I will advise you don't book your flight until you get an update from IRCC, you never can tell when the passport will get back to you.
Another option will be to book your flight for January 3rd with the option of changing the date of you don't get a response from IRCC by then, but most airlines will charge you for changing flight (so you have to consider that when making your decision)

Winter term resumes on January 11. I also feel I should hear from IRCC, just that tickets are getting ridiculously high by the days.

Please does anyone know if and when IRCC will close for the year? I sent my passport to Abuja last Friday and got an email from VFS that it's been delivered to IRCC on Monday for processing. I want to book a flight for January 3rd, not sure if this is a great idea.

Will appreciate your thoughts on this.

My PPR dropped this morning. I am in Lagos, planning to use Abuja VFS office, read here that it's a better choice compared to the Lagos office.

U said you have a sent a webform before, I think you should send another Webform, this time , u gonna send the Webform in another Dimension (don't be limited to IRCC Nairobi alone, send webforms to other IRCC offices e.g IRCC Beijing in China) & also send mails to IRCC Offices of other countries aswell

Thank you for your advice. I renewed my passport just before my medical. The new passport page was scanned to my profile at the hospital. Someone said I need to scan the data page via webform. Could this be the reason for the delay?

No, it's an online application.

It's an online application submitted on August 25. Got AIP on September 12, MR on November 13.

I received my BVL on November 25 and since then I haven't heard anything from IRCC. I have sent emails and raised a webform. Is there anyone else in my shoes?
