3.Nasiru El' Rufai El Rufai has never been a man known to be a grassroot man, from his days as BPE boss to FCT minister to presently the governor of Kaduna state,he has always been seen as an elitist. Hence the need to start identifying with the masses. In this picture,he was seen munching a sugar cane in full public glare. We can easily deduce that it was clearly for 'photo purposes' as we could clearly see that despite trying to 'form grassroot man',his aides and security personnel were still barricading him from the same grassroot men and women. Publicity stunt gone wrong.

2,Iyiola Omisore During his campaign for the office of the governor of Osun state,Omisore was pictured on the top of his SUV eating two roasted corns at the same time. 'Comical sadists' have explained that it clearly epitomises the man's level of greed. Whether its a case of 'showboating' taken too far or a clear case of his level of insatiable greed,we really can't say. But one thing we know for sure is that since the loss of the election,he has not been seen eating corns from his SUV rooftops.

1.Akinwunmi Ambode: Recently, the governor of Lagos state banned the sale of goods in the streets popularly known as street trading. The ban was received with a lot of negative reaction by the populace who saw it as somewhat draconian especially in the face of present economic hardship being experienced in the nation. The law not only stipulated fine for the street trader,it also imposed a sanction for the buyer. Shortly after,a picture emerged online showing the same Governor Ambode patronising a street trader during his own campaign tour. In the pics,he was seen haggling and buying roasted plantain popularly known as bole. That photo was used to endear him to the masses,to identify with the common man on the street. There is no record of him going back again to buy another bole since he won the election.

GEJ ofcourse. PMB looks like all those old 'legion',retired ex-military officers |
francisbiz:Not even yoruba rep members, just the ones tinubu put there |
southpole:Youngman, what has igbo got to do with this? A poll was conducted by an NGO and their opinion poll spread out across the nation and the north-west region(buhari's own region) sent in the most responses and after collation viz-a-viz his own promises(spoken from his own mouth),he scored 0.5%. How does igbo come into it. And the result was released by an Idayat Hassan. Is that igbo too? Youngman, its obvious that you have a personal issue which you need to deal with which has made it impossible for you to reason objectively like a human. Please, seek counselling before you die for nothing |
Mobebi:Thank you very much. I actually did my bsc almost 15years ago. Is it true that if I present my certificate I don't need the transcript or is the transcript a compulsary requirement? |
President Buhari has only achieved one campaign promise, which constitutes 0.5 per cent of all the tracked promises.” 0.5%. That is less than 1%. For those who don't understand,Buhari has not achieved 1% of what he promised. Let us be honest to ourselves. Its obvious that Buhari can not achieve anything he promised. He clearly lacks the intelligence needed to move a complex nation like Nigeria forward. We will be very lucky if buhari can even succeed to get all indices back to how he met it. Eg,1,fuel price back to N86/ltr. 2,Dollar back to N202/$. 3,3rd fastes growing economy in the world(currently outside top 20 inside africa). 4,Megawatt to around 5,000. 5,Power tarriff back to 13.40 per unit 6,Restoration of 3,000 jobs lost in the last one year Etc It would really be a miracle if buhari by 2019 restores all he has damaged talkless of fulfilling fresh promises |
Mobebi:I have a question based on this response. Can one go to his school to apply that his transcript be sent to Unilag before the exam? I thought the transcript can only be demanded for after the candidate had written the exam and was successful. At what point can the transcript be sent? I ask cos I will be travelling soon to the city where I did my bsc and I didn't deem it fit to visit and apply since I haven't even written the test. |
Simple. They should just give him an ultimatium with a deadline to provide his waec result which is a basic requirement to stand for election in Nigeria. With that alone, they can impeach him. Saraki has too many skeletons in his cupboard which Buhari can use to nail him and he knows that, that's why buhari is tossing him like this and he can't seem to retaliate. If his hands were clean,he would have boldly gotten the senate to request that the president produce his waec result within a specified period, failure which an impeachment proceedings will be commenced against him. |
Please,is there at all anybody in this govt whose profile isn't based on lies and falsehood. From even the president himself. We must have sinned before God as a nation to deserve this wickedness |
I don't believe buhari likes this 'kind of thing'. I don't believe it |
Any senator who can move the motion for the impeachment of this dullard should be given a National Honour like CFR,CON |
Nothing will happen. But just thinking aloud "can bad boy Dino impregnate Remi at her age?" |
nairagossip:Wow! That's the virtures of christianity right there. The husband has already forgiven the wife's killers. And yet you claim that a religion that goes on to kill others because they said what you don't like is a religion of peace. Now imagine if a church has gathered to kill a muslim woman in public for preaching islam, would her family and islam forgive? R Listen,if you have to fight and kill to defend your god, then your god is a weak god. Meanwhile, those in the spirit knows there's a vicious and unforgiven demon that is completely veiled in black(just like the women dress in the physical) that rules behind that religion |
"What! This odua group must be ipob!" We all know that once any voice of reason rises to critisize any of the numerous lopsided and ineffecient policies of this incompetent buhari, that voice is termed ipob or even igbo. And I ask,do you need to be igbo to see that this president by failure to present the basic requirement of ssce result is unqualified to contest a presidential election in Nigeria? Do you need to be igbo to see that buhari has moved the govt to the northern muslims ? Do you need to be igbo to see that tribalism has become the core of this govt and is threatening the nation's unity? Do you need to be igbo to see that this govt is clueless on how to move the nation's economy forward? Do you need to be igbo to see that things have gotten far worse by every economic indices,in most cases worse than the last 25years? The list is endless. And if you have to be igbo to see all these, then you are not honest to yourself. Am glad that the odua groups are beginning to see what these people saw since. P/s,if you must quote me,stick with countering the above stated facts only(as zombies are known to attack persons and not points) as am not a GeJ fan either(cos zombies believe that any valid point against buhari is because of jonathan) |
Olabestonic001:On the contrary,I have observed his posts for a year now. He stands the truth on its head. Even when igbos are clearly victimized,he'll always twist it. Always fabricating non existing projects to buttress his lies but those on ground knows such doesn't exist. Its not against igbo culture to be objective in your reasoning. I dare say that igbos are the most objective tribe in nigeria. An hausa man can never speak ill of his brother. A yoruba man can never side you over his own brother. But igbos and south south don't do like that, they look at who is right. For eg,haven't you seen how many politicians and groups in the south have worked tenaciously to deliver their states to buhari and apc, even from GEJ's own home state. But have you noticed that not one single dissenting voice against buhari has been heard in katsina or northern states. Igbos are for the first time trying to speak with one voice and they are being attacked for it but yorubas did it for so long till they were compensated(first with the botched june 12,then in 1999). And that's how the north gets things, they agitate(though in a more dangerous manner)till they coerce the system. Please, let them be. |
Abagworo:Anytime I read your comment I come to either of these conclusions: its either you are not really igbo or iwu otile |
Niyinficient:I would have loved to attack the issue but you and the rest of you, from your comments are attacking the generality of the people instead. So you see the hypocrisy there |
SuperS1Panther:Why is this now news? Yorubas have been doing this since time immemorial. Nobody saw it as greed or love for money. Try getting a land in Lagos or anywhere in yoruba land and the traditional ruler will send omoniles to demand for omonile fees from you. Its immaterial what you paid to acquire it. You will also pay for foundation, decking, roofing etc. Yoruba elders will deploy touts who will stand at each bus stop to collect money they didn't work for from drivers. If that is not greed and the laziest love for money,I don't know what is. There are also illegal ground fee, parking fees and so on. But nobody has attacked them for it. You here a case in the east and you all jump up to shout 'greed'. Isn't that hypocrisy? |
makdcash:You call it greed but see it as normal when yorubas collect omonile money from land owners, when yoruba leaders collect for foundation, decking and roofing. The highest greed in the nation is when touts stand at every bus stop to collect oouda from working transporters,a money they didn't work for. When yorubas will ask for 'ground fee' for dropping your goods on the ground. You see that the yorubas are the laziest bunch but yet the greediest in nigeria. And if you don't see yorubas acts as greed of the highest order then you are the worst hypocrite |

Olabestonic001:I hardly respond to quotes especially when they degenerate to insult but since you decided to respond with some civility and a spark of some intelligence comments,I decided to make an exception by correcting you in almost all the points you made. And I will do so with facts and history. Let me start from your last points. You stated that 'your history' shows that yorubas beats other tribes in politics. That's a very big historic lie. Are you aware that this is the first time in Nigeria's history that yorubas got their alignment right. Let's go down history lane. In the 1st republic, awolowo under AG contested and lost to Zik of NCNC. The prime minister,Tafawa Balewa became like the VP(it was a parliamentary govt). In 1979,awo came up again under UPN and lost to the new breed of young politicians of Shagari/Ekwueme of NPN. That was when he cried that if only 'he could be allowed to be president for even a day.' Then in 1999,the yorubas lined up behind Falae/shinkafi of AD/APP alliance while the south east and south south with the help of some North central states backed OBJ/Atiku. In 2007,tinubu fronted atiku for A.C.N and yorubas lost with him. Buhari under ANPP/CPC won a few north west states but the south east, south south,North central voted Yardua/Jonathan. In 2011,the yorubas went with Ribadu/adeola and lost again. So I wonder why their 1st ever successful alliance will qualify them as ahead of anybody. In your other point, you declared that igbos are bigotted. On the contrary. Now go thru the history again. Igbos and south south voted overwhelmingly for OBJ(a yoruba man) even when he defeated Ekwueme that formed the PDP. We did not cry foul. We did not hate obj for that. We still backed him while his own people followed Falae and lost woefully. In 2007,Yaradua of PDP won in the south east and south south. Is he an igbo man? Igbos are never bigotted. Instead they are the tribe who will least consider tribe in making any decision in any sphere of life. Is GEJ an igbo man? But the yorubas only backed their tribesman since Nigeria's independence. You claim that igbos are the most backward in democratic settings. That's a big lie from the belle of hell. Many historical records and books from the british show that when they arrived Nigeria, their records claim that igbos were already with democratic institutions. That is why the south east was the last region they could capture because they couldn't find one single man with totalitarian power to influence. Everything was discussed by each village's council of elders and put to a voice vote. They now had to use military force and then enthrone warrant chiefs. No central sultan to buy over,no emir over a large region,no oba controlling over large region,no ooni etc with absolute power. I can post one of such reports for you here. No single man in igbo land wields absolute power,it must be subjected to vote which is now in practice Nationwide. On your point made about God. I had expected that a person of your intelligence would have understood that it was an allegory used to clearly illustrate the point being made. In simple words,it meant that the yorubas will ditch the best saint for the worst person once the worst 'satan' wins. Who doesn't know that the Lord is not a democrat but the Almighty Sovereign Lord. You made no point there, instead exhibited a lack of IQ. And in your first point of it being just an election. Permit me to explain that for igbos, their disdain for buhari wasn't about this election. They wouldn't have mind anyother northerner except buhari. They don't have anything tribal about it,afterall, they've massively voted northerners severally before. Their suspicion is with buhari whom they have always known by his antecedents to be an unrepentant tribal bigot from his track record. Tinubu would have even won in igboland if he had contested against buhari. Today, things happening in nigeria today by the massive movement of govt to the north has shown that igbos were right afterall. Even yorubas are being sidelined in the 'northern takeover'. Instead of attacking igbos, they should be commended for the foresight about this fulani bigot. They are the ones who foresaw this. Their grouse isn't because GEJ lost,no. Its because an unrepentant and incompetent tribal bigot won. Igbos would have voted massively for anyother northern liberal muslim over buhari. As for your opening insult, well,I leave that to the youthful exhuberance that goes with your age. In conclusion, you made no tangible verifiable point in all your assertions |
After having analysed the anarchy and total breakdown which the Nigerian nation is gradually slipping into,I think it will be in the interest of Nigeria's unity that Buhari passes on before things completely degenerate |
This is nothing to Nigerian politicians. In Nigeria.... One woman during campaign took over the frying of the akara from the akara seller. Another one and his annointed son took to the streets to buy roasted corn and eat in the middle of the road. One lunatic(with a yoruba name and igbo surname) went as far as taking over the plaiting of a woman's hair inside the market. Then a sitting office holder went to caught ponmo. A certain governorship candidate bought two roasted corns and from the roof of his SUV was munching both corns at the same time(that's greed if you ask me). A sitting governor known for showboating took it to a whole new level. He didn't buy the roasted corn,he actually took over the roasting of the corn from the corn seller from where he was inviting the public to come and buy. |
emperorchedda:They do but not in Nigeria, trust me I know. I've been close |
Though I wanted to lambast him for 'showboating' for the cameras while he causes unnecessary traffic logjam for motorists but I must commend him for atleast constructing a 74km road. Such a distance is now a rare achievement in Nigeria. GEJ barely did and with barely 2 active years left in Buhari's tenure(the last year is for electioneering),I doubt if he'll make such distance. |
An average igbo man doesn't do eye service. If he likes you,he will let you know,if he doesn't like you,he will let you know. The whole nation doesn't understand this. If satan contests against God,the yorubas will stand with God,but if God loses, they will switch sides and make satan their new best friend. Igbos will take a stand and either sink or swim with you. I tell people that the day an igboman will become president, the yorubas who are mocking them today will become their new best friend to 'gossip' the hausas. That's why if the north is scheming for power, they see igbos as their main opposition and vice versa, the west will always tag along with the eventual winner. As for Joe Igbokwe,I don't blame him. He is feeding his household from the crumbs off Tinubu's table. He has to say such to earn his pay. And let it be known that igbos didn't just hate buhari because of GEJ. His antecedent from 1983 to PTF boss shows his innate disdain and contempt for igbos. |
Buhari junketted across 30 nations and all he could get was a toy plane from china and these ones think they can make a difference. Anyway, they should have fun and try not to carry chics that will expose them like their honourable colleagues who also went to get 'investors'. |
Please can someone give me an objective answer to my question. The north has been in power for majority of the time, please what have those their leaders done to bring civilization and development to their people? Their leaders must be wicked and selfish. I ask cos I can state that there is no bank branch in this kind of structure anywhere in the south of nigeria, even in the rural areas. |
truthspeaks:You have said it all. This nation is really on auto pilot. The idiot at the top isn't really doing anything to move the nation forward. Nobody can really point at any tangible policy framework or economic policy or even pro-active action being taken by this govt. His ministers too, having taken a cue from his cluelessness have just sworn oath of office and gone back home since then. No clear direction. The country is on auto pilot |
No problem. After all their governor was part of the 19 northern states governors who met and condemned the order by some southern states to sack fulani herdsmen from their states. Like bokoharam, its all coming back to them now. |
