Family › Re: My Wife Changed 2 Weeks After Wedding!! by fabem(m): 9:35pm On Aug 03, 2019
Hi Sir,

I take my time to read and digest your issue before commenting.

Marriage as you see it is not an easy journey to start and sustain.

I can see that you have reach your exceeded point where you can't endure or be patience.

What is happening in your marriage today didn't just start or thinking your wife changed. Not at all!

All this late attitude of hers was there before just that you neglected and ignored due to the freebies you are getting when feeding and clothing you back then at school.

She didn't hate her ex, just that they didn't marry, she is still emotionally in contacts with ex which is what you failed to address at the beginning. She have seen your weaknesses and capitalizing on it.

SOLUTION:

This may be hard but you need to get your dignity back. You need a break and to do that, avoid her totally for now.

By;

Stop eating her food and eat out for now.

Distance your self from her and her discussions but do not cheat as you mentioned.

If she doesn't have access to you, she will realize something is wrong. Though it may not fully work out, i think this is the best time to stand on your ground as a man and act.

The travelling to US should be put on hold till everything is been sorted out or else, what you are scared of happening is what will happen when you get there.

Tackle the issue from the root.

You can still rescue your home depending on if your wife still wants to.

Stop begging. Do not be scared to lose her, be firm and take actions, she will stay and readjust.

About your child paternity? That is a personal decision, if you have the means, you can do the DNA without her consent.

Lastly, pray for wisdom from God on how to guide your home. In this case, divorce is not yet an options because you still have other options to follow.

Women in Africa still need education on how to practice feminism.

God bless your home.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Online Job Applications - How I Got A New Job by fabem(m): 6:15pm On Jul 16, 2019
ritux:
Here is just a short testimony and to encourage others not to ever give up.

I was working with a construction company sometime ago until our project was completed sometime mid last year and the company was not getting new projects. As construction companies are, unfortunately I was among those that was laid off despite all my loyalty, contribution and sacrifices to the success of the company as I was one of the best Employee.

Getting a new job wasn’t easy. Everyday I get job notifications from jobberman, hot nigeria jobs....etc. I also checked online for other job vacancies. Nothing positive was coming.

I started UBER/Taxify with my car to make ends meet. Everyday I go out with my laptop and when I’m not carrying a passenger, I park somewhere and continue my online job hunting inside my car until I get a pickup request.

Anyways, when I see online applications especially here on nairaland, I see people posting online applications don’t work or things like this position has already been occupied blah blah blah.....etc. However, I never gave up. I kept on applying even for jobs beyond my number of years of experience as long as they are within my field and background.

Fast forward to June 2019, I got interview invitation for 2 different jobs. The first one, I’m still expecting feedback after passing 2 stages of interview. The second one which is a testimony, I got employment offer on Friday with a basic monthly salary of over NGN800k plus excluding other allowances and bonus.

The reason for this post is never to give up in online job applications. It doesn’t take anything to to create time and apply no matter what you think.

Below are screenshots of my saved job applications. For each job I apply, I save them because I always tweak my CV to fit into the particular job. Not just sending generic CV.

NB: Kindly note that not all jobs are gotten through connections and recommendations. There are several jobs out there you can get on merit and God's favour.
Congratulations sir.

Hi guys,

I know some applicants are still having issues completing their application, especially at the O'level filling stage. Many experiencing "Operation failed".

I have to assist more than 20 applicants from Nairaland who called or chat me on whatsapp to passed that stage. They all experienced same issue of filling O'Level.

Now, let me give you some hint so that you won't experience "operation failed";

When filling the school name of your O'Level, do not use full stop (.). You can only use comma (,). For example, if you write St. Peters, it would be bringing " operation failed". Instead put St Peters.

You must also put the location of the school after writing the name. For examples, If you just write St Peters High School, it would bring "Operation failed", instead you write St Peter High School, Ikeja, it will go. That is how the command was programmed.

With few days to the end of the recruitment exercise, if you are still having issues applying and you need some guidelines or you want us to apply for you, you can contact us at;

Hi,

Go to https://smallpdf.com/compress-pdf, upload the Pdf file you want to compress, wait for few minutes , and once it is done compressing the file, it will tell you to download it. Download it and upload the custom web, it will work.

I did that countless time, but I still cant change the employment duration. it will only clear details i put in earlier. that is what is stopping me from submitting my application. i used both firefox and chrome.
I have applied for applicants with many working experiences with no issue. There must will error somewhere when you are filling that stage.

Have you upload a3n documents at the documents stage?

At the document stage, do you see where to upload CV? If no, then delete all the documents you have uploaded, go back to the working experience and filled. Once you fill the working experience and save, at the document stage, CV (PDF) will be requested to be uploaded

If you don't fill the working experience before going to upload any documents, it will be showing error.

Try that and get back to me.

Hi guys,

Now that the application is going easily, let me add some hints;

1. You can upload up to 10 documents depending on the info you provided during the process (stages). Once you fill professional certification and working experience stage, you will have to upload your CV in pdf format.

2. You can now use two sittings for o'level and you must upload both too.

3. If you are experiencing error 1105, change the network you are browsing with, MTN is preferable.

4. Your documents must not exceed 200kb.

5. Your guarantor form, read the instruction, make sure your guarantors meet those requirements. Let them fill it and then you keep it, once they call you for screening at your test location, you will be asked to present it with your printed acknowledgement slip and uploaded documents.

Please help me out, am trying to upload Birth Cert, Nysc and the rest. I snapped them and tried uploading but the site is saying my file is more than 200KB. Please kindly assist with a site that can reduce the size of the file and convert it to PNG or JPG as requested by the website
Go to www.jpeg-optimizer.com Then click on browse, locate where the file is, click on it. Then click on compress, it will load the pix, right click on it and press download/save as, it will compress it to 20-30kb.

To do so for all the files.
