As a defender you do not let ur man stay more than an arms length away from you in the eighteen especially when defending crosses. Later in in the game he @Awaziem, got jittery began to dive in lost his positional sense and almost gave away a penalty. TheGoodJoe can never see this. To him Awaziem is the next Ramos nd can do no wrong. Revealed – The Amount West Ham Are Proposing To Man CIty As Buy-Back Fee For Iheanacho

Kelechi Iheanacho proposed move to West Ham is very much alive with talks still ongoing on the issue of buy back fee, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Already West Ham have agreed to pay Manchester City 24 million pounds as transfer fee, but City wants a buy back clause with a set price after couple of years. An agreement is yet to be reached on that.

Former Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote has died at the age of 30 after collapsing during a training session in China.
Tiote, who only moved to Chinese second division outfit Beijing Enterprises four months ago, was rushed to hospital on Monday evening at 6pm local time.
However, the Ivorian passed away at around 7pm, and his agent confirmed the Ivorian's death in a statement.

The Ivory Coast midfielder, who made more than 150 appearances for the Magpies between 2010 and 2017, was training with his current club, Bejiing Enterprises, on Monday when he collapsed.
He was taken to hospital but sadly passed away. Cheick cemented his place in Newcastle folklore with his dramatic equaliser in the 4-4 draw against Arsenal in February 2011.
'In the all the time that I have known him, he was a true professional, dedicated and above all, a great man.
'Our hearts go out to his family and friends at such a sad time.'
Demba Ba, with whom Tiote played during his six-and-a-half-year stay at St James' Park, paid tribute to his former team-mate on Twitter.

On the Osihmen debate! Here is my take. Please before you criticize Rohr's decision put yourself in his shoes. This is what I feel he is doing. He is building the team for the now with an eye on the future. Osihmen is our 3rd choice striker now n my guess is that slot is reserved for our best youth team striker. Awoniyi and orji will come to mind but osihmen is at a higher playing level than both coupled with the fact that he is the poster boy of the nff thus he will always get the call up to train with the team. That is what he is there for..for drills..it is a no brainer. You can't call up an ideye or ighalo or a newbie to sit as 3rd choice striker in a lone striker system when you are still running the rule over a top potential like osihmen. Same idea goes for alampasu and awaziem. They are been eased into d nt environment gently. So please do not expect them to start yet. I just love this Rohr.
For the ajagun matter I got no comments abeg. That one na mumu debate. You want to call up an old man to replace who? Who is he better than? Keshi 2014 all over again abi? I have modified my answer but to answer your questions Awaziem on the strength of his club and training is in my opinion better than Omeruo (if I recall even this season he scored own goals twice) far as trust is concerned I'd say yes for Rohr to trust Omeruo more despite the fact he switches off. For the game plan, it depends on what the game plan is and I am not privy to it(all of us na speculate we dey speculate)

Never forget that Oboabana and Omeruo were rookie defenders at our Afcon 2013 and they manned the defence admirably well to the extent we won the tournament but where is Oboabana today and is Omeruo at the same level he was at then? Someone is coming right behind him.

Good questions. The questions can only be answered based on a TEST. Training Camp is the test because even if you have your players doing wonders at club level, I know even you would be opposed to a player walking into a match day squad without being assessed in camp. Granted Omeruo was not part of the recent training camp in France so one cannot gauge as between two of them who outperformed the other but Omeruo has this knack for making mistakes(the same south Africans skinned him and recently you saw the mistake he made in Zambia. If it were Balogun nobody would clamour for Awaziem. The fact that we are even having this debate shows how much he's fallen down the pecking order. Awaziem had good a good showing both in camp and the matches played. Omeruo can start but our hearts will be in our mouths but I'd prefer Awaziem. Let him start gathering the experience now.

The question I ask myself when I read this he- is not - yet- experienced -argument is: how does one get experience? Experience for me comes from watching others do it, training to do it and then doing it and a lot depends on the quality of the player. I remember how skinny Eto(he was still in his teens) was when he was destroying teams at Afcon 2000 and capped it by punishing us in the final.

Experience is good, very good and I want experienced players at key positions in the team but let those who have the quality be given opportunity to garner the golden fleece of experience.

whether you are a young player or experienced you only take to the pitch if you are better than the guy you are benching nd/or if the coach trusts you to deliver with regards to tactics and game plan..this is what nacho currently lacks at city ..he is not better than those ahead of him nd doesnt fit in tactically with pep hence no trust..now my question is..is awaziem better than omeruo? Does the coach trust him more than omeruo? Can he deliver tactically nd implement the game plan better than omeruo against sa? If 2 out of those 3 questions gives a yes then he will start else he won't..

Awaziem played a full season with Porto the season before last. He is used to big stadiums. The only reason, he played more for Porto B this year was the injury crisis in defense faced by Porto B. He will be fine if drafted to play.
