The U.S embassy does not honor personal invites - except if it’s business related. The general rule that every V.O must abide by is that the applicant is a migrant unless they are able to prove otherwise. I don’t work at the mission but I’m privy to contacts at the embassy and this is more in line with some of the advise I give my clients who are in a similar situation. Don’t get me wrong, you can secure a visa but with a different approach that’s less suspicious.
