Just look at the Spanish team. Nothing scary about them. Absensio and Morata are not the kind of strikers that would scare you. The midfield is made up of under 20 players with an average Busquet. Aside the Coasta Rica game they have been porous!

The significance of a very good goalkeeper cannot be overemphasized. We need a good goalkeeper. Without it we will continue to come short in major tournaments.

If it gets to penalties, Morocco will win. Their goalkeeper looks more self assured.

They had the tactics and were having the upper hand before England broke their press and scored. I have said it numerous times that the Senegalese did not meet any quality team at AFCON. The only top African team they met was Egypt and didn't score from open play.

Yes, he was just lucky to have a coach he could outwit. That game was won purely on tactics.

Now know this: After the first game in Accra, and having my first look at Otto's tactics (Otto is not yet a genius in my reckoning, but he could grow to become one), I knew he has the brains enough to cause an upset. Do you know the number of chances Inter created in that match? How can you be comparing this tactic to Otto's 531 with just one shot on target? Jose had a game plan to transition from defence to attack, Otto's team hardly transition. Just defending and ballooning the ball. Cape Verde had a better coach cos they were able to transition and kept us in our half when on counter. Otto's Ghana didn't do anything in attack just defend and vibes.

The plan was to hold our team to a draw and go for penalties which in a way may favor them because there will be more pressure on our boys playing at home but they got lucky by getting the first goal and defended with their lives until the final whistle because they had it at the back of their mind that the away goal rule favors them

Whats tactical in telling your team to defend? Ordinary football analysts knew he would defend. So what's tactical about that. My point is if Equaveon had the full compliment of his players over the 2 legs, he would have won. Equaveon team had the best chances over the two legs without having the core of his midfield. Imagine Otto without Kudus and Partey. Nothing tactical in defending and creating no chances over two legs with a full team.

It was very easy for the ghanaians to figure out that the strength of egu’s team was the flanks which was obvious to even a lay man and addo went ahead to shut both flanks down as well as keep an eye on osimhen which they did perfectly well and made our team bereft of ideas.

What addo wanted in that game was just to hold the super eagles to a draw then head to penalties which can go either way

If that game was played for 180 mins the super eagles wouldn’t hv scored in open play

We wouldn't have scored because we lacked the personnel on the bench not because Addo is tactical. All our midfielders were out due to injuries. Shehu had to play DM when no one was available. Cape Verde had Rohr team on the back foot throughout the 2nd half while Ghana could not even pass the midfield against a team without midfielders. Otto did nothing. He was just lucky! Simple.
