MadPolitician: What is sacrosanct about breaking Nigeria? Was Nigeria created by God? Nigeria was created by one Lugard who sees himself as a "Lord". So why can't the nonsense be splashed on the floor and be shattered?
God created us Igbo Hausa and Yoruba. If he believed that Nigeria is essential for our survival, he would created Nigeria before igbos and Hausas or Efiks. Nothing special about a failed state
who stopped the idea of adding secession clause in d constitution?
Macphenson: Self determination is not a crime anywhere in the world. Self defense is also not a crime. NnamdinKanu telling Igbos to defend themselves against Fulani invasion is not a crime. T.Y. Danjuma also said it.
These people would have been happy to hear that Igbos are being slaughtered by Fulanis the way they are slaughtering Benue and Jos people.
The Federal Government couldnt prove its case beyond reasonable doubts.
Like the law states, He who asserts or accusses MUST prove. Indeed there is no case.
hope u know his videos on radio Biafra n also voice threats have been accepted by court as evidence?
Cos u people just want to talk without knowing what u are saying
They just want to frustrate him well before sentencing him
That's the strategy so next time any other person wants to tow that path they will think twice
Racoon: Everyone under the APC behaves as the gang of anti-social personality they are. How can a seating governor make that kind of reckless and treasonable statement? This APC is a plague that must be kicked out.
what do u have to say about this video made by el rufai as regards what obi did to him as governor of anambara state?
...that same propaganda Video that failed to achieve its aim of division & hat;:"red..failed woefully when it was released..& resurrecting the lies will fail woefully once again..
..since the Coalition..wicked people has been forced to go search for lies & more propaganda as they were told by Alade..to release more propaganda & use more lies to sell Tilumbu renewed hope;:less;:"ness..
. You are shedding only crocodile tears..
watch the video n see for yourself, this is not your village setting where u lie to yourselves
I purposefully brought the video so u can see it's pure karma dealing with obi
slimfit1: Buhari won't be dead and Obasanjo won't know the day Obasanjo opens his mouth is the day I know what the truth is, apart from that it's all fake news. Osinbajo won't be taking orders from a foreigner, so let us use our senses please. Don't let someone that was cargo alive back to Nigeria deceive you. He wasn't as smart as I thought to be captured in Kenya because of money or woman. Exposed your people with useless mouth. Back to the story that guy can riot in that place for all I care.
don't mind those ignoramus, it's obvious they don't even understand governance n how it works.
Atiku n other opposition's met Buhari prior to 2019 election n kanu alleged that Buhari died in 2017.
So Atiku will spend over 150 billion naira to contest against a body double when he can simply blow d cover.
N besides there are many spies in government, so none of them would have blown the cover?
Don't mind those people
They believe kanu when he said Buhari died in 2017 but if u tell them same kanu said obi is agege now they will go mute
VladimirTheGrea: Edo governor is a rascal. If not for the failed justice system and INEC which is obviously due for unboundling and overhaul, where would this guy who can't win a council be pairing and threatening an ex governor from?
Ofunaofu: The Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, has described as a death threat, Governor Monday Okpebholo’s warning to 2027 presidential aspirant, Peter Obi not to enter Edo State.
The Governor had issued what could pass as a threat to Obi, warning him against entering the state without prior notification and approval from him.
Governor Okpebholo’s warning marks the second time Obi has been cautioned by an All Progressives Congress, APC-led state, including those reportedly for humanitarian purposes.
The first was from Benue State governor, Hyacinth Alia.
According to Okpebholo, Peter Obi can enter the state at the risk of his own life, adding “If anything happens to him here, he will have himself to blame. I’m not joking.”
He further claimed that the last time the 2027 presidential aspirant visited the state and made a donation of N15 million to a nursing school in the state there was unrest in Benin City, the state capital leading to the death of some people.
CUPP, in a statement signed by Chief Peter Ameh, its National Publicity Secretary, said the Governor’s comment clearly shows he is not inclined with the provision of the Nigerian Constitution which guarantees freedom of movement for citizens.
“Okpebholo’s recorded remarks, warning Obi not to ‘dare’ enter Edo State without his permission and stating that his security ‘is not guaranteed,’ constitute a veiled death threat against a law-abiding citizen exercising his constitutional rights,” the statement said.
CUPP called on other political leaders, civil society organizations and activists to speak up against what it describes as an unacceptable display of thuggery.
It added, “His only offense is traveling across the country to support hospitals, schools, nurses, and IDPs at their points of need. Should a governor fear acts of charity?
“Governor Monday Okpebholo’s threat against Peter Obi is a disgraceful act that strikes at the heart of Nigeria’s democracy. It is a direct assault on the constitutional rights to freedom of movement, expression, and association, and it reflects a dangerous arrogance that has no place in governance.
“This incident must serve as a wake-up call for Nigerians to defend their constitutional protections and demand accountability from those in power.
“The rule of law must prevail, and no individual, no matter their position, should be allowed to trample on the rights of citizens. Edo State and Nigeria deserve better than this shameful display of leadership.”
Buccalcavity2: Obi (Presidential Candidate) +Any candidate will give BAT an easy win. Any northerner (PC) + Obi will attempt to stress BAT but its a gamble that the core Nothern establishment will not take as the opportunity cost is huge. Leading candidates going solo will give BAT an easy win. Whichever way, coalition is screwed. Coalition People will choose BTW retirement and supporting BAT. Kperogi's write-up comes to mind.
Either way they go be it fronting atiku or obi, they will lose.
givedemwotowoto: People reading your comments will be struggling to understand what point you’re trying to make here.
So Igbos should leave OBJ, Yar’adua and GEJ, the better candidates presented by the PDP, and voted for Buhari? For what purpose, to please who?
So Igbos should leave Peter Obi, the best candidate presented in the 2023 election, and voted Tinubu, for what purpose? To please who?
Make this your argument make sense na
oga calm down.
U know what u are doing but I am wiser than u, we are talking about who ibos voted n when u realize u have been defeated in your arguement u want to deflect it.
It's two things on ground, let's finish one before we move to the other one
Alliance Competence
U haven't agreed ibos voted PDP only but u quickly want to switch to competence, let's finish one before we move to the other....don't run from arguement or deflect cos u have been defeated.
U started with alliance that ibos voted every body, I told u Ibos only voted PDP n not any tribe.
Coly2012: don't say what you don't no, it's better to keep silent than opening your wide mouth to say something because you had somebody else saying it, how did obi stopped labour party from campaigning, and obi only stop El rufai from moving around in the state on election day, not campaign. Sometimes it's better to focus on issues not individual. I beg rest, even if all what you said happened does it makes it right for us as a nation to continue is that part? Let's be reasonable and progressive minded as a people, even if the governor is right on what he is saying is that the best place and manner he should pass the info to obi?.
which manner would he have said it?
If obi can stop el rufai from moving around in d state while he was governor then this governor can stop obi too.
This is not about any reasonable or progressive but karma at work, think twice before u do shit to others
givedemwotowoto: So you’re just going to jump past that the fact that these Presidents that Igbos overwhelmingly supported turned out to be the best Presidents Nigeria produced?
And when you people finally elected Buhari, he turned out to fail as President?
wait first
We ain't talking about performance yet but alliance.
Name just 1 president out of PDP that ibos voted since 99?
givedemwotowoto: A core Tinubu supporter wrote this to gaslight you and get you to be on the defensive. He wants to paint the SE as tribalistic in their 2023 voting, don’t fall for it. The same SE voted OBJ, Yar’adua, GEJ and Atiku, but they will continue to try to gaslight you to even you up with themselves. Tinubu supporters always accuse people of what they’re doing so they can shift attention from themselves.
Their goal is to label everyone as being tribalistic so that people can say “if they’re all the same, let the incumbent continue”. These people are very terrified of Peter Obi’s rising profile. They have realized that Tinubu has no path to 2027 so they have become emergency neutral Nigerians or emergency Atiku or even Obi supporters
of all the people u mentioned that ibos supported
Just mentioned one that is not a PDP candidate?
Ibos only voted PDP n not anyone else
Obj PDP Yaradua PDP Gej PDP Atiku PDP
Oya name one presidential candidate aside PDP that ibos supported since 1999?
kettykin: If every other Governor comes up with this policy against opposition Governors in APC and their officials, that's when you will realize how wrong it is
did u say this thing when wike stopped Atiku from campaigning in Rivers state in d last election?
Did u say this same thing when obi as governor of anambara stop labour party from campaigning as governor?
Did u also say this when obi stopped el rufai from campaigning as governor in anambara?
harqinhola: While I agree with some of your assertions, I hold a slightly different perspective. In my view, the only ticket that stands a real chance of unseating Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu or at the very least, giving him a serious run for his money is a Peter Obi/El-Rufai presidential ticket, with Atiku Abubakar backing them as a political godfather.
Here’s the breakdown: • Peter Obi brings massive influence and loyalty from the South East and parts of the South-South. His support base, especially among the youth and urban voters, remains strong. • El-Rufai has deep reach within the northern elite and youth demographics. Despite controversies, he’s still respected among core Northern political and religious establishments. • Atiku Abubakar, though aging politically, still commands loyalty at the grassroots level in the North, particularly in Adamawa, parts of the North East, and North Central. His endorsement would consolidate traditional northern voting blocs.
This combination would split Tinubu’s chances significantly: • He would struggle in the North, which he relied on heavily in 2023. • He would lose the South East outright, given Obi’s dominance. • In the South West, while Tinubu might still win, the influence of both Obi and Atiku would eat into his margin, particularly in Lagos, Ondo, and parts of Ekiti and Osun.
Now, here’s the joker card:
If Kwankwaso were to join APC as Tinubu’s running mate, that changes everything. Kwankwaso holds Kano firmly and has influence across Northern Nigeria, especially among talakawa (common people). With him as VP, APC would secure a massive chunk of the North both elite and grassroots votes. That alliance would likely render any opposition ticket powerless, especially if the opposition is fragmented or lacks nationwide grassroots coordination.
Conclusion:
Obi/El-Rufai backed by Atiku is the only possible anti-Tinubu coalition with the national appeal, demographic balance, and political clout to challenge the current status quo. But if Kwankwaso crosses over to Tinubu’s side, it might just be game over.
Nonexisting1: Just to correct a notion. PO doesn't have SE on lockdown as you claim. Bring out a competent candidate from any region and you will understand what I mean. People like Yemi Osinbajo, Akinwunmi Adesina, Donald Duke and numerous others will give PO a run for his money even in his Anambra state.
same yemi osinbajo u people call fake pastor n mere commissioner
U people only wanted him cos he was a weak candidate m very easy to defeat for u.
gbaskiboy: This is what Igbo people will call Anya Ufu. Nigeria people are against themselves if other countries can accommodate Nigerians in their own land why can't we replicate that in our own country. United we stand and divided we fall.
Ya ga zie ..
hope u remember that anambara people killed ebonyi people for having meetings in anambara state?
If u people can't tolerate yourselves I don't think it's a big deal if others can't tolerate u
