AMINDA: He may decamp because that would be the only way to save his skin but he has lost his leverage. He's now at the mercy of Tinubu. Akpabio is now his leader in the Southsouth followed by Oshiomhole. He has to know his place in the pecking order. u don't know anything about politics for real, hope u know there are still people in PDP? Wike can't decamp now cos if he does, aggrieved ADC members can still come to PDP but the thing is that they already have LP n abure in their pocket n PDP is also in their pocket so meaning there's no where for ADC aggrieved members to run to It's a win for wike n Tinubu |

AMINDA: PDP is now a carcass. Wike is the biggest loser in all of these because he's now without a platform and will be too ashamed to decamp to APC.
In their desperation to run unopposed, APC destroyed all opposition parties thereby making sure that Obi could no longer run as a third force nor Atiku under the platform of PDP. This has turned out to be a strategic mistake. They never saw the coalition coming. Notwithstanding, Seyi Makinde must contest under the PDP in 2027. see this one Wike is the biggest winner here, he vowed to deal with Atiku n finish PDP n he made it real, wike doesn't need to cross to APC. The only work given to wike by APC is to make sure they all cross to APC n frustrate PDP so pdp won't b able to have a presidential aspirant. Once PDP can't have a presidential aspirant it will b easy for APC to give adc the biggest trouble Imagine how hard it will b if APC is fighting more than one opposition, but now all of them have moved to ADC n it will b easy to destroy them |

FreeSpirited: Abure only needs money and recognition The mistake Obi made then was to not understand the true intent and ambition of the people he was working with. Someone like Abure is the easiest to win over, a Tinubu would have won him over quite easily immediately he came to the party with money, land, house, juicy offers etc since he was still a struggling politicians. Sometimes u buy your way and place in a party. That's what Obi should have done and could have done it secretly like a pact between them. He could even identify few people who could give him future trouble or power tussle and settle them in meantime and also promise them juicy offers if their plans work. . Now he may have to go do that same thing if he will have any chance of working with Abure... And that's if Abure is not completely compromised by Wike and Tinubu... Cos the man is desperately greedy to make it and belong. with the few things u know about abure and wike, do u think they can allow abure to go just like that? Right now wike n tinubu are d ones controling LP, the greatest mistake obi will make is to try to go back to LP for anything |

FreeSpirited: Peter Obi Must Avoid Atiku’s ADC Coalition Trap
The recent ADC coalition involving Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar has sparked debate about its potential to unseat President Tinubu. While some see it as a necessary alliance, I’m skeptical. Obi’s mass movement of aggrieved Nigerians, evident in the 2023 election, is a powerful force, yet political pundits claim it’s not enough without a coalition. I disagree.
Atiku’s history suggests he won’t offer Obi a fair shot at the primary. The coalition feels like a calculated move to leverage Obi’s popularity while sidelining him at the last minute. His allies, driven by entrenched interests, may orchestrate a betrayal, as seen in past primaries. And the recent threat from ADC spokesperson saying If Obi leaves his political career might come to an end is enough evidence to expose their background plottings.
Obi must act fast. He escaped a similar trap in 2023 by joining the Labour Party, which remains his best path to the presidency. He should consolidate his base through grassroots mobilization and resolve internal party disputes. His media team must amplify narratives of unfair treatment in ADC to rally public sympathy, as this could boost his candidacy. The Labour Party, not the ADC, is Obi’s strongest vehicle. He must avoid Atiku’s trap and act now to secure his place in 2027. so u think the same abure u see with wike will allow obi do anything in LP? Politically obi is stranded now |

Yemimovich: He goofed too many times on politics. When the court upheld the the swearing in of the yes/no local government chairmen he met after his victory to become a governor, he wasn't satisfied. He wasn't patient to let them complete their tenure, then he went ahead to conduct his own election, and his party swept all local government seats. The incumbent ones went to court again, and the court still validated their election to complete their tenure, but the governor still wouldn't agree. Along the line, theocal government allocations have increased by far, and these yes/no chairmen are eyeing the money to get good pay, but it led to chaos that even caused deaths, closure of local govt secretariats. Right now, the federal govt has frozen their allocation for about 3 to 5 months now if I'm not mistaken. That's huge. He played into the big politicians' hands. He has submitted to their will. He will join the ruling party, and the cry of 15 minutes if you ask me is part of the game. They just taught him politics too. Dino broke his own neck, same as Fayose. Twas all charade. So, Adeleke, welcome to Naija politics. It's not your mate. Aside that, the greatest mistake he made was to believe Atiku will win the 2023 election. He frustrated the APC that he arrested virtually all APC big wigs, as if that wasn't enough he changed their campaign n convention venue at will n in the cause of them moving around they had a fatal accident where 18 people died. Last last he worked for Atiku n atiku won osun state, now Tinubu is president n he knows it is APC that will coordinate his 2026 election so he knows they will pay him back in his own coin that's y he's jittery. Tinubu have forgiven him but APC members in osun state are ready to eat him raw, u can see what omisore n co said. They will finish him |

Heffalump: 2027 should be the turn of the Igbos. I'm not selfish by this reasoning. In a balanced political scenario, the SE deserves the presidency in 2027. Tinubu robbed his way into office in 2023. May he never succeed again. The only albatross here is Atiku, who's equally greedy as Tinubu. Both old men have nothing tangible in exchange for power. Obi should run on his ticket if the North refused to make a gentleman agreement. And in that case. Tinubu will continue till 2031. Let's fool ourselves together. Period. who made it the turn of the south east? When did Nigeria turn to turn by turn enterprises? If u can't defeat people then u ain't fit to contest |

gidgiddy: I used to think that in 2027, Tinubu, Atiku and Obi would all run again to see who would be the ultimate choice. However, it doesn't seem it will be that easy. Unfortunately, Nigeria is not yet at the point of conducting credible elections, and only a formidable coalition can prevent the ruling party from hijacking the electoral process
Ultimately, for the coalition to survive, either Obi or Atiku, must step down and back the other. There's no point Obi and Atiku running individually only for APC to be the beneficiary.
Some time next year, Obi and Atiku must gauge the political temperature and decide who between them has the best chance of beating APC. The one with the least chance should step down and back the other
APC will be gone the reality is that Atiku can never deputize obi again n Nigerians will never vote another Fulani after Buhari just left. It's all win for Tinubu |
