Hi Guys, its me again.

Well, for those that have been invited for the tax test... it will probably be same thing as the other tests. About 50 questions, verbal (antonyms, synonyms & fill in the gap), quantitative and abit of current affairs... not so difficult I guess, so you should be fine. If you can practice GMATs well, it should go smoothly.. All the best!!

A friend of mine was invited for the Audit AC, so it means they have kicked off Assessment centres as well. Advisory (as usual) is always last to start anything... if you chose advisory , well get ready for a long wait and hopefully you have foreign degrees and excellent O'level results cos they favour those and sieve out the rest.

I passed by the test venue on saturday and I was shocked to see the number of candidates that turned up for the test. All the best to those who wrote and passed the test and hopefully the essay. Most of my friends did not make it

Anyway, I will still give you all the same advice I give to all. You are better off choosing Audit as your first choice if you do not want to be on a long thing. Other units will take gazillion years and they don't even take as many people as Audit

As for me, I currently work with a small firm but I am plotting my move in Audit once I gain some relevant experience to join as an experienced hire. I still want to have the opportunity to enjoy all the fun stuff my Audit friends always talk about. Join as a graduate hire while you have the opportunity now.

Congrats to those that passed the aptitude test. Well, just a piece of advice for you 'all (from a VERY reliable source wink)..... cos I have so many friends that work in KPMG. Of the units in KPMG, Audit is definitely the unit to choose. Most people say they work so hard, work late etc.... but trust me its not as bad as they paint it. Audit people have a lot of cool stuff they do which makes working a whole lot more interesting. The other units don't even do half of the fun stuff Audit guys do.

Besides they take the largest number of candidates per year compared to the other units in KPMG, their recruitment process is even shorter than the others. You definitely stand a better chance of getting into Audit than Advisory or tax.

I will be popping in from time to time to throw in some more stuff.

It was just a congratulatory mail. We were told that the details of the next stage would be communicated soon. All we know is that its gonna be a full day assessment handled by the Unilever recruitment team..... Not ADEXEN.
