lexy2014:Yes it does that was why Jackson and his wife didn't die despite being in their 70's and hospitalised.Powell had multiple myeloma which put him at a much higher risk of death just because of less than 1% doesn't disprove the efficacy of the vaccines. |
successemma:Settle down and read do you know what vaccines do you don't know the work of a vaccine. What complicated his case was the fact that he had multiple myeloma which is highly dangerous there are a lot of vaccinated folks who survived covid |
Jakumo:He had multiple myeloma which put him at a higher risk also the unvaccinated are a big threat to the vaccinated hence why it keeps spreading and mutating thereby becoming more dangerous |
SarkinYarki:Vaccines work.He had multiple myeloma which put him at a higher risk. |
I find it too gruesome. I have only watched the trailer and highlights I can't watch this film because of the violence nah I will pass make una nor hype am reach my side. I don't watch movies/series with a lot of deaths and tragedies. |

raumdeuter:I am concerned about their electric cars, has Abbott fixed their power grid yet? Make Tesla nor go flop oo Texas is known to experience blackout once in a while and manages electricity very well. ![]() Billionaires just don't like paying their fair share of taxes ![]() |
okwusdaddy:Lol how many times have you helped the needy and donated to an orphanage, how many children in orphanages have actually been adopted in this part of the world lol. Easier said than done many Nigerians don't like the idea of adoption they would rather wait for God even of it takes 18 years. People abort if the embryo has birth defects every woman should have an access to abortions thank God it is so in the developed world and abortion isn't murder |
okwusdaddy:Because the woman carrying it doesn't want it and may not have a plan for the baby, neither is government ready to assist or help out so you don't force people to have children against their will especially when they have no resources or good mental health to have one. Safe abortion is not a risk only unsafe ones are |
Joshthefirst:Your questions are so out of touch, when will you realise that abortion is a social and economic issue not just a religious or moral one? A fetus doesn't have any rights until it is born and it makes no sense to commit infanticide when the child has already been born.As for the question you asked me that law doesn't exist in any country of today so we are good .It is acceptable not just because of its legality but because it could be of social and economic convenience depending on the choice and circumstances involved. Have you actually bothered to research on why people have abortions? |
JESHAL:You will cry from now till tomorrow abortions will keep happening and it cannot be categorised as murder where it is legal and abortion isn't infanticide that isn't the definition of infanticide. ![]() Anyway go and adopt and care for children that need families instead of worrying about the unborn that doesn't need your help. |
Joshthefirst:Abortion isn't murder and I cannot see it as such especially when it is legal in those countries it isn't categorised as murder because it just doesn't have the ingredients to be categorised or seen as such.Abortion isn't murder, when a child has been born outside the womb then it can be called murder or infanticide depending on what constitutes it as such, lastly your last statement makes no sense any parent that doesn't want a child doesn't give birth to it where abortion is legal hence why the law is there once the child has been born it has rights and in that case the law of the country is allowed to run its course. |
JESHAL:Boy haven't you gotten the memo yet that I don't want to read your comments or talk to you? try to stop quoting me it will not change my mind or make me reason with you |
GerogeI:Okay, how does this argument help you move back into reality?. This debate is happening in first world countries where teenagers offer bouncers quickies in bathrooms just to gain entrance to clubs where they are not allowed to be. Sex is treated as entertainment in both US and UKLet's say this is absolutely true, are there any statistics to prove that abortion is only or mostly carried out by this age group and that women happily do abortions, why limit it to teenagers and unmarried folks even those that are married have abortions where it is legal. Nothing wrong with this as it's your choice to dabble into ordering a baby, just that if you know you do not want the baby arriving, better use condom, not force everyone to legalise murder in the name of abortionsContraceptives fail and statistics after statistics have shown that countries where abortion is legal the abortion rate is low and healthcare is prioritised hence why many women and even men have access to family planning methods,it is actually countries like Nigeria that don't value health care, family planning etc that have high risk of unwanted pregnancies hence back alley abortions are high, abortion isn't murder and even if you see it as such nobody is forcing you to have it it should be a choice and option for those who need it especially when the same government making it illegal is lacking and failing their people and not being responsible enough to do their job for the masses. As for girls having babies they can not take care off. Please take them to your parents, that is what is provided for in most African cultures, at least in Igbo culture, your father can raise your child as his. What happened to the boys, can't you also hold boys accountable since you fail in mentioning the boys don't put unnecessary burden on the girls and their parents, lol this is 2021 almost 2022 not every parent welcomes that idea and I will not allow that,a parent after raising their children shouldn't be tasked with raising their grandchildren let their children do it themselves the time the parents are supposed to enjoy their old age and be taken care of you want to burden them with the duty of raising grandchildren too, what if those grandparents are poor and suffered to raise their children?you wan add grandchildren join, your points are really not in tune with reality at all,I will not in my rights senses burden my parents with my children I never did that, neither will my own children do that to me. |
Joshthefirst:I didn't open the link,I have read many for and against arguments on the issue,I can even share another link to disprove otherwise, you claim it starts from conception others can concede it starts at a particular week when it gets to a particular stage. I don't believe it starts from conception but from a certain stage I am pro-choice and I see abortion as a social and economic issue not a moral/religious one so even if it starts from conception according to you I still support abortions where necessary if the parents don't want it,it doesn't change my view as I don't see it as murder |
Godszilla:Whatever dude, the foetus is technically isn't human and some will argue that it gets to a certain stage before it can be termed as one. Every human with their school of thought |
Joshthefirst:Some even argue that it starts from the 16th week,my stance isn't unpopular and I used the term 'technically' in that sense Whether you believe life starts at conception is up to you.It doesn't change what is on ground I don't believe life starts at conception and whatever life that is is subject to the woman carrying the pregnancy to decide. |
GerogeI:You are not in touch with reality if you think women abort pregnancies for fun, have you really sat down to understand why people have abortions or did anybody tell you that they are happy to do it you seem not to know that married couples have abortions too so they are idiots who see sex as entertainment abi?you are not a woman so you don't even know better. You are not in touch with reality parenting is hard if it isn't we won't be having criminals and all vices that starts from the home, like I said adopt and train kids that are not your own until then you are just blabbing because you are the one sounding stupid and obviously out of touch with humanity. Parenting is hard, the economy is hard and every adult has a choice to decide whether or not they want to have children unless you want to help them train them if you cannot stop blabbing and talking out of point. |
Godszilla:It isn't disinformation, abortion is not murder and a foetus is technically not a human being with any rights whatsoever ![]() |
GerogeI:Lol,go and take care of all the unwanted children in the world who are left as destitutes and criminals, born into poverty and cruelty after that we talk. I don't want to argue what you raised because there is no need for that ,you think it is easy to be a parent okay very well start by adopting the homeless and carrying for the children left to suffer and die when you do believe me when I tell you that abortion will reduce until then na wishful thinking because abortion will still take place and where it is illegal it is back alley abortions which are unsafe. |
Joshthefirst:Argue with the scientists a foetus isn't fully human and cannot technically have any rights that is the argument depending on the school of thought you belong to,some also argue if the foetus has same rights as the person carrying it. |
dhardline:Euthanasia is allowed in countries when the dying patient consents to it and doesn't want to live you can call it murder of you wish the dying patient requested for it,even in a critical pregnancy they prioritise the life of the mother and doctors work to save the mother. How hard is it to grasp this things! Abortion will never be illegal and yet you talk about back alley abortionsI mentioned back alley abortions where it concerns countries where abortion is illegal, making abortion illegal doesn't stop it that is the point I was making. Let me try and make it easy for you to understand. When the government makes a law it does not mean some people will not break that law what it simply means is if you are caught then you'll bear the bruntWell not in Nigeria obviously there are even statistics by WHO and other bodies that abortion rate is high in Nigeria don't even pretend it doesn't happen in a country that cannot even prioritise health care and children lol. And on religious grounds its taking the life of another person( A seperate and distinct person) who was looking forward to living life to the fullest but you took laws into your own hands and choose that he/she would amount to nothing. Shalom.Well thank goodness there is a separation of religion and state and in many secular countries they understand that religion is a personal conviction and you don't make your religion a law or constitution for humanity.Nobody is forcing anybody to have an abortion if you believe it is a sin don't do it but don't decide for others especially when you won't be there to help them care for the children or adopt them |
GerogeI:Lol abortion isn't murder and a foetus isn't a human being technically, children are born by parents who prepare and choose to have them so bye bye ![]() |
GerogeI:How exactly does this concern me ![]() GerogeI:Lol,in a bid to sound smart you miss the point when a child is born isn't it obvious that the parents made a choice of wanting to keep it and decide for it until it reaches the age of consent, which is why the parent is a guardian,a foetus/embryo doesn't get this benefit neither is the benefit open to a foetus/embryo.You are the one with selective logic since you couldn't see the point I was driving at,is the application for children open for an unborn yes or no?that was the point and next time try not to insult me again |
dhardline:Have you heard of Euthanasia?Google it it answers your question on coma because it seems you have a problem grasping what choice means and see, also Roe V Wade made it the law of the land Texas law makers cannot supercede or overturn federal law and precedent which is why they will lose in court and it cannot stand unless the supreme court overrules itself and in this case it will be very hard to do.Since a foetus and embryo cannot apply for the aforementioned it is not a human being that is the logic I am trying to pass across or why don't you add an embryo to a census and give it an identity or better still name it while yet unborn .Thankfully slavery is now illegal and abortion will never be,the legality or illegality of abortion doesn't stop back alley abortions from happening till date |
GerogeI:Go and argue with science and next time don't insult me. |
Masterclass32:It seems you don't know that married couples go for abortions,so a married couple who may be poor and not financially capable shouldn't have sex right? Lol that is why birth control should be advised and in some countries abortion is a health care and a part of birth control. |
dhardline:If not for science a foetus or embryo will not survive without the woman carrying it so how can it be a human being when it cannot survive on its own.The charges of double homicide depend on the laws of the country it may or may not apply.Do you carry out census on the foetus, apply for scholarships or benefits for children on a foetus/embryo if your answer is no then you have no point. My logical/scientific claim comes from research which I will advice you do,a foetus is not a human being and abortion where it is legal cannot be murder.Abortion is a choice and not a must. The topic of this thread is Texas which is in the united states where the supreme court in the case of Roe v Wade made abortion legal in the United States and it is a judicial precedent which must be followed. |
dhardline:Logically and scientifically abortion is not and can never be muder.Never you compare a human being with inalienable rights to a foetus/embryo because the person carrying such an embryo has full and exclusive rights to her body to decide how she sees fit not the embryo. Abortion is not murder that is just the emotional religious blackmail we hear. |
dhardline:This is very illogical and makes no sense.Abortion will continue to happen in the united states including Texas. A child doesn't give consent not to talk of an embryo/foetus |
Starzo:Where are your stats on this? Abortion remains legal in the united states and Texas restrictions on it is only temporary. |
GodisFirst:The Texas law goes against Roe V Wade an established judicial precedent on the matter. The truth is this law won't stand and it will be overturned by the courts or federal legislation it is clearly unconstitutional. |

try to stop quoting me it will not change my mind or make me reason with you
