@ Shehuaba, the current affair is not about NLNG, many will waste their time searching for NLNG details but it is good, that type of question is is asked to job seekers not scholarship applicant and you should also know that Nigerian University Scholarships have a format for setting their questions which is not the same with GMAT, I say this because many will use GMAT and won't get much. This particular Scholarship Exam is organized by WAEC,
Last year, the Questions of NLNG, ADDAX/NNPC and TOTAL scholarships were the same 80 Questions because it was organized by the same set of people from WAEC, so getting the past questions for NLNG covers up for your ADDAX/NNPC which are yet to shorlist and Total which will show up in your 200L again.

@banjidipo, no body promised it was going to be easy, but with intensive practice, you can gain mastry over the question tricks and save more time, because the exam is more time screening, where you have 30 minutes to answer the 40 questions in each section. Continous parsctice is all that is required, Also note that as it is difficult to you so is it difficult for others. but you gain advantage if have a preview of what to do. Most of the questions keep you blank for some minutes but if you have practiced them over time you will know the required approach,

The annual Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship for indigent students in Nigerian tertiary institutions is now open for applications. The award is for 20 indigent students, each of whom will receive One hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000) for their education.
Eligibility Criteria For 2013 Gani Fawehinmi Scholarships

Applicant must be poor and indigent.
Applicant must be registered students of Tertiary institutions in Nigeria i.e Universities, Polytechnics and College of Education
Applicants must have good academic performances.

How to Apply for Gani Fawehinmi Scholarships

Each applicant shall submit an application letter, not more than two pages. The letter must include the name of the candidate, course of study, year of study, state of origin, and why the candidate believes that he/she should be given the scholarship award. The application letter must be accompanied by:

A photocopy of the candidate’s current Identity card.
A letter from the candidate’s current Head of Department, including correct information of the candidate’s CGPA for the last academic semester.
A letter from the Registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of such institution.

Striking university teachers on Wednesday insisted that they would not return to the classrooms until the Federal Government honoured fully the 2009 agreement and Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two parties.

This came as there were conflicting reports from the University of Jos over the institution post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

While the striking teachers insisted on Wednesday that the exercise would not hold, the school authorities said the screening was in progress.

University teachers under the auspices of the Academic Staff Union of Universities embarked on a nationwide industrial action on July 1, 2013.

However, the Ibadan Zonal Coordinator of ASUU, Dr. Adesola Nassir, during a briefing at the University of Lagos, on Wednesday insisted that the strike would not end until the Federal Government respected the signed pact.

The zone has members drawn from UNILAG, University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State; Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State; Lagos State University, Ojo; Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagu, Ogun State and the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Nassir explained that though the union met with the government’s representatives, including the members of the Senate Committee on Education last Monday, the meeting ended in a deadlock.

He said, “This is because the Federal Government is still not being sincere to address the issues at stake.

“The strike will remain for as long as it takes the Federal Government to be faithful to the implementation of the 2009 agreement and its renegotiation as contained in the Memorandum of Understanding reached by both parties in January last year.”

He explained that the FG’s response to the action since it started had shown that it was not ready to address the challenges facing the nation’s university system.

Meanwhile, the ASUU UNIJOS chairman, Dr. David Jangkam, has urged parents not to send their children to the school for the post-UTME.

He said, “No parent should send their children to UNIJOS because the ongoing strike is total, comprehensive and indefinite and so no academic activities in whatever form is supposed to take place.''

However, the university said the screening was in progress.

Speaking with journalists on Wednesday, its Registrar, Mr. Jilli Dandam, called on the public and participating candidates to disregard any contrary announcement from the striking teachers.
