22 days is too long to hold them for whatever interrogation and yes, they should have been accompanied by a security personnel, for the safety of themselves and other passengers. At that point, and with all they had gone through, blood don dey hot. Pakistanis that are hard headed. They will kill even their child for honor. We can do better than this!

This is profiling and it is unnecessary. Except if there are credible threats or they belonged to banned organisations I cannot see why they were deported or why anyone should be concerned about their safety in their midst. There is freedom of movement you know and preachers of different faiths travel all over the world and to Nigeria to spread various messages and win converts to their cause. Nothing wrong with that.

Now you have taken it beyond the scope of this thread.

You are not privy to the reason why the Nigerian Security Agencies thought it wise to detain 9 men for 22 DAYS and still deport them so how can you come here and talk about profiling? undecided

I have been on several flights where passengers were being deported and can tell you that its not all the time that security is required.

Every International flight nowadays have inflight Security (Air Marshalls). They don't reveal themselves except where necessary.

Chances are , the guy who ordered the other guy back to his seat may have been one of the Marshal's.

Extra-Security is only required when the passengers are unruly and pose a threat to the safety of the flight which from the story I can't sense.

Their information is already with the Airline and would have been sent to the security agencies in the arrival port for them to take it up from there.

The guys being deported were escorted from detention straight into the plane so they were definitely not a security threat. The fact they were upset (and rightly so as anybody who is being deported will feel) does not make them a bigger threat than they actually are.

Much Ado about nothing.

I am impressed that the Nigerian Security agencies were able to identify potential threats crossing our borders and took measures to stop them gaining access. That should be commended.

I am not advising anybody to kill anybody. How you heard that is a mystery.

I am advising people to be tolerant and considerate of other people.

An American Boy a while back went to North Korea on vacation (which the United States Government has warned its people against) and whilst he was there, he tried to steal a propaganda sign of the North Korean Government for fun. The Boy got sentenced to death which was later commuted to 15years in prison with hard labor. The moral lesson here is: If that boy had quietly enjoyed his vacation and left the North Korea without trying to mess with them, he would be a free man today. Same way if that lady had listened to the warnings issued to her previously by the people in that area and also by her husband, she would be alive today.

Killing is wrong but please don't go inciting people to hurt you.
