I guess the house is tired of playing host to a bunch of unemployed, idle and lazy youths who want to make money in a show that lacks objective, focus and purpose, hence some thus resort to immoral acts to attract viewers votes. The house has seen enough and decided to take its own life. |
I have a close friend who happens to be a political ally of Orji Uzor Kalu. He always describe Orji Uzor as thus: 'A man who will go out to eat with you,he will order for every good thing to eat and you order a little quantity of a lesser different food. Once it seems like you are enjoying yours,he'll all of a sudden want you to add some of yours to his dish'. His greed has entered a spiritual level. It can only be cured by deliverance. |
Qelvin: This is where the air force come into play, while the ground troops are busy consolidating their hold and tactically mopping up areas...the boys in the air should hunt down those bastards and unleash any venom the fighter jets can muster...give no room for the insurgents to even pause for breath...one crucial lesson in war is to never give a second of respite to a demoralized enemy, sap every bit of strength he has left and leave no stones unturned...cause a recuperating enemy is a very dangerous oneOur Air force has been useless in this whole fight. Imagine if these BH were bombarded from air when they were retreating, they would have been completely dealt with. Nobody gets to see or hear of the efforts of the Nigerian Air Force in this fight. They should be the ones leading this fight with shelling while the army takes strategic position to finish those trying to escape. |
This goes to justify the saying that 'every country deserves the kind of leadership it had'. Look at Libya today, weren't these rebel groups unheard of during the time of Mahman Ghaddafi? What of Iraq? Where was the ISIS and other terrorist groups when Saddam Hussien was in authority? None of them dared coughed. Where was the muslim brotherhood when Hosni Bubarak held sway in Eygpt. Even in Nigeria, where was Boko haram when Obj was holding sway? These leaders were called tyrants, they ruled with iron hands. Today we all can see why they had to be tough, now they are no longer there and these monsters have raised their ugly heads, killing and destroying lives and properties. Sometimes, there are reasons why the leader must be authocratic. |
Now that Boko Haram has released their men to Bama to over run the town and take over,I believe another battalion of troops should be sent to Gworza right now to attack whoever they left behind. The surprise element will work in their favour. Also, now that these Boko haram has relocated from sambisa forest to gworza and the neighbouring villages,over-running these towns will easily see to the release of the chibok girls;atleast they are no more in the forests. Meanwhile, what is the air force doing in this whole fight? I haven't heard of any air raid or even shelling of any boko haram camp, yet when the president calls for a security council meeting, they will show up. I don't understand how these insurgents will travel for hours on the road to settle in their 'conquered' villages, making themselves easy prey for an airstrike, yet nothing is heard from the airforce. They should be the ones leading the attack by air while the artillery and infant battalions(combatant foot soliders) take strategic positions for those who might be fleeing from the shelling. |
No price(negotiable)? No photo of the interior? Auto or Manual? |
Buhari cried because he looked up and saw your diction and tense! |
I hope the cars destroyed in the LATSMA premises are those belonging to latsma staff, not innocent victims cars impounded. But that was a bit foolish of the Latsma staff, you see well armed and over zealous officials storming your office in three vehicles, and nothing tells you that they are not there to pay the fine, why still bother telling them the process of 'bailing' their car. Common sense dictates that you should have tactically released the car to them and let that one go! Anyway, those Mile 2 latsma people have become Lords who nobody controls on tha axis. |
I hope everybody is seeing what this man is doing with Imo state funds. |
What is it with India and all these odd and strange illnesses. These people should forsake all these idols and strange demons they worship, those things are only visiting them with strange afflictions. |
...In other words,he's PDP. |

There's one line that gets Nigerian ladies blushing and it goes thus: 'send me your account number'. |
Oga Uche. I see you sir. |
In recent years some educated families have taken the option of monetising those items on the list, especially when the guests are coming from a long distance or don't have much time. That way the girl's family simply use the money to buy the things that will be distributed as customs dictate. However,it is always the option of the groom to suggest or accept. If he's not okay by him,he has the full right to reject and purchase the items himself. The side effect of that monetised option is it takes away the razzmatazz and glamour of a full traditional wedding, but most busy couples(or abroadee couples who have limited time to spend in the country) use that option. |
alienvirus: "I got never an official answer," he said. "They are friendly but nobody answers your questions."He's still wondering why he was denied entry, with a face like this. Okay keep waiting for an answer. |
Sunshinelady: . Den y did ur NMA president resign? The NMA president resigned because his Fellow NMA exco believed he had been compromised by the Federal government. Note his fellow NMA exco. Most of these exco are made up of consultants, professors and Reputable practicioners who have their own private clinics and other means of income. Jonathan did not go after them but instead went after their subordinates who are just sub-ordinates to the policy makers. So now,the people who initiated the strike get to keep their jobs while the Residents who don't have much say in NMA get to lose their job. Are you seeing the irony? |
Most people who have commented on the recent sack of the resident doctors by President Jonathan do not understand how wrong he got it. Firstly, the strike was not embarked upon by the Resident Doctors(governed under NARD) but by the Nigerian Medical Association which happens to be the parent body of all medical practitioners. The resident doctors in all Teaching Hospitals are the engine room of the hospital, the Consultants are merely supervisors. The president should have gone for the job of the consultants and M.O's who are the primarily the leaders of NMA,not the residents. To illustrate, its like ASUU being on strike and the president decides to sack only junior lecturers leaving the senior lecturers and profs that control ASUU. Secondly, since residency program was the reason why Teaching hospitals were created, since the program has been suspended indefinitely it means that every Teaching Hospital should also be shut down indefinitely. Thirdly, this indefinite suspension also included House officers! What he doesn't know is that house job is a compulsory one year program which every medical student MUST undertake before he or she graduates fully to become a medical doctor. By doing this,he has automatically suspended the graduation of all final year medical students nationwide! |
uncleu: Resident doctors in Nigeria tend to forget that they are in for short training program. They are not indispensable. The consultants can run any hospital with house officers and medical officers. There are thousands of young doctors with primaries waiting and looking for places to do residency. Lift this suspension after six months, throw application process open to everybody and see if resident doctors will go on strike again.Aren't you myopic? Have you forgotten that it isn't the Resident Doctors that started the strike but the parent body,NMA which include the consultants,House officers and the Medical Officers you mentioned. Learn to think broad before you speak,if not you'll sound more stupid. |
hungryboy: All ye people from the ebola headquarters of Nigeria Lagos abeg make una no carry am enter Calabar ohI hope you are aware that Patrick sawyer was headed to calabar with the ebola when they in Lagos held him down. So if you had any iota of sense in you,you would be praying and thanking those in Lagos for saving you in calabar, rather than speaking a child which I bet you are. |
@Ops,you can be rest assured that am not clicking that your link to read that trash. Try next door. |
Please let's not bring the drug to disrepute simply because it was developed by a Nigerian. This is a cheering news coming from a Nigerian. Am one of those who still believe that we can do even better than the americans, europeans and the rest of the western world. |
What has the president said here that is warranting this insults? Let us be sincere here, anyone attacking the president on this should ask himself this: would there be a free and fair election if Tinubu was at the helm of affairs in this nation? Can Tinubu be in power and not rig the election? Anybody attacking this statement is either an APC apologist, not being truthful to himself or is just a slowpoke. |
Why is it that these news enjoy stating that the army is losing the fight? Did anyone else notice that this news carefully avoided giving us any news on the loss suffered by boko haram? Even the headline is suggestive 'many soliders die'. Let's stop this calamity news we enjoy spreading. |
Mr brotherhood, You must be a very good man. So good that you decided to share this wealth and power with people you don't know when you yourself is not known to be rich or pwerful anywhere. So good that you skipped your own brothers and sisters and relations to seek total strangers whom you'll make rich and powerful. You are really a good man indeed. |
The politics behind this ebola drug has clearly demonstrated the kind of 'love' relationship the America and the western world have towards Africa and Africans. US has given many excuses why the drug can not be extended to Africa, ranging from not certified fit for human use to not in commercial quantity yet to the recent statement that the drug has finished(so I wonder where the one they just sent to spain appeared from). Already the share prices of these pharmaceutical firms have been going up astronomically on the floor of their stock exchange. Its purely business for them and they will not release these drugs yet until Africa get to the stage the price will go to the highest bidder. Asian pharmaceutical firms have already swung into action to finding a reliable cure to this dreaded disease. I advocate that African leaders should rather work on developing a stronger tie and bi-lateral relationship with the Asians in the area of finding the cure and every other area of interest. Let's play down this over dependence on America and rather strengthen ties with the Asians. We know those that are our friends. |
Its actually because a banker wakes up very early in the morning, drives to his branch, parks the car till around 7pm when he takes it home. So if a banker has used a car for 3years,its probably a cumulative of a few months. |
This shows that it takes only 1 weekend to start and complete a movie of part 1 and part 2 in Nollywood. Sad! |
