I applied to this company BAM Construction Company UK via nairaland and i got a text yesterday inviting me for a visa interview in British high commission in Abuja on d 19th of july 2012, i was at d address today and they said they do not conduct interview in dat address, i also got an appointment letter with a huge salary from this BAM Construction Company UK,

my concern is that they are asking me to pay N16,500 for INTERNATIONAL WORKS CERTIFICATE to a first bank account and that i need to pay and get the certificate b4 going for the visa interview.

PLS I need advice!!!!

Hello Folks, i meet a girl dated her for a while and proposed to her recently, only for her to tell that most of the the things she told me about herself was not true but all lies, i find it difficult to believe her again after all the lies even thoungh she had opened up to me, when i asked her why d lies she said she told me all those lies then just to keep me.......

I[b] will advise you to take the following steps:

first, try booting with an external monitor connected if available and see if it exhibits the same symptoms. Also check you have no cd in the drive or usb plugged in. If this cures it go into the bios setup and change the boot order to hard disk first.

Second, how old is your laptop? If it is older than 4 years, I would guess that the screen is going bad.

When the screen does not come on, can you look VERY closely at it and see if maybe there is a dim image on the screen? If so, your backlight inverter has gone out.

i tried an external monitor d case was still d same, from setup d first boot device is d hard disk, there is no cd in d cd rom or flash in d usb port, and it still does not boot, d laptop is almost 2 years old, someone changed d ram for me with with another ram it booted and after i restarted it, d case went back as b4. wat next can i do?

My Laptop does not boot, its an HP Pavilion laptop when i turn it on all d lights come on , d fan rotates but nothing shows on screen, it does dis most times and some times it boots and shows on screen i dont know wats wrong or wat to do.
