Photography at its peak, the best ive ever seen. Behind the scene.
Perhaps if you look hard enough, you'll even find the wedding ring tree, too.
In Saelow's world of photography, love is beautiful and surreal.
The scenes range from loving to quirky to outrageous, all the while tracking the many stages of a couple's relationship: from date nights to engagements to wedding day nerves (see the picture of woman throwing a VW bus) to happy days long after the honeymoon.
Each photo is carefully staged and pieced together to showcase the couple's love story and their distinct personality as a pair.
To achieve his imaginative brand of absurdism, Saelow crops his subjects out of original photographs and inserts them into a small-scale landscape (such as a toy truck or a tree branch). He then applies a tilt-shift effect to create the illusion that the couple has shrunken to a plastic doll-like height of two inches. The result is a charming blend of humor and heart, offering a unique spin on traditional wedding photos. And, though the couples are physically small, the photos prove that their love remains mighty.
This so beautiful and amazing. In the surrealist world of Thai photographer Ekkachai Saelow, wedding rings grow on trees. His whimsical wedding photography business, literally translated as Small Person, transforms engaged couples and newlyweds into miniature versions of themselves, living in a more fantastical world. https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/my-modern-met-1170172/wedding-photographer-shrinks-couples-into-4990974519?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C9447381359 cc: Mynd44

The disaster was famously depicted in the 1997 film with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. A dramatic scene from the 1997 film Titanic as the ship sinks in the North Atlantic Ocean.
The Titanic sank on April 14, 1912, four days into its voyage from Southampton to New York The Titanic is pictured leaving Southampton on April 10, 1912, four days before it went down. 2,208 went on board(Crew and Passengers). 1,503 died. 962 lifeboat seats were required by law. 1,178 lifeboat seats were carried aboard. 2,208 lifeboat seats were needed. One of the first lifeboats to leave the Titanic carried only 28 people; it could have held 64 people. There were 472 lifeboat seats not used. There were enough life-jackets for all 2,208 people, and most everyone was wearing one. 300 dead bodies were pulled from the sea the next morning. They were found floating in their life-jackets. Many other floating bodies were not found because they had drifted off. Very few people actually went down with the ship. Most died and drifted away in their life-jackets. The temperature of the Atlantic at the time of sinking was 31 degrees. This temperature was the biggest cause of death among the population. Orders from the Captain were that, women and children were to board the lifeboats first.

To make it to the wreckage, the sightseers will fly by helicopter from Newfoundland to the expedition's support yacht in the cold and treacherous waters of the North Atlantic. After spending two days aboard the yacht, they will endure a five-hour dive to the decaying remains of the Titanic on the sea bed on a special 'submersible', designed to reach the immense depths. Here, accompanied by deep ocean experts, they will sail over the ship's deck and should be able to glimpse many of its most famous sights, including its famous grand staircase. The trip will be open to just nine people at a time and comes with an eye-watering price tag of £86,500 a ticket. The Cyclops 2 submersible can seat five people and dive to a depth of 13,124ft (4,000m). Only 140 people have completed the dive to see the Titanic's decaying remains in the century since the ship sank. The wreckage was not discovered until 1985, and the bow and the stern of the boat, which split in two as it was sinking, lie nearly 2,000ft apart on the ocean floor.
OceanGate, based in Everett, Washington, owns and operates two five-person submersibles but is building a new craft called Cyclops 2 (concept picture) to visit Titanic. Seating: Five people (one pilot and four crew) Depth: 13,124ft (4,000m) Dimensions: 22ft x 9.2ft x 8.3ft (6.7m x 2.8m x 2.5m) Crane Weight: 19,000 lbs (8,600 kg) Payload: 2,200 lbs (1,000 kg) Speed: Three knots Propulsion: Four Innerspace 1002 electric thrusters Standard life support: Eight hours (for five crew) Emergency life support: 96 hours (for five crew)

It is the shipwreck that continues to have untold fascination more than a century on. And now the wreckage of the RMS Titanic will be opened up to tourists at £86,500 per ticket for those willing to embark on the white-knuckle trip two miles under the sea in a mini-submarine. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4323084/Now-tour-Titanic.html

The design for the White House was chosen in a contest. The winner was Irishman James Hoban. His design was influenced by the Leinster House in Dublin.
In 1814, during the War of 1812, the White House was set ablaze by the British Army in the Burning of Washington, destroying the interior and charring much of the exterior. This was done in retaliation for burning Upper Canada’s Parliament Buildings in the Battle of York.
The White House receives approximately 6,000 visitors a day.
For recreation, the White House has a variety of facilities available to its residents, including a tennis court, Basketball court, jogging track, swimming pool, movie theater, and bowling lane. Pictured: Ex President Barack Obama playing basketball with members of Congress and Cabinet secretaries.
At various times, the house and grounds have been totally open to the public. Thomas Jefferson put artifacts on the lawn for peoples’ enjoyment, Grover Cleveland’s nanny used to walk his daughter Ruth among the masses on the South Lawn, and Warren Harding left the gates open for anyone to stroll around. Now, the property is completely gated off and some surrounding streets are closed to traffic.
It's the only private residence of a head of state that the public can visit for free. Visitors do have to request and book tours in advance, though.
The first family actually has to pay for their food. They don’t pay rent, but food and grocery expenses, in addition to things like toiletries and dry cleaning, are taken out of the president’s salary annually. This is a view of the White House kitchen circa 1892.
The Oval Office wasn’t put in until 1913.
It was indeed built by slaves. Michelle Obama was right, D.C. commissioners had slaves, in addition to white laborers and European immigrants, construct the president’s house.
