest economy in the Europe . You can also transition to work permit after studies. Better wages than Canada etc But considering their language and durationof processing visa inko? I heard i will have to learn their language before i can be granted |

princey83: I know how you feel. Canada visa has always been like that right from when I completed secondary school about 17 years ago. It has never been easy. During the 90's. they sometimes don't even bother to open your pack before denying an application. You said this is the 4th denial. Why don't you try a different country? in my own case, I eventually studied at a different EU country, I now used my MSc to apply for their federal skilled workers program as it was called back then, and was successful. If God says you would eventually be in Canada, you would still get there one way or the other even if it's not by the popular way. Do not narrow your studying abroad option to Canada. You could try other countries too. It is well. thank you sir, already planing to port to another country, still waiting for a more convenient country to fit in for my course, that won't pay much compared to canada, will appreciate if you know of any, mechanical eng is my preferred course though. |

elephantswimmin: @estherdim & Dbnagato Please share a list of all the docs submitted. Estherdim pls stay away from that Canada Embassy for now You maybe surprised that you'll try another country and be granted a study visa in an instant. Like i said before these Canada people are not consistent with their decisions., no one can really predict what they want. Its like a lottery!!!!!!!!! Before some soj dude/female begin quote plenty grammer on the previous page describing his siblings with vulgar words because i aired my opinion based on facts and testimonials that i have heard ppl say. Wish you all the best and keep your study dream alive. Maybe God wants you in Aussie or America. I'm studying in Baltimore though... inbox me if u need help with my school. i never intended,it just so annoying staying home for 2 years doing nothing,am self employed, my pman just insist i travel there ,i knowing the fact that is just like a gambling, really so tired |
