It is a league record. Use their league statistics. How would Ruud have scored more than 260 goals in the EPL when he didn't score up to that when you add his goals from the weaker Dutch top league and the useless Dutch 2nd division? Not logical.

If Rooney can score 200+ league goals in EPL, Van nistelrooy wud score more than 260 goals..........

Van nistelrooy scoring doesnt depend on the League(weak or strong), it depends on the caliber of players in the team to supply him.....he got 56 goals in 73 appearance in UCL to prove this (6th on all time UCL highest goal scorer)
