ShoeMarket: When I see people say all manner of thing about Obi, I always laugh. I recall travelling to my state via Anambra when Obi was governor. I always marvelled at the kind of smooth, durable roads Obi constructed in every village. Obi did well in Anambra forget all the bad belle.
Unfortunately, most Nigerians are blind followers and they enjoy that terrible zone. Instead of making genuine enquiry about someone they resort to propaganda and nuisance-ness.
It's really a shame how people choose to be deluded than being objective. lecturers went on strike for 6 months Doctors went on strike for 13 months No infrastructural development Nothing was done in d state n they were poorer under obi Those praising him today cursed him badly then n a typical example is owobokiri This was what he had to say about the agulu packaged fraud then n today u want us to see him as d Messiah

Politics › Re: Reason 98.7% Nigerians Abroad Support Peter Obi Irrespective Of Tribe& Religion. by Factcheck0001: 9:58pm On Jul 31, 2025 |
PresidentMUGABE: Peter Obi continues to expose us, not by making noise, but simply by being himself like a normal leader who lives in western world.
He has exhumed everything that’s wrong with us as citizens.
We’ve become so conditioned to seeing power expressed through arrogance and showmanship that we now find humility unsettling. We can't seem to process the idea that power can be handled quietly, responsibly, even gently.
Obi continues to remind us, again and again, of just how broken our understanding of leadership has become. In a country where power is equated with privilege, and status is often worn like armor, Obi’s quiet consistency unsettles many, not because he offends, but because he doesn’t fit.
The recent viral moment of Peter Obi serving food at a Catholic Church event was, for many, a shock. For others, it was a stunt. But for those who understood the context, it was profoundly symbolic.
He wasn’t pretending. We’re just not used to leadership that is comfortable being human.
It took me back to a deeply personal experience during a leadership retreat I attended years ago in the UK, a program organized for business leaders and social entrepreneurs, funded by the World Economic Forum. We were brought together for ten days of deceleration, to strip leadership down to its essence and reflect on who we are without our titles and positions.
In filling my profile for the event, I requested to be addressed as Dr. Arowolo. I showed up with my full academic identity, and carried it with a bit of flair. Everyone called me "Doc." I spoke as often as my opinions were sought. I felt distinguished, and to some degree, important.
But one of the rules of the retreat was that we were not allowed to introduce ourselves by our jobs or any enterprise we lead. We could talk about anything, family, values, hobbies, but not what we did professionally.
There was a quiet man in our group, warm but reserved. We called him Pete. No suffix. No preface. Just Pete. He didn’t speak much, but when he did, it was measured, deep, and strikingly wise. I connected with him over meals and walks. I admired his mind, but never knew his background.
On the final day, we were finally allowed to say what we did.
And that’s when I discovered that “Pete,” this gentle, insightful man, held a PhD in disruptive innovation and was a professor at one of the most prestigious universities in the world. A true global authority in his field.
I was floored. Not just by the revelation, but by the humility.
Here I was, parading my title, while he carried substance without a label.
It changed something in me.
And it’s the same quiet shift Peter Obi is provoking in our collective consciousness.
Sometimes, the loudest voice in the room isn’t the most powerful one. Sometimes, the one serving food is the one whose leadership we need the most.
If Obi unsettles you, maybe it’s not because of what he’s doing, but because of what he represents: a different kind of power. A kind we’re not used to. another one from ipob bureau of statistics |

Realdeals: The campaign will be simpler if it's Obi vs Tinubu.
North will have to wait for another 8 years for their turn, anyone that believes Obi will do just one term is in the land of illusion. They will remember GEJ. just leave them to their delusion So who will stop obi from using 2 terms? It's crystal clear that the north can't b out of power for 12 years, they will rather let Tinubu finish his 4 years n have power back than to gamble with obi |

His opponents have skeletons in their cupboards. so with this result from the north u believe he also defeated tinubu? How can obi win with this result from d north? Fact of the matter is Mazi Kanu is a equal opportunities 'abuser' and doesn't discriminate based on ethnicity or religion....not even his own Igbo ethnicity are spared the sharp end of his tongue! Given the idiocy and stubborness of the average Nigerian, they deserve to be addressed harshly , and since some are overly sensitive and tribal, they tend to take offence, especially if the person addressing them is someone they despise ab-initio! the fact a son beats his father at home n nothing happens doesn't mean he can beat another man's father. The fact he calls u Ibos derogatory names doesn't mean he can call others Get that clear |

Now you've moved from praising him for sharing food to celebrating him for sharing shops in another man's land Lagos. Don’t we have land in Anambra State, where most of the traders actually come from?
This is a man whose only notable achievement as governor was establishing breweriesno schools, no hospitals. You people should continue. Even late Buhari wasn’t this desperate. I remember when ESN first started They were heavily ridiculed and critizied Now every state is following their model.
Akeredolu wife is from imo state You can see how she inspired Akeredolu to create Amotekun for Yorubas the same way igbos created ESN
Betty Akeredolu low-key influenced a lot of Akeredolu decision in govt.
Igbos are trend setters Tho they lack the cohesion and are easily targeted with Federal might. They are truly 4 steps ahead into the future

Bookmark this post , the numerous killing of innocent blood. Humans, etc, will reach a crescendo before evolving into a human catastrophic tsunami soon . The generations that fought and endured the uncivil war are passing away and gradually being replaced with a short sighted and careless generations that will repeat a bigger mistake. Nigeria might end up like Sudan. The war between Russia and Ukraine might end up being fought in Nigeria. Let them keep stoking the flames.
Igbos who are investing all their lives savings in Lagos and Abuja should get their hankerchief ready . Move a part of your investment to Dubai, London, Canada, south Africa, Paris etc. Is this too much to ask for, sometimes I weep for my fellow igbos, their stubbornness defies logic. SeraphicWind: The way and manner these opposition leaders are going about 2027 is most times confusing to me. But let me just assume it is all part of their strategy.
I am even of the opinion that Peter Obi, Nasir El Rufai, Atiku, Kwankwaso, David Mark and Aregbesola should became extremely brutal in their campaign strategy. They should develop a massive attack strategy that would match Tinubu and his minions Power for Power, Money for Money... Even overboard for Overboard!!! It is that serious.
The Northerners should fear the second tenure of Tinubu the most. This man will be ruthless on them.
Imagine how that thing called monday bholo threatened Peter Obi . On what levels? Someone that couldn't pass ordinary Adult Education WAEC
Well, welcome to Nigeria. An absurd country!!!
ADC should take these threats from APC seriously.
Infact, One overboard on ADC should equal 100 overboard on APC.
There is a way it can be done despite APC controlling the Police, Army, Airforce and other armed forces. Trust me on this.
These opposition leaders should know by now that they are dealing with an extremely dangerous president who wouldn't mind going the extra mile to remain president despite his OBVIOUS USELESSNESS.
I really pity Northerners should Tinubu win second tenure. It is extremely dangerous for them.
This is a man who has been dealing with the underworld all his life! Extremely wicked, evil and manipulative.
Look at the way he goes around manipulating governors to join APC. To guarantee them second tenure. We know he is the one doing all that.
Opposition leaders, wake up! Wake up!! Wake up!!!
Start recruiting agents that would strongly man every polling station the whole North and South. Pay them enough money.
Don't allow them to announce any criminality at the polling booth. Don't listen to them about using the Nigerian courts. The Nigerian Judiciary is extremely compromised! They are of no use to the nation. Just look at Nigerian courts. The one called Wike literally has them in their pockets!!
I pity any investor that would put money in such a nation. Sorry is your name!! either u like it or not, tinubu will rule u till 2031 |
