You cant compare South American WC qualifiers with African WC qualifiers.

In South America, they have just 1 group, with 10 teams playing each other in a round robin format, with only 3 automatic spots and 1 playoff. So its the toughest World Cup qualification.

Its like having Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal, Tunisia, Morroco, Zambia and Guinea all in one group and fighting for 3 spots.

We should leave friendly games. Spend our time and energy to start an NFF sponsored program to monitor our Super Eagles players in Europe so they make it to big clubs and always in the starting IX of the big clubs. Then discover and develop new talents that will be regulars in big clubs.

These are the right steps to take if we want good rankings and reaching World Cup semi finals, not playing big teams cos the default result will always be a draw or we get trashed.

Check most of these big countries' players play in First Division big teams in Spain, England and Italy and are in first IX of their respective clubs.
