Insecurity is a bane in our society, arm robbery been a part is a major problem in our highways and local areas especially during the festive period.
This is the case in Okigwe town in Imo state, except for the fact that it is incessant; the robbery has been going on for long and nothing tangible has been done about it.
Once in a while I visit my relations resident here (Okigwe) and they have been complaining of this ugly situation but I didn't experience any of it until this morning around 4 am when they stormed a neighbours house (In Ojukwu street) and did what they know how to do without any resistance. What baffled me was that it seems these robber are confident in what they do; like they maintain the 4 am thing and they blow whistle whenever they arrive. Such actions made me term them amateurs and clueless but my claim was countered by my aunt who said ''they maintain the time because they had little or no opposition as the weak vigilante group could be asleep or not around by that time and that they blow the whistle to warn possible intruders of their presence to avoid their wrath. I couldn't make any meaning out of this and my aunt kept saying they were craft and swift.
I implore the security agencies (Vigilantee, Police and even the military) to be proactive as to curtail the activities of these men. I say this because the response of the police this morning was poor; they came only when the robbers left.

This indeed is an interesting story. So it is safe to assume, the woman has lost a husband, and it is safe to say the Pastor has not only lost his Job as a Pastor,but his wife too. I still wonder what transpired between this husband and wife?did he threaten her with divorce?was he doing other "females" in the Church?or was she arrested by the "Holy Ghost"? questions and questions.

Lessons to be learned here, by men who blab all their secrets to their wives/girlfriends, just learn how to shut up, even if the food and sex is good.

Now, back to this Pastor. I am always amazed when i hear there are actual men, who make a living using the Lord's name. I am not even Born Again, but the name of God scares me silly, and that is why i am always puzzled when i see people using his name for gains.

It had to come an ending anyway(life as a fake pastor), like everything in life usually does. But, i am assuming anybody that can master nearly all the Verses and Chapters in the Bible, and can preach very well, shows a degree of intelligence.

So, why can't this fake pastors use their intelligence for something meaningful?

We Nairalanders especially know what it is to get a CAREER job these days.

After years of thinking, wishing and hoping, I got a job about 4months ago in lagos.

I happily relocated from warri to Lagos in order to start the job.

Sadly, not upto 4 months, I lost the job for strange reasons I just could not understand. The HR started giving me motivational talks that "not that i'm not capable but they have reasons to reduce staff strength... bla bla bla".

It was a fair enough job and I had to start from square 1.

I was just thinking why would God grant me a job and I happily announced it to everyone, relocated to far Lagos and just to loose the job within 2 months.

In all these, God was preparing a plate of fries rice and salad for me.


About 3weeks ago, I posted on nairaland that I was at an interview in VI and that I needed some likes for goodluck.

Today, I just got a new job as an Officer 1 in a leading company in Nigeria at VI.

I know as a lot of Job testimonies are trailing on Nairaland, yours will certainly be next.

Job testimonies will begin to occupy front page even more than celebrity stories.

It then means we vote party and not credibility even in this political dispensation. We need to come out of darkness and c the marvelous light. Sentiment doesn't favour democracy.

Naija Judiciary system is a mess. They will keep adjourning till the case is forgotten; that is what happens when a big fish is involved. Sometimes I wonder the version of democracy we are practicing here.

There is nothing wrong in he (David Mark) contesting 4 d 5th time; it is constitutional. But I have this to say concerning the Idoma nation, haven lived with them for quite sometime. THE IDOMAS ARE FULL OF MEDIOCRITY, ALWAYS FEELING INFERIOR DESPITE THEIR EDUCATION AND WHAT NATURE HAS BLESSED THEM WITH... AND THAT IS WHY THE TIV NATION WILL KEEP MARGINALIZING THEM. THEY THINK THEY CAN NOT DO WITHOUT DAVID MARK COS HE BROUGHT THEM TO NATIONAL PROMINENCE. APART FROM THE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME, I'VE NOT SEEN ANY OTHER IMPACT IN THAT ZONE ( I STAND TO BE CORRECTED THOUGH). No Federal project, u hardly see any completed State project.
