The transit system uses rubber wheels on a plastic core and has new technology copyrighted by the Chinese rail corporation. It means that the trains can be automatically guided without rails. It is set to be launched in the city of Zhuzhou in a bid to help traffic numbers in the area. According to reports, the new train is set to cost around the fifth of the price of a traditional subway system which usually costs around 400 million yuan to 700 yuan (£45.6 - £79 million). The track-less train is also said to have a life-span of around 25 years and is said to be non-polluting. The first car is just over 100 feet in length with a maximum passenger load of 307 people. It has a top speed of 70 kilometres an hour and after ten minutes of charging can travel 25 kilometres. The new system is set to go into operation fully next year. According to chief engineer Feng Jianghua, the train identifies the pavement and has various sensors to emit travel information to the train. This then enables the vehicle to follow guidance from the virtual track.

China is going for another world’s first with their new train design which mixes bus, tram and train all in one. Except instead of following the usual metal rails, it follows the dotted white lines painted on the road. China has unveiled a track-less train that runs on virtual rails in a bid to speed up public transportation in major cities. The new trains were announced on June 2 in Zhuzhou, China's Hunan province and are said to be non-polluting, reports the People's Daily Online. The Chinese rail corporation began designing the new system in 2013 and it is set to begin operating in 2018. http://www.boredpanda.com/art-train-virtual-tracks-crrc-china/ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/peoplesdaily/article-4565992/China-unveils-track-train-runs-virtual-rails.html Lalasticlala, Mynd44

When Stone asked Putin if there’s 'any hope of change' in relations between Washington and Moscow, the president replied: ‘There is always hope. Until they are ready to bring us to the cemetery and bury us.’ The Russian leader says that countries who join NATO inevitably become 'vassals' of the Americans. 'Once a country becomes a NATO member, it is hard to resist the pressures of the US. And all of a sudden any weapons system can be placed in this country. An anti-ballistic missile system, new military bases and if need be, new offensive systems,' Putin said. The president said that Russia’s actions are merely a response to what it sees as a more menacing threat from a NATO that is expanding toward its border. 'We have to aim our missile systems at facilities that are threatening us. The situation becomes more tense,' Putin said. 'I do my job and the Security Officers do theirs, and they are still performing quite successfully. ‘I trust them,’ Putin said of his security forces. ‘Those who are destined to be hanged are not going to drown,’ Putin said, quoting a Russian proverb.

War between the United States and Russia would result in a nuclear holocaust in which nobody would survive, Russian President Vladimir Putin told director Oliver Stone in an interview set to air on Showtime next week. In one of a series of interviews with American film director Oliver Stone, the Russian president said he believed nobody would make it if an all out nuclear conflict also known as “hot war” broke out. Mr Stone asked Mr Putin: “In a hot war is the US dominant?” The Russian leader replied: “I don’t think anyone would survive such a conflict.” http://www.newsweek.com/putin-warns-nobody-would-survive-us-russia-conflict-622276 http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/813968/vladimir-putin-donald-trump-nuclear-world-war-three-oliver-stone-interviews-showtime http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4583190/Putin-says-Russia-war-bring-nuclear-holocaust.html

xeexo:Sure, we're getting there soon. Ordinary animal o, and two Doctors will not be available to attend to humans giving birth in some countries. But some nurses can be so annoying, the way they treat women in labour. General/state hospitals most especially. I witnessed one, the lady was in labour but still in a ward before labour room, she was screaming in pains and some of the nursing there were seeing movies. One of them shouted the she should keep quiet, 'Se emi mo ran e ni se ni? Its sweet and you enjoyed it when you were doing it, so you should have prepared for the consequences ' A nurse said that, i was shocked that day. |
Kira, a 17-year-old gorilla, went into labor on Thursday but by Friday her baby had still not come. Gorilla births are usually quick, so Philadelphia Zoo brought in a team of experts. The experts included not just veterinarians, but also human ob-gyn doctors and other specialists. The baby (pictured) was delivered safe and sound. There have been several successful cesarean section deliveries for gorillas over the past few years, but assisted vaginal delivery isn't common, according to the zoo. The baby was born on Friday, a day after Kira went into labor, and was checked on and cared for a day before being released to its mother. The baby a boy is seen here after being cleaned. A doctor is checking his heartbeat with a stethoscope. The boy has a step-sister, Amani. They share a father, 32-year-old Motuba. The child and his mom were reunited on Saturday and have been inseparable ever since.

A gorilla at the Philadelphia Zoo has given birth to a healthy baby after a difficult labor that required medical techniques typically used for delivering humans. A keeper noticed 17-year-old Kira had gone into labor on Thursday. Gorilla labor is typically very quick, but by Friday, it had not progressed and she seemed unwell. Concerned about the health of Kira and her baby, the zoo brought in a team comprised of both veterinarians and doctors more accustomed to treating humans with incredible results. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4578520/Gorilla-gives-birth-help-doctors-treat-people.html
