I was scammed the same way here. He asked me to pay and he will give it to a driver. Baba collected money from more than 5 others.

I have learnt my lesson. There are many scammers here. Always go and inspect before paying. They will tell you that many others are in a hurry to pay, that you should act fast.

Never pay anyone. Even if they promise to waybill it. Let the person you know go and collect the stuff and help you to waybill.

Another pointer is how long the account was registered. It's highly unlikely that an account that was registered 2018 downwards will scam you. It's usually newer accounts. That is not to say that they can't.

Just shine you eyes. Don't foolishly lose your hard-earned money.

A kind hearted man on nairaland paid for a new decoder and a year subscription for me. I've told the mushin donor that someone else has paid for the decoder and subscription so i won't be coming for it again.
I am really grateful to the kind hearted man God sent to me.
I am really grateful for your all the advice and love since yesterday.
It's a mistake i am not going to make again.
Let's all be careful. There are scammers everywhere. God bless us all.

Wow. I wanted a gotv and was scammed too. Anyone that have a gotv that he is not using should help out.

How can I track this guy down. He is not the guy on his DP.

The police are already on it but they are too slow. He is not the owner of the the phone number. They are making progress but slowly. The account number was for fraud purposes. He knows that tracking him will be difficult because he is using the details of an innocent guy.

I'm exploring going spiritual but it may be too harsh.

In case you don't know, it takes less than 300 naira to make you run mad if you prey on the wrong person and what would it have benefited you?

It's not too late to retract your step and give that young lady her money or make available to her, what she paid for.

He also thought he scammed me. In the 48 laws of power, there's a rule to never offend the wrong person.

I have given him the grace to return my money. If not, I will be on his case, even if it means spending all I have.

I may take the option of taking things spiritual with him. I only don't want to regret my actions for a small amount of money.

Thank God we are approaching the holidays,. I will take a day for him. I just hope that his mother is prayerful.

Selfpaiid posted fairly used gotv decoder for sale. I needed the decoder so badly since i can't afford a new one. Things have been kind of hard lately.
My siblings have been disturbing me for a gotv decoder. I knew how much they wanted but i couldn't afford it. So when i saw the thread on fairly used gotv decoder, i was happy.
I wanted to get it for them to make them happy.
Things we do for love.
I messaged the OP who posted it and I explained everything to him that i want to buy it and i don't really have much money. He told me he stays at sango but he can send it down to Lagos for me.
I agreed after a while and I sent him the money.
I wanted to make my siblings happy. After i sent the money he stopped replying me till today.. (Onyenka Sunny) is his name. His moniker is (Selfpaiid) he is a thief and a scammer.
I don't have money.. I gave him all i had yesterday.
For making me shed tears God will never forgive him and he will suffer all the days of his life.
I will report him to the police.

I asked him to refund my money he said why am i disturbing him.. I told him i want to use it.. He said why am i disturbing him.. Why are people like this?? No more trust worthy people again??

He did same to me. I sent money to him for the gotv. He told me this morning that it is no longer available that he will refund me.

I am waiting till the end of today. I have many SARS friends who are looking for money. By the time he is tracked down. He will know that the scam was not worth it.

I read a review of the TV on the internet. It's a very basic TV. I checked the price on eBay, some people even want to sell for as low as £7. You can check it yourself. That offer is great in my opinion.
There's a Highway TV of that same size going for 15k on Jumia and its brand new.

10k is what I have.
