DeGea will always bring panic to that defence while defending cross in balls into our box. If he has not improved much after 9 years, he is not going to be superb in that important aspect of goalkeeping.

Some of the great saves he has made have been from cross in balls he ought to have dealt with initially. He stands routed on his line in a situation where Romero would have gone easily to punch away or VDS would have taken the cross like a kiss. Then when a shot is coming from a goal mouth scramble or a header he makes a great save. But Romero doesn't many of these situations because he picks the balls at first.

EPL oppositions know this weakness about DDG and have used it against us.

Go and dig out the post where I compare De gea to another keeper apart from Cech......if u can't do that, forget it....

The main comparison is between De gea of 2012- 2018 and De gea of 2018-2020...... I hope you understand now....

Someone made 7 errors leading to goals in 7 years, was in EPL team of the season 4 times, Man utd player of the season 3-4 times, best safe of the season 3-5 times, but now
7 errors leading to goals in less than 2 years, cant start at Spain, can't even position walls for freekick, ......and we are exagerrating

Cech might be better than him but the difference isn't much is what I'm saying. Capitalcee says him no do half of wetin cech do, which was my initial argument against him.
In terms of achievement, cech met a better team during his peak years compared to de gea, that's why he achieved more than him. Just like Valdez achieved more than cech, but that doesn't make him a good keeper like cech
