According to Wikipedia, a failed state is a political body that has disintegrated to a point where basic conditions and responsibilities of a
sovereign government no longer function properly (see also fragile state and state collapse ). Likewise, when a nation weakens and its standard of living declines, it introduces the possibility of total governmental collapse. The Fund for Peace characterizes a failed state as having the following characteristics:
-Loss of control of its territory, or of the
monopoly on the legitimate use of physical force therein
-Erosion of legitimate authority to make collective decisions
-Inability to provide public services
-Inability to interact with other states as a full member of the international community.
Following the above short description, does Nigeria qualify as a failed state?

Who would give you variation of calculus for your BSC project. That's a though one.
That was part of my one of my lecturer's PhD thesis.
Anyway. I did a self taught on it using KH Dass, advanced Mathematics. It was helpful in understanding the maths but generally principle.

It's been a while I opened it but my maths is not bad!

Hello friends.. I need help from professional Mathematicians/Physicists.. I'm a final year Physics student writing my project on HAMILTON'S PRINCIPLE which is alternatively called the ACTION PRINCIPLE.. Problem is that proper understanding of this concept requires that one be grounded in and make proper use of techniques of the Calculus of Variations.. This course has not been taught in my School and we're expected to defend our projects on the first week of second semester which is almost around the corner.. Please I need some help on materials and sources that can explain the topic from scratch.. I've searched everywhere on the internet and have even watched some videos on YouTube but none of them has been of help so far.. Thank you.
