One will think they converged for the interest of the common man or to seek ways to end the sufferings imposed on the people by their useless govt, instead they are there to plot how to remove one single man for their selfish interest |
Temilola01:Confirm that its his via a DNA test. If its his, accept the kid. That may be the nemesis that needs to be broken for you to start having your own kids. |
joborskill:I need you to be honest. Are you from lagos state? |
KINGinVAHALA:Just like its laughable and disheartening that your likes left the well read cv of a PHD holder in the person of Goodluck Jonathan to vote a primary school dunce(since he has no waec) whose last result was FSLC and a promisory note by his principal that he will write waec(and he never did). A man whom till dat has not improved on himself. If you see that as okay but yet emphasize qualifications here, then you are a hypocrite |
Bolustic:And the man they want to replace ekweremadu with is from where? The answer will show you how stupid you are? Go to all the parks you mentioned and see how many buses that leave for the east every morning. They make the money here and 'repatriate' it back home for development. So you see why you are the fool? Just know this,in the short run,an igbo might appear like the fool, but in the long run,you were the fool. |
Somebody should tell sherriff to let go. |
The pix is self explanatory |
Its in the best interest of Nigeria that Buhari dies. Harsh but true |
This community must be a God fearing one. He doesn't look anything like the lynched ones we've been seeing in recent time on Nairaland |
pukena:Youngman, out of curiosity, what eventually happened? How did you handle this dilemma? |
nzemila:Let me educate you a bit. Check the last one year of apc. The only election that was started and concluded in a day was that of Benue senate held last saturday and that's because apc was barred from contesting. Every other election had been inconclusive until apc won. Look at rivers re-run. The people came out massively and fought for their votes and when it became obvious that pdp had the day, they declared it inconclusive till date, announcing only the one apc candidate won in ikwerre. As for imo state you spoke of,are you aware that this rerun is the 3rd time this particular election is being held and on the 1st two,the pdp candidate won or was leading till it was called off. In the same imo state, about 3seats where being contested with the okigwe senate seat election. All of them were declared inconclusive apart from owerri west state house where the apc candidate was declared winner. And coming back to the okigwe senate election, the people on ground complained of massive collusion of apc govt with inec staff. How come that in the past reruns they cancelled the entire election when pdp was winning but in this one, they adopted the results figures to stand and fixed a rerun for a few polls. Why not cancel all as they did in the past? In rivers state, why did they cancel all and fixed a rerun for the 3senate seats, why didn't they adopt the results of the peaceful polling units? Recently, some councillorship polls were held for abuja municipal. The more popular candidate was in apga and as the results were being counted,it became obvious that he was going to win and the inec returning officer received a phone call from an apc minister and instantly wanted to declare the election inconclusive siting violence in some units. The party agent on sensing danger raised alarm and the voters who knew such were bound to happen made their way into the inec office. The inec man wanted to cancel the entire election but he was forced to atleast declare the ones done peacefully and then fix a rerun for the outstanding units. And at the rerun, adamu mustafa of apga still won and was sworn in. You can google it. I can give you many more instances. As for your insults,I forgive you,it goes with the exhuberance of your age |
They have not finished perfecting the strategy to rig it for APC like they did in Imo state. The new modus operandi of INEC is to keep rerunning a single election until apc wins it. But if apc wins, the result is instantly concluded and declared |
Story |
Nigerians don't know this but most of the appointees in this govt are not actually living in Nigeria |
I have not seen light for the past 2days and am under ikedc |
#buharimustgo |
So the younger brother of the APC candidate stepped down to join forces with the PDP candidate? This should be news worthy of Frontpage. I hope lalasticlala,mynd44 and co sees to it cos it seems that its only news that favour Apc in Edo that hits the font page instantly. |
Why is it that every news that has to do with APC govt anywhere has to do with victimization and impoverishment of their people? God,please return this people to opposition party. I believe apc was sent to punish the people |
I have it on good authority that most of the party men and kitchen cabinet around Buhari are actually disappointed and fed up with him but can't voice it yet because 2019 is still far. Some of them fear that showing their contempt againt Buhari might fetch them EFCC and DSS disturbance. But it will become clear as 2018 draws closer. And this discontent is across regions and geo-political zones. There are many of those who are with Buhari that clearly feel as this writer. They now see kinsmen who did not do jack for the president's victory calling the shots. Has anyone noticed that by Atiku and even Ribadu's recent body languages, its getting clearer that APC may be tacitly looking for Buhari's substitute for 2019. |
Did anybody notice that the election was concluded within a day? That's because APC wasn't part of it. INEC had no choice but to start and finish it. The new modus operandi of INEC under this govt is to keep declaring an election inconclusive and re-running it until APC wins. |
Am not saying they rigged or not but isn't it rather strange that the APC man polled a round figure of 5000 votes in election that recorded very low turnout. Meanwhile, why is it that wherever the APC candidate 'won',it was instantly declared but other areas where PDP was touted to have massive support was declared inconclusive. ....Just asking |
aresa:Since 1960,Which tribe in nigeria vote for only their brother? Yoruba. Go and check it. Atleast, hausas even voted OBj in 1999 and GEJ in 2011(with few to CPC). |
I don't blame EL-Rufai,that's who he is. He has never hidden it. I blame those who voted him and thought he has changed. |
Actually, she was working for Ben Uwajumogu, the apc senatorial candidate. The imo election was actually a war between the people(for pdp) and the rigging powers(for rochas and apc). While the pdp candidates were meeting the people during the campaign, the apc candidates were strengthening their rigging machinery, buying over the inec officers, deploying military and police officers from the north with obvious mandates. So,like Rivers state, most of the people who voted stood there to observe proceedings and defend their votes. |
aresa:The way you always seem to drag igbos into any topic is pathetic. More often than not, people with such bigotry are often from poor homes. You have my sympathy. Now on the topic, let me educate you since you are too childish to see far into the plan(even when it is boldly written in the news). It was stated there that the south east gave their support to agbaje. That alone is an indication that igbos are the least tribalistic people in this nation. In 1979,yorubas voted Awolowo and lost while igbos voted Shagari/ekwueme and won. In 1999,they voted obj(a non igbo),even ekwueme who lost to obj called on igbos to vote him. Your people voted falae and lost. In 2007,igbos and south south voted yaradua(a non igbo),Tinubu backed Atiku and yorubas lost with him. In 2011,igbos voted GEJ(a non igbo) and tinubu again threw in Ribadu and Adeola and yorubas lost with him. Yorubas only vote their own brother and they want to paint others as tribal. Hypocrisy. Kid,if you have deeper insight, you will see that by ceding that office to south west, the VP automatically goes to south east which is a better office. Besides, igbos know that agbaje is a more modern and suave politician with no dent of efcc chain on him. It marks the gradual phase off of the politics of 1st republic grandfathers(as still obtained in apc) and begining of a new generation. It takes some smart people to know that. Don't worry kid,as you grow older you will understand |
eyeview:This shows that igbos are not tribalistic as some kids are tending to paint. |
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State during the 2015 election, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, is being tipped for the position of the party’s national chairman. A competent party source confided in our correspondent yesterday that the choice of Agbaje as chairman has received the approval of key party organs and stakeholders in virtually all the six geo-political zones. The source, who craved anonymity because he is not mandated to divulge the information, said the South-East zone is the most favourably disposed to having the former governorship candidate lead the party. The decision to settle for Agbaje was said to have emerged from well thought out permutations on various elective positions ahead of the 2019 general elections. For instance, the party has zoned its 2019 presidential ticket to the North, which automatically disqualifies any chairmanship candidate from the region. Similarly, the Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, is being primed for the vice president ticket. The party’s immediate past Deputy National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, is also said to be in reckoning to retain the position, with the backing of the Rivers State Governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike. Power brokers in the PDP were said to have picked Agbaje after extensive deliberations in the past weeks. He was said to have received more vocal approval than several others considered for the job. The party leaders were said to have mapped out a strategy to ensure that they are not openly seen to be working for Agbaje’s emergence. Our source said the former governorship candidate will be made to seek the party’s nomination alongside others with all aspirants treated equally. “But plans are afoot for massive mobilisation of delegates in the six geo-political zones for Agbaje’s candidature at the upcoming convention to ensure his emergence. “His backers have decided not to persuade other aspirants to step down, in order to avoid recriminations that could ignite fresh crisis in the party,” the source added. The party yesterday inaugurated an 83-member zoning committee charged with the responsibility of deciding the zones that will take the available positions at the national level. The committee is chaired by the Ebonyi State Governor, Mr. Dave Umahi, with his Gombe State counterpart, Ibrahim Dankwabo, as deputy and former Benue State Governor, Mr. Gabriel Suswam, as secretary. The committee also has notable party chieftains across the six geo-political zones as members. It is expected to submit its report within seven days, after which the sale of nomination forms will commence for the convention billed to hold in Port Harcourt on August 17. Caretaker committee chairman of the PDP, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, charged the zoning committee to be fair and just in its assignment. He advised that positions should not be restricted to only one state in a zone but thrown open to aspirants in all the states in the various zones. Makarfi decried the previous arrangement under the leadership of Alhaji Ali Modu Sheriff, which led to the May 21 botched convention. According to him, only one nomination form was made available for each position, including the chairmanship. Also addressing newsmen shortly after the inauguration ceremony, the spokesman for the caretaker committee, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, said no member of the committee will be contesting any of the available positions. Adeyeye said the window of reconciliation with the Sheriff group remained open, but added that the condition given by the group that the caretaker committee be dissolved is untenable. http://thenationonlineng.net/agbaje-tipped-pdp-national-chair/ |
RIZLER:Was any broom waved around you? If yes, then that's when you got contaminated. |
Lies and Counter lies of this govt. I think what this govt do is to say something and wait for the reaction,if there's none after some days,it stays,if there's resistance and opposition, they come back and deny it. Trial and Error govt |
Its either Buhari dies or Nigeria dies. And I don't want Nigeria to die |
Am not a fan of PDP but pdp is still the only party you will see a list of names and it will have a national spread and representation |
Let the people stand. No amount of money or rigging can stop the people when they stand for what they believe in |
