Ebuehi or Awaziem will be fine.

Awaziem first game for Porto was against Benfica, one of the biggest games of the season and he had a Motm performance. He will be fine if started.

Ebuehi has played regularly this year in big stadiums. He will also be fine.

Once they get passed the early jitters, they will be OK.
For young players except you are a ronaldo or messi they don't get thrown into d fray just like that..defending is not all about talent, one has got to have that tactical understanding of the game to control the midfielders in front you and it comes with experience of not only playing but been with the team and *drills*...TheGoodJoe..permit me...remember the europa league final..experience trumped youth. The first goal pogba scored an experienced team wouldn't concede such space for him to get a free shot..Rohr may play them but I do know it is not a wise decision to start em..if they make mistakes then their nt team careers must have gotten to a bad. If nd when they have stayed with the team for sometime and you clamour for a start I may agree..
BTW do u really expect to start ebuehi n awaziem against cameroon for example..smiles....Sir Icons4s...Thanks ..for the mention

And for those thinking omeruo will play right back..I can only but smile...please look at the list again we got only 3 central defenders there..shehu has d rb spot on lock down..ebuehi as back up..only d goalkeeper spot m not sure off but I guess we have
Akpeyi
Shehu ekong omeruo echeijile
Ndidi onazi
Etebo
Musa iheanacho iwobi
That is d team I feel rohr will play against sa..barring any last hiccups

TheGoodJoe:
Gernot Rohr deserves full praise for his intuition and vision he showed when it came to identifying future talents of the Super Eagles.

A clear example is Awaziem who Rohr invited earlier, had a look in and was tipped as a promising key player of the side. In recent games, the young man showed exceptional quality. Both in training and during games.

At this time, it is riskier banking on Omeruo in the name of experience instead of quality shown in training and recent games.

If Rohr gives Awaziem the nod, he has my full blessings. As the days goes by, I get impressed by the vision of the Super Eagles team manager.

I hope Alampasu keeps giving 100% in training. He might never know when the German tactician will give him a nod.
Sorry for quoting you! But you really gonna play a 19 year old in front of wat..like 40000 screaming fans in a crucial qualifier with only just one international cap n still learning the rudiments of the game over one with experience from youth sides to national team n lots of cap in club football? Not for me..lolz...except he is a nesta or maldini or ramos..or is he? We are not rohr tho..so we have to wait nd see

Yobo I know, but I do not get your reasoning please explain.

doing a yobo with regards to errors..was just been sarcastic
You don't learn your trade in SE you do that in your club.
this is why omeruo will start..awaziem na still learner..he liver never strong reach..he has everything to be a great defender..of course you don't get a run of games at porto by been mediocre! Most of us seem to ignore the fact that he started the friendlies cos omeruo was not available due to club commitments and reported late to camp.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by eterisan(m): 1:07am On Jun 03, 2017
Greetings to everyone in the house! Here is my take on the omeruo/awaziem debate. I believe omeruo will start against SA but I won't be surprised if awaziem gets d nod. **Omeruo is doing a yobo..*winks* if you know what I mean** Reasons been, this is the national team not porto team B and awaziem is fairly young for a defender to be thrown into the deep end just like that..remember at porto when he broke in? Had to drop back to team B.
IMO when awaziem begins to play regular football for a top team he will become third choice eagle defender behind ekong nd balogun for now he is fourth choice and still learning the trade.
CareerRe: Salary Structure Of Nigerian Lecturers: Annual Salary Of Nigerian Lecturers by eterisan(m): 12:01pm On May 21, 2017
faceURfront:
A lot of misinformation, half truths, and outright falsehood being spread here. Let me see if I can help.

1. A lecturers salary is made up of 2 components: basic + consolidated allowance. For clarity, these components remains fixed for a particular rank.

2. Most of the figures being quoted up there are the gross not net(take home). Tax, pension contribution and ASUU dues are usually deducted.

3. Take home of Graduate Assistant(step 1): 97k. 3k is added annually as you move up the steps every year provided you remain on same rank.

4. Take home of Assistant lecturer (step1) is about 113k.

5. Take home of lecturer 2 (step 1) is about 129k.

6. Grad assistant requires a BSc, Assistant Lecturer an MSc, Lecturer 2 a PhD. But u can get Lecturer 2 with an Msc + registration with the professional body of your discipline.

7. It takes a grad assistant longer to get a phd than a medical student to become a doctor, yet a resident doctor's take home is way beyond 129k a PhD holder will take home as a lecturer. A medical consultant's take home is way above the about 500k a professor takes home even though it takes longer to become a prof, than a consultant.

8. It takes an Msc to be come an assistant lecturer from d rank of a grad assistant. 3yrs from assistant lecturer to lecturer 2. 3years from lecturer 2 to lecturer 1. 3years + PhD from lecturer 1 to senior lecturer. 3 years from senior lecturer to reader. 3 years from reader to prof. Now, for each of those three years in rank before u move, you are expected to have published a minimum of 2 research papers in a peer reviewed journal of international repute. And a host of other requirements like teaching experience, project supervisory experience, administrative duties etc.

9. Of course there are wayward and undisciplined lecturers but anyone who thinks lecturing is soft work has no idea what he/she is talking about.

Pardon any typhos please. Thanks.
I want to say a very big thank you to you for this info. As a prospective graduate assistant this your comment is like a holy grail. Thank you again. Don't ask me the prospective part o...lolz.

Like you don't know Pep..... he can name him in his matchday squad and still not use him... haven't we seen thus before a couple of times this season already??

Abeg... Nacho needs game time not more bench time or just drills time.....
I will keep my fingers crossed. All I know is he is too valuable to mancity for him to be sold! Gabriel Jesus can be moved to the wings, navas sold, nolito sold but not nacho. Patrick Roberts will be brought back. Do you honestly think aguero will agree to sit on the bench next season for gabriel Jesus?

English Football League clubs will have to name at least one "club-developed" player in their matchday squads from the start of the 2018-19 season.
A club-developed player is defined as one who has been registered to the club for at least a year before the end of his under-19 season.
The new rules were agreed following a meeting of all 72 EFL clubs.
"I am confident that this decision will have a positive and lasting impact," said EFL chief executive Shaun Harvey.
"It is imperative that we provide young players not only with a platform, but also with the belief that opportunities will be made available to progress from youth to senior football."
Teams have previously had to include six home-grown players, defined as those registered with a club in England or Wales for three seasons, or 36 months, before their 21st birthday.

for loan move...
EPL-Southampton, Bournemouth or Westham.

SERIE A-A.C Milan

BUNDESLIGA-Dortmund.

For a Permanent move...
I'll suggest any of the Merseyside team.
Forget Dortmund they have a stock pile of young strikers... Ísák....anyone.....iheanacho will do a lukaku.... Westham looks good. Let us wait and see. But in case you haven't noticed mancity rarely loan players to epl clubs... I still hold the opinion that he will stay. Come August/September we will find out.

Sir Eterisan you de funny o. Na so u de use d replay console yourself...

D guy needs to move on to where his talent will be appreciated.
As crazy as this sounds Sir AIG07 I have a feeling he will stay next season though I want him to play more. Navas will leave that is certain. He is the face of man city's academy. The first to break through, make a name for himself and hold a place for a while. Just watch this space. He will play against Huddersfield in the fa cup. Sometimes I wonder why all this noise. At a time we had 4 strikers in the team, tevez, aguero, balotelli, dzeko and even jovetic another time.
A loan move to West ham might be good though

He is, try and watch his goal vs Celtic in the UEFA champions league. Then if you can his goal against Aston Villa in the fa cup last season. He ran the length of the pitch leaving defenders and one idrissa gueye in his wake.
