Please permit me to briefly enlighten you on the political composition of power in Imo state presently. I think its a bit of a misnomer to categorically label Imo state an apc state. The two seats controlled in the state by the apc are the governor and his deputy.
The Pdp controls the three senatorial seats(chief sam-daddy anyanwu, chief hope uzodinma and chief athan achalonu aka one-arm general). And their victory over the apc candidates hand picked by rochas were overwhelming!
As for the over 10 house of reps seats,the Apc controls just two(chika okafor and one other guy).
Even within the cabinet of the governor,the apc is shrinking on a daily basis because the whole party structure is being centred around rochas' family to the exclusion of the wider party.
Come 2019,it will be the pdp led people against rochas family and inlaws.

But after the election,the PDP won the presidency and the majority and all the yorubas now remembered that Obj whom they earlier rejected as being non-yoruba by blood but who won on the support of the south east and south-south now became their illustrious son once again and before we could say 'jack' they had all decamped to the Pdp,leaving only Bola Tinubu of Lagos state in opposition.
So why are you now offended that a few politicians in igbo land are doing what the whole politicians in yoruba land did?

Its sad that we live in a country where a governor will receive allocation to build hospitals in his state and he'll steal it but when sick,he'll fly to a country where its own governor didn't steal the funds but built its hospitals.
...Where a governor will divert the funds meant for the development of his state's schools but when its time for school,he'll send his kids to that country where the governor invested his in his state's and country's education.
...Where a governor will pocket the security vote but hide his own family members in the country where the leaders used the security votes to equip their security forces.

Sadly,for every money stolen from here and sent abroad,we increase the receiving banks' liquidity position which enables them to fund developmental projects in their economy at the detriment of ours. It will be mind boggling to know how much development our leaders in Nigeria are bringing to these western nations.
And sadly,for every politician that dies,we lose millions of naira and dollars that may never be found and returned to us again,so that becomes free funds for those banks to reinvest in whatever they deem fit in their economy.
