This man is a criminal and this is a scam. I called him. He is a smooth talker with a local accent. He tried to lure me into paying into his account for "the dog he will send the following night". He will try to talk you into paying into his account. He is one crazy fool. Bite his bait to your own peril. 1 Like 1 Share |

Agriculture / Re: Strange Spider In My Backyard by EyesulO(m): 6:24pm On Oct 03, 2016 |
So I decided to kill this spider last two weeks....well , I felt bad I was just going to destroy the creature just like that. That feeling coupled with the fact that I googled it up and found it was not poisonous made me allow this creature live a little longer as I observed it with keen interest...from a distance...of course. And I discovered the following interesting things... 1. This creature feels threatened by human presence. You know that theory about humans being at the top of the food chain? Exactly! We are not the only who know that fact, animals know it too. This spider knows it very well and it shows it. How...you ask? The other day I decided to kill it. I thought of plucking it's web off little by little. The moment I started, the spider started to shake the entire web vigorously. That kind of movement that says "Watch me I am powerful, I can shake this entire place". The more I plucked, the more it shook. It was a show of power. If only it knew I was carrying an insecticide...mtschew I shook my head, I had mercy on the thing. 2. Ok, so humans have comfort zone in their homes. Like the sitting room, in front of cable TV...like that. This creature has a cable TV spot too...right at the centre of it's web. After observing it for days, I realised, its most comfortable spot is the centre of its complex network of webs. I really don't know the science behind this behaviour but I believe their must be an explanation somehow So that we can appreciate the true size of this creature, I tried to take another shot of it with something to scale it with. My wife hasn't gone to the backyard for 4weeks now, I don't know why Maybe I will kill it next week

Agriculture / Strange Spider In My Backyard by EyesulO(m): 6:33pm On Sep 25, 2016 |
I know this isn't National Geographic or Discovery Channel but I will really like to document this strange but marvellous creature I found in my backyard. I don't know what type of spider this is but what it's called is not as striking as its amazing features. My first encounter with it was when I ran into its web on my way to turn on my generator late at night. Twice, i was visibly thrown off balance when strong cobwebs stopped me in my tracks. Not exaggerating, the web is strong enough to remove a loose facecap from a person's head not because it is plenty but because each strand is very tough indeed. See the picture I took with an envelope hanging from its web attached. What has stopped me from zapping this interesting creature with an insecticide for two weeks now is its golden yellow coloured web. You can see its golden web in the picture taken if you look closely. It shines golden yellow at all times of the day including nights. Now that is not very common. All I read on Wikipedia said some spiders spin webs that shine gold in sunlight so as to attract insects to them. Not this one, golden yellow is normal, sunlight refection is...well...icing on the cake. Another thing is it's size. It is not in the league of those tiny spiders you see spinning from every ceiling o. That thing is bigger than a full grown cockroach. My crappy camera did not take precise shot from the distance I was. Yes!...i stood at a distance! If it was you nko? Should this spider spread out completely, its full length will span the palm of a grown man. I saw it capture and feed on an adult cockroach ones. Yes I have researched it, it is not on the list of poisonous spiders...who knows it might be on the list of the ones they are yet to discover I keep my distance. Long story short...this is Nigeria not some Amazon forest Even seeing cobwebs in front of your door is seen as bad luck not to now talk of the one that is strong enough to remove a facecap That sounds like being super jinxed. I am zapping the poor guy in a few hours. Has anyone seen this type before?

Health / Heart Health Gifts To Try In 2016 by EyesulO(m): 9:26pm On Jan 09, 2016 |
170 over 90! My heart sank but I held my peace to check a second time. 170 over 89! My fear was confirmed- my boisterous and lively mother is hypertensive. It was good we detected it early though. She was not even feeling sick or less active when I ran the blood pressure check with the home blood pressure monitor. Any result higher than 135 over 85 in home blood pressure monitoring is not good. High blood pressure is a silent killer as it can go undetected until a person comes down with a stroke, organ failure or in many cases sudden death. As if my mother was dying already, I lost my peace for the rest of the day till I found the solution to keep her blood pressure under control. I will advise here that self medication is an absolute NO in blood pressure management, you see a trained and qualified medical practitioner (not a traditional doctor, herbalist or even your spiritual leader except he or she is a trained medical practitioner) immediately. When proper medication has been administered I will suggest a couple of things you should have to keep the heart healthy and the blood pressure controlled. Cardioace original or plus- 2-3 tablets a day with your meal will supply 97-100% of all you need to keep your heart functioning well and your blood circulating properly. The long term effect of taking this supplement is awesome! I got the Cardioace Plus for my mum. Blood Pressure Monitor - You need your own blood pressure monitor! You need to be sure your medication is working by checking yourself at home. The blood pressure didn't show any sign when it was up, it may still not show any sign except you check with the monitor. I will advise you to get a trusted brand like the one I have up here. Finally, you need to know what other changes you might need to make in your lifestyle to keep you away from heart problems so we have included a FREE manual and guide(see attached pictures) to heart health in every heart health pack you buy from us Remember, it is CHEAPER to maintain a healthy heart than to recover from a STROKE , ORGAN FAILURE or a SICK HEART. Family / Help Someone With Bad Breath This Christmas! by EyesulO(m): 2:52am On Dec 21, 2015 |
Bad Breath! Do you know anyone who you just keep away from because of their repulsive oral malodour. I mean the odour can move mountains. Now think of having to share the same microphone with them to backup songs in a choir...trouble! Bad breath can cause people to lose favour, confidence, friends and...just about anything except your pet dog. Regrettably, that person can be a close member of your family, so what do you do? Please take the following steps 1. Tell them the truth! Don't just hold your breath around them. Make them see with open, not subtle, gesture that they are making people uncomfortable because of the odour they give. Use humour if you can. Be careful if it is your boss o! 2. Suggest a quick fix e.g chewing gum, breath mint e.t.c This might be more appropriate in a corporate setting where you can't tell the person to go and brush up. It is a temporary fix though so keep enough gum around to help this person. I always keep this breath helps in my car so I can help out. I am not rolling my windows down for any reason. 3. Gift a solution You can gift a breath pack to help this person. Now, Health in-a Pack has this subtle gift pack you can give away. It contains a month's supply of everything a person needs to keep oral malodour away; Toothpastes, Toothbrushes, Tongue Cleaners, Mouthwash, Dental Floss, Literature on Bad breath and more. You can give this away in a "disguised" Christmas Health Hamper this season. A lady once lost out her fiance because of Bad breath...want to hear a story? We get wiser everyday. I thought of giving my pastor a hamper for teaching and guiding me through the tough times this year. As I saw other hampers roll in. I didn't want to join the wagon yet I wanted to show some appreciation. Then I stumbled on these guys on the internet and they did a fantastic job. I was impressed with their creativity and more importantly I got everything I wanted and more for just the right price. I want to give them some props and, just maybe, there may be someone here who will want a different choice of gift too.

Travel / Re: 5 Things Not To Do In A Lagos Mainland Taxi by EyesulO(m): 2:31am On Nov 07, 2015 |
I remember my wife asking a mainland taxi driver why he was moving too slow when we'd almost missed our flight out of Lagos last year. The conversation that ensued went like Mainland Driver: In very clean english "Look at my face well...do I look like a small child?" "Is that how to talk to an elderly person?" In my mind I was like "we're telling you you are slow, you are asking us if you are a child" At this point my Akwa Ibom wife was already red hot with anger. She continued My Wife: "If I am paying you to get me to the airport on time so I don't miss my flight and you are slow, I don't care how old you are!" She quickly replied with a stronger tone and cleaner english You know that time when you want to use perfect english to make the other person feel bad. Mainland Driver: "It is like they didn't teach you manners where you came from" I had to cut in at this point with a firmer voice. Me: "Baba iyen lan ba yin so ni"(Baba is that what we are talking about here) I continued "Ani ke rin le, e n so fun wa pe e ti dagba"(We are telling you to hurry up, you are telling us you are old) "Se oro ni yen?"(Does that make sense?) He mumbled some words in anger and kept quiet. It seemed he had put everything behind him. Then the vehicle became slow and slower...and slower still, then it stopped. It was like 40 minutes to the end of check in at the airport. With traffic and everything, we were 50 minutes away from the airport. Then I started begging my wife not to say a word again... Somehow, we made the flight, thanks to a God-sent mainland taxi driver. He looked even more rugged than the first but he was younger and lot more understanding. He drove for every dime he was worth As I handed him the fare, he quickly responded "Oga I no get change o!" It must have been up to 500 naira, can't remember, It could even have been 2000naira. I didn't care, it was insignificant compared to the joy of arriving on time. "Guy keep the change". We raced to the counter 2 Likes |
