If you had been kidnapped or any of your relatives has been kidnapped before you won't be talking about "protection" by the police.

A relative of mine escaped a kidnaping attempt some years ago, after he managed to run into the bush and he called,he was sure his life was over as he could hear them closing in on him, he was dropping his last words, he was telling me to take care of his family, I could hear gunshots in the background,

Fortunately for him the gunshots he was were that of the Nigerian Army and the kidnappers, the kidnappers were runnings towards his hiding place and they ran past him.
A lot of people who had ran into the bush were killed by the kidnappers before the soldiers could save them, he was lucky the kidnappers couldnt find him.
They resulted to killing their victims as soon as the soldiers arrived the scene.

I had made calls to say he might be dead after I head I gunshot not far from him and the line went dead.....

I wept like a child when he called back, I thought the kidnappers had caught him and we're calling for pay, but it was his voice on the other side of the phone.
