Then don't let some misunderstanding initiated by slightly incorrect understanding of the translation of the meaning get you. The phrase in Surah Tariq which has a literal translation of the meaning 'emerging from between the backbone and the ribs' is in regards to the position of the womb/uterus (which houses the baby all through gestation) and in essence the birth process.
