I don't believe it has a faulty charging port par say cos she said non of the the five chargers she used worked on the tab, note* not like it is shaking ooo. Please, I really didn't want to contribute to this @ambient and @futurefocus matter since cos I felt breeze will blow it away like others before it but it seems to have come to say.

I have nothing against @futurefocus incase anyone thinks I do. I have patronized him a couple of times by buying tools from him and so far, no reason to complain as they are functioning for what he claims and what I bought them for. I remember the reason I chatted him up the first time was cos I wanted to buy a spare phone from him. We reached conclusion but I didn't buy it cos he told me he discovered something about the battery not good or so (he told me this himself, not like I discovered). So, on this ground, I can say he tries to give as much details as possible.

However, I don't think @ambient is also a bad person, anyone who works to make money will be pissed if they do not get the value of whatever they've paid for. I'd like to commend her for keeping evidences regarding their transaction though.

I still think it's all a matter of misunderstanding and interpretation of facts and statements. And it's important no one becomes overly invested in the matter more than the buyer and seller sef (this is what has been happening for days now). This is same way @moves222 was given mob action without evidence. I bought stuff from him and I'm satisfied and I'm sure others also did.

I believe @ambient will not waste a minute modifying all her messages the moment @futurefocus settles with her (I might be wrong Sha)
And @futurefocus, I'd implore you to do whatever seems reasonable and proper as a price to pay for your own peace. I what you to see it not as satisfying the customer but as making peace for your sef.

This is an under-estimate because you can sell it for more. How do I know? I also have another store I retail.

Mine is not hotpoint o, can't even remember the name, will check tonight. I know it's a non-frost fridge however, it's not fulfilling the reputation of what I have heard about them. Atleast, the freezer retains ice block for 4-5 days without light at all. I will still be drinking cold water from the freezer after a week sef.

Quite true, few days ago i was looking for this rechargeable electric mosquito killler, i saw them on Facebook Ad from 12k -24k, i contacted my friends if they had any one seller it, got the ladies contact i later bought it from her at 5,500.

I have come to learn that anything that makes it to ecommerce sites, Instagram or whatever, automatically doubles price. You pay for your ignorance of not knowing where to source these things directly and you pay them for bringing it to your doorstep.


Few days back I was passing somewhere and I saw them selling inbuilt ovens, microwaves and those big foreign used refrigerators (Hotpoint, Siemens and Whirlpool mostly). Out of curiosity I stopped and decided to window shop. Mind you, I didn’t even know where I was, but it was on the mainland. The seller, an old woman, told me a refrigerator of about 250l is 80k. She said I should price it small. The inbuilt oven is 43k.

I know pages that sell the same refrigerator for 130k. All because it made it to Instagram and they assume online shoppers are impatient and have a lot of money to throw around.

My Point: You can go out there and buy these things yourself at cheaper rates, since the prices here are competing with flagship stores.. Online shopping these days is a scam. Decluttering is also becoming a scam. I am not sure it is meant for Nigeria and Nigerians.

You see office table and chairs, those Igbo traders along Egbeda road are looking for who to buy it @20-30k.

You are so right. Remember when I wanted to get my fridge, nairaland sellers use me learn work. I ended up buying on impulse one day I walked past a place and I saw what I like.
