Tunisia is a very touristic and beautiful country . Its also cheap , with a small budget you can spend two weeks of wonderful vacation .

millions of algerians spend their holidays in tunisia every year
thank you very much yes it's much cheaper than most touristic countries and Algerians are very welcomed in Tunisia also Libyans...

AskiaHarem:
So where you just referring to Libya then or are you talking global beyond Africa?
yes referring to Libya which have an army that split into many factions and did not renew its weapons since ages even during Qaddafi times it was in a difficult state and also having smaller population than Tunisia... specially since the US embargo but tbh after seeing the state of Ethiopian army It's kinda there too... also the fact that they sought another failed state help to fight in the civil war is also veeery worrisome.

This morning, the Tunisian Minister of National Defense, Mr. Ibrahim El-Bertagy, supervised at the fishing port of Sfax the flotation ceremony of the Istiklal class “Dogga 214” patrol boat, which is the fifth out of seven (7) floating marine units that are manufactured in partnership with the Industrial and Naval Construction Company “SCIN”. On this occasion, he authorized the launch of the production of a 50-meter model Patrol ship. It was named Kairouan.

He expressed his hope that this cooperation between the Ministry of National Defense and “SCIN” company will rise to its highest levels by continuing to work on creating a hidden company with a joint contribution between the public and private sectors, calling on the concerned structures from the public and private sectors to engage in the field of military industrialization as it is an engine of growth and a tributary. One of the tributaries of national security in its various economic, social and security dimensions.

To illustrate my point, the city of Lagos has a GDP almost double that of the whole country of Tunisia. Fighting total war -upon which the rankings are based - is not just about showing up with your current arsenal. You will lose assets and people. What is your capacity to replace those?
Can you keep your economy running - to fund those losses - when your working age people are needed for the war effort?

All of that informs what goes into the rankings, not just the trinkets currently in your millitary arsenal.

That's why it's called Global Fire Power, not Inventory of military assets.
but Tunisia getting outranked by failed states does raises many questions GFP is never been a reliable source regarding Tunisia it have many mistake like the number of active soldiers and so on... it's true that Tunisia economy is small but it relative to population it's lower mid income so it can withstand a lot better than many countries ahead of Tunisia in the list...
