But sir can I go ahead with the crossing, cause tried mating her today but she was so aggressive and she refused, though presently no sign of blood yet Jst discharge. So I don't knw if she on heat or about to come on heat. Pls help.

Goodday doc SeunH, my dog came on heat recently but is not quite stable, observed all the heat symptoms
, though her vulva was swollen, sometimes it reduces in size and increases subsequently but no blood Jst kind of a brown discharge, she also leaks the area. Today makes it day 7 she entered heat. I'll be on a standby for your response. Thanks

My dog had false pregnancy last year November to December and was to give birth 8th January but she didn't,
And now is the end of the 6th month going to the 7th month
Help what can I do.

She's 2 years plus, initially she had a false pregnancy and her last heat was October 29 last year

Good evening doc, please my dog sustain an injury, though is not that's severe, and I also applied some first aid treatment. But I was advised to get antibiotics.
Pls which can I get that is effective in case of any infection.

Heat cycle varies in individual dogs. My dog had her first two heat cycles in the space of 6 months, and then it took extra 6 months before she came on heat again.

Sorry I knw this might sound offensive, how am jst interrogating u, pardon me please, like which date did your dog enter heat during that October period is it on the 8th or 7th or when.

No, she came on heat earlier on, I think February or so... I skipped cuz I wasn’t around.

Don't mention sir, for the dewormer I'm hearing this for the first time, which dewormer did your vet now recommend as an alternative?

He kinda said albendazole is preferable , something like that. But I prefer your perspective. So I jst wanna be sure if is harmful so I will stop, or precede.

Good morning sir, what I'll advice you is to be patient and put your mind at rest. It happens like that occasionally. Just get her multivitamins and ensure she uses it daily accompanied with nourishing diet also rich in vitamins. Very soon she would come on heat once the last cycle is completed, all is well sir

Thank you sir, and which dewormer do u recommend for female dog, a vet told me that dewormer that contains praziquantel(eg caniverm) (though that's what I use) is not good for female dog, so which can I use.

Good day doc, I have a 2yrs old Caucasian whom I have mated twice and it was successful, but this third time of of mating(she entered heat on 24th of October 2021 and crossed her on 7th/11/2021 prospectively she was to litter this 8th January 2022 but came to discover she had a false pregnancy(psuedo) ...
So am kinda perplexed on what to do next, please I need an advice on what to do next and when next is she likely to enter her next estrus(heat).

Yes she is fine and doin well, a vet came through and gave her oxytocin. 30mins(interval)

Keep us updated!
At this final stage check her abdomen if is swollen(in some cases if she's carrying a small litter it might not be that obvious)
and also her breast if it has enlarged, though for the breast if this is her first time it might not be that big, as time goes on when she gives birth it will begin to lactate.
But all fingers crossed.
