Health › 10 Top Exercises To Increase Your Height by excell12go(op): 8:00pm On Jan 18, 2015 |
Height is something that many people strive for and it can be helpful to get around your day. If you want to get a little taller but think you are stuck with your current height, you may be wrong. With just a few simple exercises you could increase your height and start reaching for the stars.
1) Swimming Swimming is an exercise that requires plenty of stretching and reaching, which can gradually increase your height. However you will need to swim often and for long periods in order to see significant results. You should try and plan for two hours daily if you want to increase your height.
2) Hanging Exercises These exercises are just what they sound like. You will need to hang down from a bar and let your body stretch. You can also hang and then bring your legs up parallel to the ceiling to create and even better stretch. You will want to keep this up for several repetitions and several times a week.
3) Touch Toes It’s time to go back to these treasured years of gym class and touch your toes. If you can’t touch your toes, you’re not alone and just stretch as far as you can. If you missed gym class you perform this exercise by standing straight and then bending down to touch your toes. You should hold the stretch for a few seconds each time.
4) Cobra Stretch This stretch is all about stretching out your spine and elongating the body. The more you do this stretch the more you will open up your back and increase your height. To perform this stretch you should lie on the face down and palms under your shoulders. Then arch your back by raising your chin to form an angle.
5) Pelvic Shift This exercise targets the spine and lower hips and is considered one of the most effective exercises for increasing height. To perform this lay flat on your back with your palms out to the sides. Keep your legs bent and slowly push your pelvis upward. Hold the pose for 20 to 30 seconds. Repeat this several times for best results.
6) Leg Stretches There are a number of different types of stretches for legs and any stretches that work the calves will be very useful in increasing height. One good calf exercise is to stand parallel to a wall and place your hands on the wall. Put your weight on your hands and then slowly move one leg closer to the wall. You should feel a stretch in your calf. Hold the position for 20 to 30 seconds and repeat it a few times.
7) The Table For this exercise you are going to put your body into the shape of a table. While it sounds easy enough this is actually a difficult stretch that will work wonders for increasing height. Start by sitting on the floor with your legs stretched out. Then place your palms on the floor with your hands facing toward your feet. Next place your feet flat on the floor and push your torso upward until your body resembles a table.
Jump Rope Jump rope is not only a school yard activity and a great way to remember songs, it is also a great exercise for stretching out the body, especially the lower legs. You will build up these muscles and stretch them out throughout the jumping motion. The more often you jump rope the sooner you will start to see results.
9) Two Legs Straight Up For this exercise you will need to lay flat on your back. Place your palms flat on the floor at your side. Then try and raise your legs toward the ceiling at the same time. Do the motion slowly and stretch your legs up until your pelvis slightly lifts off the ground. This is a great stretch for your legs and lower back. It is also a difficult stretch so it may take some practice.
10) Cat and Dog These stretches will bring out the animal in you and have the ability to stretch your body an inch or two as well. Start on your hands and knees. Arch your back upward and lift while keeping your ads tight. Hold this position for a few seconds and then breathe out as you push your tailbone under. Hold this position and then repeat the stretch. http://www.goodtips4life.com/15-top-exercises-to-increase-height

Does General Buhari Think Nigerians Have Forgotten? – Abidemi Babaolowo Oderinlo
I read Buhari’s comment this morning and I almost laughed. He said ..”Our country has gone through several rough patches, but never before have I seen a Nigerian President declare war on his own country as we are seeing now.” —- Grandpa Buhari, you can lie ooo! What about the wars you declared on innocent Nigerians as a military ruler… Your tolerance for opposition was superb then I assume, so holistic that you jailed so many people without fair trial..
As an oligarch and military ruler, you didn’t believe in equality before the law. Just to mention a few of the things you did that I am sure GEJ hasn’t even scratched the surface…
1. You jailed Lateef Jakande, Jim Nwobodo, Ambrose Ali, Pa Adekunle Ajasin, Chief Ayo Ojewumi on cases that had no foundation… That one is not war on Nigeria and Nigerians right?
2. You protected Awwal Ibrahim, the then Niger State governor, who was arrested in Heathrow Airport in London with 14 million pounds sterling and several millions of Naira and dollars by putting him under house arrest. I wonder why you frown at GEJ for protecting Ijaw thieves?
3. You placed Shehu Kangiwa, Sokoto State Governor who conducted and supervised the famous Bakolori Massacre of poor peasant farmers whose land were appropriated without compensation under house arrest instead of the guillotine like you always do with people that did nothing.
4. Ayo Ojewumi and Prof. Ambrose Alli came out of your prison camps blind as a result of imprisonment on false charges… Even Mandela still had his eyes after decades of imprisonment, what did you inject in their system… Love abi?
5. You publicly executed three innocent Nigerians by enacting an overnight law that made legality illegal for your own good pleasure. Lawal Ojuolape (30), Bernard Ogedengbe (29) and Bartholomew Owoh (26). were killed because you upgraded the law to suit your blood thirst.
6. You jailed Ndukar Irabor and Tunde Thompson of the Guardian on stories that were true under Decree 4. You told Nigerian journalists then that “it did not matter whether the story reported was true or not, if my regime did not like it, the writer would go to jail.”
7. You Jailed Pa Adekunle Ajasin… you might want to tell us why?
8. You created emergency rule just because you wanted to jail Fela Anikulapo -Kuti (Abami Eda) out of your way on trumped up charges. The judge later confessed you ordered him to do so..with an apology to Abami Eda. If Fela were alive today, he will win you in any election with or without rigging, you should bury your head in shame and stop calling yourself “elder statesman” you are nothing near a statesman.. you be “enemy of state”.
9. You publicly said ” I decided to deal with this Fela problem once and for all.” was Fela Kuti the voice of truth and freedom a problem? You were and still a problem.. hundreds of thousands are dead in your name..
10. As a smuggler, you supervised the smuggling of 53 suitcases filled with cash through the MMA against the protests of General Tunde Idiagbon and ironically, Abubakar Atiku, the then Director General of the Customs. Your chief smuggler then was your ADC, Col. Mustapha Jokolo.
11. Buhari, the unholy mallam, you placed President Shagari under house arrest inside a palatial mansion in Ikoyi while you locked up Shagari’s Vice, Alex Ekwueme in Kirikiri Prison… so much for being a true Nigerian with no ethnic inclination… Sir Ahmadu Bello will be very proud of you for upholding the dumb ass Dan Fodio estate.
12. Worst of all, you subverted the will of the people that night in 1983 when you disbanded democracy with force… I’ve heard the lame claim of bloodless coup, but you’ve shed more blood in public view than any ruler Nigeria has seen..more than even the stone-hearted Abacha, you are simply a lying, heartless, northern Islamist.
For those that paint Buhari in shining anti-corrupton light, GEJ is a lot like him, power drunk bigots that want to keep power at all cost, even if the people they want to govern die miserable deaths in the process… If GMB is still a saint, maybe GEJ is right about stealing not being a corrupt practice… Killing is just murder not corruption, stealing is just robbery not corruption… I choose the truth though. http://omojuwa.com/2014/07/general-buhari-nigerians-havent-forgotten-abidemi-babaolowo-oderinlo/ |

Over 1,000 APC Members In Supporters Of Atiku Defect To PDP In Gombe State
As the season of defection gains momentum, over 1,000 members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in support of Atiku. have defected to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State, reports todayngr.
The defectors which cut across many groups were made up of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar's supporters.

Women Leader for the defectors, Hajiya Baby Gafar said they were decamping because those who perpetrated autocracy and oppression in the ruling party are now the leaders of APC in the state and the same scenario is now repeating itself; even more than it were in the PDP. http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/daily/politics/43147-apc-members-defect-to-pdp-in-gombehttps://m.facebook.com/newsdayR/posts/10152612993530678 |

REALLY HEART TOUCHING!!!>... ..... “When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce.
I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly.
Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.
The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn’t have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn’t want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month’s time and she didn’t want to disrupt him with our broken marriage. This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into our bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that every day for the month’s duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.
I told Jane about my wife’s divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.
My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don’t tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.
On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn’t tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.
She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily. Suddenly it hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head. Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it’s time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day. But her much lighter weight made me sad.
On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office…. jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind…I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore. She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won’t divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn’t value the details of our lives, not because we didn’t love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I’ll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.
That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed -dead. My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push through with the divorce.— At least, in the eyes of our son—- I’m a loving husband….
The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse’s friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy relationship/marriage! |

One of the thing I hate about nigerian, we dont want to solve the problem. We just call people baba rere, that is not a solution to our problem. This was in early may-june period. It is disgusting to try to twist facts by adding a picture of the student protest almost five months ago at least online you would have seen the date it was uploaded.if anybody says the president was stoned or abused there should be videos.at least I saw people taking pictures where are those guys now set.Was fayose abused yes,was the oni of IFE abused yes by around 60-70 students. These group of students were still abusing the oni of IFE when the president stepped out.Get your facts well please. |

SaiBuharii: For all I know, sites like Sahara reporters, channels news mk us knw d true condition of the country. The OAU student president is just an individual giving his opinion, just like Jonathan gives opinion outside d country dt does not represent our opinion. They may hv given d guy like 500k like that.
GEJ has a weak supporter base in Osun. That's the only western state he lost in 2011. On the other hand, why should a reasonable person clap for Jonathan? What had he done in Osun than to do little or no projects because it is APC controlled.
I was present there yesterday, and had the chance to see the president. At this point in time it is imperative to say that immediately GEJ stepped out of oduduwa aud ,he was cheered by the hundreds of people who where present. While very few voices called him ole just as they heaped insults on the oni of IFE and on governor fayose of ekiti state. This is proof that sahara reporters are barefaced liers. The students and the IFE people might have cheered him because they were seeing the number one Nigerian for the first and only time in their life. But the truth was they cheered him.

Angelstartups: @excel12go,there are a few good businesses you could do that won't disturb your studies. But you must understand this, returns on investment come with risks on profit. 2 major classes of investment you can put your cash into: 1)Financial asset investment and 2)Non-financial asset invesment Under financial, you have money market e.g-fixed deposit, treasury bills, bonds. These are short-term and almost risk-free,with returns of say 5-15% per annum. There is also the capital market which is where companies stocks are traded. These are high-risk and meant for long-term purpose. You must understand the market or have someone that does-a financial adviser.
Then you have the non-financial where real commodities, products and services are traded. These can be for short-term or long-term based on your agreement with Partners. There is no guarantee of profits, however if you put your money with trusted partners who are willing to sign legal documents with you on your stake in their businesses and how much returns you will earn and when, then you are good to go as a dormant partner. You will only not take part in board decisions. If I may ask, which school are you? You can look at businesses such as Photocopier, and find a good location to place it and a honest staff to put in charge (ofcourse you will have to pay for space). You can talk to the porters in your hostel and put a PS3 there (fairly used),you can set up a Chicken n Chips kiosk on campus. You can partner with a honest friend if #50,000 won't be enough and you both own the business. There are many others. Thanks boss. I school in Ile-Ife; OAU to be precise |
