Lalaski001: Amen O.
No, they don't take passport again I think. You will be asked to bring it when the AM drops.
Yea, my transcript is long, I just wanted to give all the details. I laughed too when I saw how long it was after posting it. Okay, I wish you the best Bro |

Lalaski001: My Transcript.
Had my interview today. I got to the embassy around 5:40am, I met just one person on the queue.
Mr. Paulinus arrived around 6:30 am, and by 7am, they called the first four student visa applicants to come forward.
We were asked to switch off our phones and he gave the four of us 3 chairs each to arrange our documents in the order he was going to call it out.
Immediately he started, he noticed the first guy wasn't really fast, he just started shouting at the guy, telling him that it's like he doesn't want to do his interview today.
From the info i got here, I already knew what to expect and I arranged by documents properly before going to the embassy.
Mr. Paulinus really frustrated the other guys that came out with me. He even threatened to send them out. Me I was just focused, before he even finish mentioning the next document I have already brought it out. He was now telling the other guys why can't they be as organised as me. Honestly, that man puts too much pressure on people, the time he uses to shout can be used to tell them what he needs them to do. You just hv to be very organised and fast to avoid his wahala.
He left the other guys and asked me to go in for the next stage.
I went in, sat for about 20 minutes then one guy and another lady that came for family reunion joined me. after like five minutes, they took the 3 of us to another building inside the compound for out interview.
We waited for some minutes then they asked us to go inside 3 diffent rooms for the interview.
Me: Good morning. VO: Good morning. VO: Have you traveled before? Me: Yes VO: Have you funded? Me: No. she gave me a form to sign and asked me to make sure I fund as soon as possible. VO: What course? Me: Told her Vo: What school? Me: Told her.
She now went on to complete my biometric.
VO: Lets begin the Interview now. Me: Ok Ma VO: Why this course? I was about dealing with the question when the VO told me that I should just give her a very brief answer, so I shortened my answer.
Vo: Why Germany? Me: Told Her. she asked me to keep my answers short again.
Vo: Why not UK, US or Canada? Me: Told her, had to give her a direct and short answer cuz that's what she said she wants.
VO: What do you know about Germany? please just the key points only. Me, I mentioned while she types. VO: Have you been to Germany or Any European countries before? Me: Germany, No, Another European country yes, I mentioned the country. Vo: What your plans after your studies? Me: Told her.
Vo: What's your Bsc. thesis? Me: Told her.
Vo: That will be all, my office will contact you via male, have a nice day. Me: Enjoy the rest of your day.
My personal observation: I spent about 50 minutes with her. most of the time was used by her for typing in my answers.
It seems they have a lot of applications to attend to, hence why she told me from the get go to make my answers very short.
If you answer your questions confidently, they will most likely not give you a test even if they have time for it.
Be calm, the Interview is actually easy to pass through. Congratulations Mr Lalaski, as you have passed through the interview stage, so shall you receive your AM with ease. But your transcript long oooo Did you drop your International Passport to the VO? |

@Jigba, Is it permitted for an International student to render service to the Germans and get paid with the service rendered.
Can a student carry out his photography skills by taking some nice shots? I would appreciate it if an answer is given to this question |

luckyimf: Good evening All, l am a newbie on this platform however l have been an avid reader since 2013. l got admission at Albert-Ludwigs University Freiburg last month and l equally booked for interview appointment dated 19th June 2018. However, from the current analysis, l strongly believe that the aforesaid date(19th June 2018) will be declare public Holiday to mark the end of this Muslims fasting. My question is this: Will German embassy reschedule my appointment or what will be my fate? Any precedent on this subject matter as it relates to public Holiday/Interview date. Lastly, will the embassy honor the date. Please your response is highly needed to allay my repeated worries. The public holiday to mark the end of Ramadan is not gonna be declared on the 19th of June but one of these dates(15th/16th June, 2018) is gonna be the day of Eid-el-fitr. So don't be bothered with that as your interview will be conducted that day. |

peemyke: I heard they've started processing student visa in Abuja too. so are they giving Abuja or Lagos based on residential address? Or do I need to input the location needed during application? Input the residential address which you used for the application. Don't use any other address cos it might boomerang if they notice there's a difference in the addresses you gave to them. |

So I have applied to Hochshule Fresenius (private university) for a masters degree in the Winter semester starting September and the response is a good one, in fact the Admission personnel sent some visa requirements documents to me and told me to seek information in my German Emassy as soon as possible, as time is running out. I have been scheduled for a skype interview next week with the school.
Please while waiting what do you advise i do that will help fast track the visa process, and what is the first thing i should do immediately i get the admission letter from school.
Thank you. Immediately you get the admission letter from the school, open a blocked account on www.fintiba.com.Afterwards, you will be given an account details. Make sure you give a valid email address where fintiba can easily communicate with you. Once you get the account details from fintiba, book for an appointment through your mailbox by attaching the following documents: 1. Admission letter 2. Fintiba account details (a downloaded copy sent by Fintiba) 3. Passport page (International Passport) Type your name & the Residential address then send it to this email address: student@lago.diplo.de You will get a reply from the German embassy where you will be given a date for your visa interview. Spylord48: I am in your shoes though mine is almost getting to two years. My own life has been filled with hope only for the hope to dash at the end. 2017 was full of promises for me but it all ended in disappointments when I discovered that those that promised me job were only playing with me and want to delay me and when I noticed it,it was too late as I missed some golden chances. My life is full of regrets for trusting on people so much and it is painful. I am just trying to see if I can get something doing this Jan if not I will go and learn shoe making or tailoring as a skill while still having hope for a better tomorrow. Learn something that will make you busy throughout the whole week. If you go to work from Monday to Friday, you will still be busy fetching money during the weekend. Here are what to learn: - Decorations - Wedding Photography - Events Planning & Management - Cake Baking You will thank me for sharing this information |

I feel for you Bro, the little piece of advise I have for you is to go out to acquire some skills & forget about white collar job in this country of ours. The government are not ready to help the youths then why don't we help ourselves by being creative & be our own Boss. Besides, It is good to be an employer of jobs rather than being an employee in a company where one small boy will give you directives. You may chat me up on whatsapp +2348127409942 for more discussion on what to learn which will be lucrative for u at the end of the day. I wish you all the best Bro. |
