The democrats lost Virginia you won't see them attacking the capitol or claiming rigged elections.

The good thing about this loss is that it seems democrats are learning their lessons and will take 2022 seriously.

Race played a factor in this Virginia was one of the last states in the south to end segregation.

Youngkin appealed to race if you follow his campaign he appealed to fears and made it seem like democrats were fighting whites and white voters saved him.

A lieutenant is the equivalent of a deputy governor as the case is in Nigeria.In some states you run joint ticket or separate ticket because of the states constitution.

In Virginia governor's don't run for re-elections or consecutive terms also the ticket of governor is not joint it is separate so it is possible for the governor and deputy or in this case the lieutenant (second in command) to be from a different party.
Some states in America don't have deputy governor's an example is Arizona. It all boils down to the laws of that state

As for your first paragraph in Wisconsin it was the other way around a school board won elections despite some right wing critics called an election on them because they saw nothing wrong with CRT.
CRT isn't even about hate or the propaganda republicans spread painted it as I don't think they can win with that for long but republicans are good at waging and winning with culture wars they will run on another one once they have exhausted CRT. If you watched a video circulating around about a Youngkin voter who voted for Youngkin because of CRT,when he was asked what CRT was he couldn't even respond because some of them buying into republican lies have no idea what they are doing they are low information voters

I agreed with you Youngkin's campaign despite it being mostly based on propaganda were very good with messaging which democrats keep failing to get right election cycle after election cycle.

American two party system is also a problem in the long run.

I don't know much about the CRT but I've read a summary of it from CNN and also from conservatives media platforms, and I can tell you, there is a huge difference. My major question, what is the goal of CRT really? to fight racism? No matter how you look it,most white people won't accept CRT.
