- How you met your husband or wife.

I met my hubby on the 20th of September, 1997. We were both in the University of Benin, I was in year 1 and he was in Yr 3. We both lived in the same Estate (off campus) and he saw me walking by a lot (he was always watching out for me- he told me so later) cos I had to go past his block of flats to get to my block. Anyway, the first Impression he cast on me was that he and his friends (there were really only 4 of them guys living in a 3 bedroom flat but as a result, they had a lot of guys coming around to hang out with them) always used to whistle at me and shout, "hey! hello!wassup", so I generally used to dread coming back from whereever. I used to notice that there may be only 1 or 2 people standing in the balcony, but by the time I got close to the building, the guys at the balcony would have alerted the rest of the gang and they would all come out of their rooms to call out to me when I walked by.
This happened for about a month or so, so I kinda got used to it and didn't think too much of it.............
On the 20th of September however, I remember this day was a Saturday. I had just come back from Town, where I went to buy some stuff for the weekend. When I got bak, I saw some of the guys and they were like Hi! Watsup? I didn;t answer them, I just went on my way and walked str8 to my flat! (I shared a flat with 3 guys-one of whom was my elder brother! and my room-mate, who was(is still) my cousin-we were both in Year 1 then)
Now, my hubby told me this bit later. He discussed on that day me with one of his family friends who had come to his place for the first time that day. He was also in year 1.
he told him there was this girl (me) he fancied and he didn't know how to get some1 introduce us. He told the guy that he learnt I was in year 1 and I lived in a flat with my cousin and brother! Anyway, by the time I passed their flat on my way in, the guy had seen me and he was like, "oh! This girl, I know her, she's in my class....................................He came up to my flat with my to be hubby, introduced us, and the rest as they say, is history!

I'll do this like nferyn and take it in stages................
Watch out for Part 2 (like the nigerian home movies! )

Yeah, it's possible for a lady to date just one guy and stick to him. I know a lot of guys have the belief that it's not possible, but that's so not true!
