He should also intensify his rate of flogging on that Iragbiji clown.. I don’t know why Trump is too soft on that cocaine sniffer and his brainless supporters..
platymus: You guys tell lies and spread fake news too much!!! may God have mercy on you! The large percentage of faith practicing Christians are South Western People! while Easterners are mostly church but goers rooted and grounded in traditions and idol worship! The reason you will see masquerades and a catholic priests in the same gathering. Idol worship is very prevalent among the Igbos! They are largely Catholics and Anglicans and mostly combine that with their idol worship! So by percentage of the word 'christians' we have 98% of igbos compared to about 83% of Yorubas but never confuse that with believer in christ! Just look at the top men of God over time in Nigeria and the rising ones now Also look at the move of God across Africa and the Globe! Apostle Arome had to acknowledge that fact!
So you are in your enclave telling people how they should practice their own Christianity In order to be seen as true followers of Christ right ?. Who are you to tell people how they should worship God ? So It’s no more about population of Christians in the East and west, it’s now how Christianity is practiced ?
If I start condemning how you are practicing Christianity, just know that I will start with Remi Tinubu who who gets yoked with an unbeliever in the name of marriage
Don’t be a clown..
Like I have said, when it comes to Christianity in Nigeria, give it to Igbos because they are the only majority tribe in Nigeria with a monolithic religion.. And again, stop telling me that you have pastors, knowing fully well that Igbos that practice Pentecostalism are still large stakeholders in your church..
Another reasons you should not use pastors is because Majority of Igbos are Catholic, but I didn’t want to to use number of Catholic priests in Nigeria to make analysis like you used pastors, because Igbos Catholic priests would be on top.. Infact, Catholic priests in Imo state alone will dwarf all other priests across the country..
Guestmale: No not all, some are claiming Jewish religion, few are traditionalists, even there are some few Muslims too.
I won’t dismiss the existence of other religion in the East, but to make it easier for you, since you weee born to this age, have you seen an Igbo Muslim in your life ?, because I am very sure there are hundreds of Igbos around you now as we speak .. Don’t tell me the ones you saw on the media or Television .. As for Igbo Jews and traditionalist, yes they exist but they are not upto 2% of our population
“Come get me, coward, I’m waiting for you here” - Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro dares Donald Trump after the US president said he’s next to be captured.
mandarin: Anyone that think the Northern mafia will put for someone from the Southeast up for the post of the President is deceived.
The core north will back off if ADC gives its ticket to Obi, bookmark this for reference, they will fall back and negotiate with Tinubu and will probably want him to keep a core northern Muslims as his deputy.
Here is my take, the United States will most probably pressure Tinubu to chose a Christian Vice and he may probably chose either General Musa, current APC Chairman from Plateau, the secretary to FGN from Benue or Yakubu Dogara.
If General Musa, it may piss off the northern oligarchs together with anti terror war, make Tinubu lose across most of the 13northern states but may get enough to pass 40%- 25% across all of them. The Middle Belt states will deliver their votes massively notwithstanding who opposition parties present.
If Obi is on the ballot whether as the President or Vice, the Southeast will vote him massively and Tinubu may only get 5-25% max wherever he performs so well. The Southwest will vote massively for Tinubu a lot more than in 2023 based on the same reasons Southeast will vote for the Obi ticket.
The South-south is the beautiful bride, will be dominated by Tinubu because of the various pact with the various power players and the gladiators. He will probably win at least 55%- 80% across these areas depending on the elimination method deployed.
This is my conclusion: An Atiku -Obi ticket is the strongest but will still fall short of 25% across 24 states. An Obi-Kwankwaso ticket will suffer defeat because the North wont want to sail that storm. An Obi-ElRufai ticket will lose in a disastrous manner because the entire Christian Middle Belt will reject it with passion.

The Obi of Issele-Uku Kingdom, HRM, Obi Engr. Nduka Ezeagwuna, bans the use of Yoruba styled 'Asoebi' during traditional marriages, while advocating the use of 'akwa-ọcha' as the known traditional attire of the Enuani people.
SpatialKing: That's his business, Nobody asked him to go and beg anybody, we don't give a Fk about what Obi does...
Fulani Terrorist won't succeed in South South or South East is as simple as that...
South West will welcome them wholeheartedly
The issue is that Peter didn’t even beg anyone, he’s a very confident politician, that’s why he has said repeatedly that he’s not going to deputize anyone..
That clown you quoted was only trying to create a dead narrative that won’t stick.. He’s empty upstairs that’s why I I ignored him..
Terrorists Storm Kwara Community After Christmas Celebration, Abduct Seven Residents, Injure Others
Terrorists suspected to be bandits on Friday evening invaded Adanla community in Igbaja Ward 2, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, abducting seven residents and injuring several others, just a day after Christmas.
A source told SaharaReporters that the attack occurred on Friday at about 7pm, throwing the usually peaceful community into panic, grief and mourning.
According to the source, the armed men stormed the community in large numbers, firing sporadically as they forcefully entered homes and carted away victims.
“Today, 26 December 2025, at about 7:30pm, Adanla, Igbaja Ward 2, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State was invaded by bandits. Our peaceful community is in deep sorrow, grief and agony,” the source said.
The attackers reportedly kidnapped seven people during the raid, while several others sustained gunshot injuries.
The source told SaharaReporters that a young girl was said to have been seriously wounded and is currently battling for her life.
“They invaded our homes during this festive season and forcibly kidnapped seven people, injuring several others. They fired several gunshots, and seven of our family members are now in the den of these heartless criminals,” the source added.
Residents described the incident as devastating, noting that families have been left shattered, with fear and uncertainty gripping the community.
As of the time of filing this report, it remains unclear whether security operatives have launched a rescue operation or if any arrests have been made.
Efforts to reach the Kwara State Police Command for official confirmation were unsuccessful.
The attack adds to growing concerns over insecurity in Kwara State and the wider North-Central region, where communities continue to face threats from banditry, kidnapping and violent attacks, even during festive periods.
SaharaReporters previously reported that residents of Offa, Kwara State, were thrown into panic late Thursday night after loud explosions rocked parts of the town, destroying residential buildings.
This comes shortly after United States President Donald Trump announced U.S. airstrikes targeting ISIS positions in parts of Nigeria.
However, it remains unclear whether the military action in Offa was part of the US airstrikes or carried out solely by the Nigerian military.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing debris raining down from the sky, suggesting the explosion may have been caused by a drone-delivered bomb.
In a video exclusively obtained by SaharaReporters, a large fragment believed to be part of a drone bomb is seen lying on the ground shortly after the explosion.
SaharaReporters gathered that at least five houses and several shops were destroyed, with debris scattered across the affected areas.
The video footage shows damaged buildings and distressed residents calling on the Kwara State government to urgently intervene.
Some residents questioned why Offa, a largely peaceful town, would be affected by such an incident.
“Why would they launch a bomb here?” one visibly shaken resident asked. Another added, “We saw the drone remnants after it destroyed a house.”
A member of the local vigilante group who visited the scene confirmed the explosion, stating that it occurred around midnight.
“I got there after 12am. I called the Balogun (war chief), and he came immediately. We went to the hotel where one of the explosions occurred, but I won’t mention the hotel’s name. The hotel was damaged. Another explosion happened around the prayer ground near Ijagbo in Offa,” he said.
According to him, several houses, storey buildings, and other structures were damaged. “We thank God that no lives were lost,” he added.
Tinubu should prove to Nigerians that his hands are clean by arresting Gummi, if not Nigerians are seeing him as an a complicit in the insecurity in Nigeria
Trump’s airstrikes: Gumi must be arrested – Nick Donnelly
A renowned Catholic Author, Deacon Nick Donnelly, has called for the immediate arrest of a controversial Nigerian Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi.
The call followed Gumi’s remarks after the United States’ Christmas Day airstrikes against insurgents in parts of Sokoto State.
DAILY POST reports that Gumi in a statement on Friday urged the Federal Government to immediately halt any collaboration with the US to take out the perpetrators of alleged genocide against Christians.
Reacting to Gumi’s comments, Nick Donnelly in a post on X, said the Islamic scholar must be arrested and prosecuted.
He wrote, “Sheikh Gumi protests President Trump’s Christmas military strikes against the bestial Islamist terrorists.
“Calling the terrorists conducting the genocide against Christians ‘our warriors’.
“Gumi must be arrested and put on trial for crimes against humanity.
“Tinubu must publicly condemn Gumi or else he is declaring his complicity in his crimes.”
In an interview with Peoples Gazette on Friday, Mr Baba-Ahmed said the U.S military action on Nigerian soil undermines the country’s sovereignty and right to defend itself.
“Now our country’s right to defend itself has been handed over by our leadership to the U.S.,” said the politician. “Our military assets sworn to protect and defend us have been further diminished by the action of the US. They will be right if they feel humiliated.”
U.S. President Donald Trump, on Thursday, announced on his social media pages that the American military carried out a series of airstrikes against terrorist targets in the North-Western state. Hours after, the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement confirming the operation.
Mr Baba-Ahmed described the airstrikes as a gross violation of Nigeria’s sovereignty, accusing the U.S. government of pursuing a hidden agenda while dividing the country along religious lines.
“The real issue is not where, within the territory of Nigeria the US assault landed. What is important is that our sovereignty, dignity and rights have been violated by an external interest which claims it is acting in the interest of the Nigerian Christian community.
“The US has been consistent in trying to deepen our religious divisions. It has threatened to attack us instead of assisting us to deal with a problem which only Nigerians can,” he explained.
While noting that the U.S. could not win the war against terrorism in the country, the politician decried the Nigerian government’s failure to handle the situation, adding foreign intervention would only make the country vulnerable to colonialism.
“The U.S. does not have a foot in our door. It has the whole room. How do we say to the US, go home, we can handle our problems, henceforth?
“U.S. itself knows it cannot win this war against our killers. Only Nigerians will do this. And we must show greater resolve to do this, or we will continue to do the bidding of countries like the US. This will make us double victims: of killers all over the country, and powerful countries interested in a weakened Nigeria they can colonize,” Mr Baba-Ahmed stated.
Meanwhile, Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi condemned the bombing as a war against Islam.
“The attacks are symbolic of a harbinger (of a) neo-Crusade war against Islam. Attack on Sokoto, where 90% are Muslim with no imminent danger of terror, while the real threat is in Maiduguri and on a Christmas Eve, with the claim of protecting against Christian genocide, says a lot,” Mr Gumi said on Friday.
The issue is that Tinubu is not in touch with the reality. Yesterday, he was busy tagging Trump on twitter during his Christmas msg just to prove a point, only to wake up with sad news this morning.. He’s not aware of Donlad Trump’s plans..
The “joint operation” statement is just to save a face, which everyone would do to cover his or her shame
PDP Condemns Tinubu Govt’s 'Poor Communication' On US Strikes In Nigeria, Says Trump Broke News First
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration for its handling of public communication regarding the United States’ military strikes against terrorists in northwest Nigeria.
The opposition party called on the government to adopt a more proactive and transparent approach to addressing sensitive security matters.
SaharaReporters earlier reported that on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, President Donald Trump said the U.S. carried out what he described as “numerous precise strikes” against terrorists in northwest Nigeria, claiming they were responsible for killing Christians.
Trump said the operation was conducted under his authority as Commander-in-Chief and targeted ISIS-linked fighters operating in parts of Nigeria that have suffered years of violence and insecurity.
According to Trump, the militants had been “viciously killing, primarily innocent Christians, at levels not seen for many years, and even centuries.” He added that he had previously warned the groups to stop the killings or face consequences.
The Nigerian government later confirmed, through the Minister of Foreign Affairs, that strikes had occurred in parts of northern Nigeria.
However, authorities did not provide details on the nature of the operation or the extent of Nigeria’s involvement.
In a press statement issued on Friday, December 26, 2025, by its National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ini Ememobong, the PDP said Nigerians first learned about the reported American strike through verified social media accounts of former U.S. President Donald Trump and other American officials, long before any official response from the Nigerian government.
The PDP noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs only released a “vague statement” several hours later, which merely offered a passive confirmation of Nigeria’s awareness of, and cooperation in the operation.
“While international cooperation in the fight against high crimes like terrorism is very much appreciated, the Peoples Democratic Party is deeply concerned about a communication structure where foreign powers break the news of security operations in our country before our government does,” the statement read.
The party warned that such an “inverted communication approach” does not serve the interests of either the Nigerian government or Nigerian citizens, particularly given reports that the U.S. military had, in the past, entered and operated within Nigeria without the prior permission or knowledge of the authorities.
According to the PDP, the Nigerian government ought to have been the first to officially inform Nigerians about the operation in order to properly sensitize the public, rather than waiting to confirm information that was already widely circulated.
“The government should not be in a position of merely reacting to foreign announcements on security operations within its territory, unless it was taken unawares like the rest of the citizens,” the party stated.
The PDP further called on the Nigerian government to ensure that any defence agreement with the United States prioritizes joint operations.
The party stressed that such arrangements would promote knowledge sharing and experiential learning for Nigerian security forces.
This, the party said, would help Nigeria combat insecurity in a more sustainable manner, instead of relying on what it described as fully externally led “precision attacks
US Congressman, Riley Moore, has hailed recent airstrikes in North West Nigeria as a decisive move to protect Christian communities and tackle the ongoing security crisis in the country.
Speaking on Friday via his X handle, Moore said the strikes, conducted in coordination with the Nigerian government, marked “just the first step to ending the slaughter of Christians and the security crisis affecting all Nigerians.”
“President Trump has been clear that the killing of Christians in Nigeria must end.
“As I stated at the outset: Do not test President Trump‘s resolve in this matter,” the congressman added.
The comments came after reports that US forces, under President Donald Trump’s direction, carried out airstrikes against ISIS-linked terrorist elements in North West Nigeria. In a separate post, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said Washington acted with Nigeria’s cooperation.
“The President was clear last month: the killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria (and elsewhere) must end. The Department of War is always ready…Grateful for Nigerian government support & cooperation,” Hegseth wrote.
The Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the strikes were part of structured security cooperation with international partners to combat terrorism and violent extremism.
Moore recently concluded a fact-finding mission in Nigeria to investigate alleged attacks on Christian communities, describing the experience as deeply disturbing.
Leading a five-member congressional delegation, he visited IDPs, survivors of terrorist attacks, Christian leaders, and traditional rulers in Benue State.
The team also met with the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the Attorney General, Lateef Fagbemi.
Speaking on Fox News, Moore recounted harrowing cases, including a woman who lost five children while pregnant, and another who lost her husband, two daughters, and her unborn child, describing the violence as deliberate targeting of Christians.
“This is one of the most dangerous states in Nigeria. They are trying to erase Christians in Benue and across Nigeria from their ancestral homeland,” Moore said.
He confirmed that President Trump tasked him and House Appropriations Chairman Tom Cole to submit a report with recommendations by the end of the month, following Nigeria’s designation as a “Country of Particular Concern” over alleged Christian killings
tranxo: As large as the Roman Catholic church population is, when you come to the number of churches, leave it for Redeemed Christian Church of God. In a street, you can have 2 or 3 RCCG branches/parishes
You need to leave your enclave honestly.. Why comparing Catholic Church with Redeem ?
Redeem churches and branches are 50k(Maximum)globally, while that of Catholic Church is more than 400 k globally(Minimum)…
Mind you, I respect Redeem very well, but comparing it with Catholic Church is ridiculous.
Note, that a Catholic Church can’t have a parish if they are not upto five thousand attendees (Minimum)before a church is constructed and qualified to be a parish, unlike Redeem that can just name a building with less than 1k people as parish.. And lastly, every Catholic Church conducts mass three times for different attendance each parish on Sundays, while that of Redeem conducts only one service every Sunday each parish ..
Redeem influence begins and ends in South west Nigeria..
Catholics have more parishes than Redeem Globally, and also more populated as well
OriOko88: We're u the census chairman who declared Yoruba population is 40m. Bring ur data let's see. Besides how many ibos are practicing Christians. Most ibo men dont go to church again compared to many practicing Yoruba Christians
