Ur contact is missing. |
If changing the socks worked for you then you have nuffin to bother about. You can go see the physician when don't have a clue to how to stop the sensation. Happy for you. |

Get to the hosp cos when the more serious toxic symptoms arise you may not be able to handle it. Its good to disinfect though but time is important in patient care. |
If I may ask, what did the doctor say was wrong with them? |
Sorry about the delayed response. What you just explained has different sides to it and requires an out-patient clinical examination and few investigations. It could be as simple as the shoes u've worn over time; the in-sole of your shoes; the socks; your long period of standing or sitting; wet feet in shoes etc. It could also be some minor nerve issues and other systemic problems manifesting in that way. You can make effort to see a Family Physician who will do some examinations of the foot and send for some test which may include your blood sugar test amongst others. In all, its not sonething to worry so much about but getting to the root of the matter is important. Please see a Family Physician for assistance. Thanks. Feel free to ask anything not clear to you. |
From your discussion From other practitioners(inquiry, referral or recommendations) From the internet Hospital visits These are some of the ways to know the competence of the person you are dealing with. I just opened a topic for this same issue and I feel it's quite important. |
I am a doctor, doing this to help a large community of Nairalanders find the specific specialist they need to see (if they really need to see one) as one of the attributes of a trained 5-star doctor. Feel free to lay your complaints and I will tell you and probably assist in locating a specialist around for you. According to the medical ethics "beneficence" is what this is all about. NB: I will not at any point mention specific names on this forum but that can be done on one-on-one basis. |
You need a family physician or a general practitioner to tell you which doctor and whom to see for a particular illness except you have a diagnosis to work with. Where exactly are you if I can't be of help. |

@area boy: Cool. I'm really not the one buying but I use a V6 2005 accord Ex which I'll be disposing soon to buy another V6! The car neva had a cough. As per acura, its superb, both the sedan and the SUV. Got a 2002 acura too to sell off. All these cars had no single issues thru out d period of use. Helped a friend with an MDX 08 and d car drives really nice too. Good to have you here bro. Dat ur name sha......lips sealed. |
Fantastic contribution. I will also call your attention to the fact that taking a single sample for a complete review may not be absolute. Likewise we have to consider the mentality and definition of 'car servicing' in Nigeria (for an example). People around here hardly check there gear oil (at least), amongst other things to check on a car. I still stand by the V6 as all cars are proned to issues largely resulting from poor maintenance. Check out how many cars were re-called by toyota and that doesn't stop the 'low-mentality' of saying toyota is one of the most durable cars!!.(False!). Lack of expertise: a virus that has eaten so deep into our automoblie industry (a topic for discussion, I think).....lol. |
@sultaan,"minor issues" like......?if I may know, that makes one better than the other. |
Selling. |
Both are good only that if you want to buy a 'machine' the V6 is the way to go. The I4 only has a "minimal" advantage on fuel conservation. Both parts are available and affordable, relatively. |

By the way, thanks for the 'V' and 'I' correction. Good to learn. |
I sincerely agree with you. It's sad when educated people, that can search the internet and acquire enough knowledge, keep listening to a roadside mechanic who doesn't know what to say than what to eat! They have so made any other engine in a car sound like hell-on-earth because of their lack of technical know-how. I have a couple of friends using the V6 and never heard anything out of the normal. Thank God for the few good mechanics we have around now. |
Personally I have driven a V4 and also using a V6 Honda accord. V4 was 2003 model while V6 is a 2005 model. Against the usual scary stories about V6 EODs, amongst other cars, I seem to enjoy the V6 cruise and the maintenance seem not to differ from the V4. I want your own view please. Preferrably with facts. |
Calls or text messages or BB adds. Let's deal and u may be lucky. |
