If someone is in finance, they could even get a job few days after landing if they have the right experience from the right firms. but for other folks... Hmm i have seen too many Engineers finish from Access Employment and stay unemployed without any relevant canadian experience sha. for other professions it maybe great. You can even tell by scouting through linkedin profiles, you would see "Access Employment Connections Program - Jan 2018", then profile summary "Currently seeking opportunities in..." and no further relevant work experience would suceed it. My advise would be seek Canadian experience or canadian credentials that are worth their salt, there are co-op programs/internship(unpaid) programs in Toronto that are tailored to help you get canadian experience and maybe a permanent paid job in the end. While they are no guarantees, they seem to have a high success rate rather than a few lucky stories on a website. So @fadeyemi you may want to add this to the options you should explore. best of luck.

Thanks soo much for this info. I am an mid level hr professional but i am looking for programs or internship in hr to help integrate in the Canadian work life. If you have more info on this pls assist. I am open to any location now.

Just a brief highlight:

POF - Gift Deed (64%), while a fixed deposit account was opened with the entire POF. I got a reference letter from GTBank (thanks to my account officer whom I have never met, I simply sent a mail to her requesting the letter in IRCC format) and then added it to the fixed deposit certificate, as well as evidence of gift transfer, and a reference letter and statement from my PFA.

ECA - I made a mistake earlier which turned out to be in my favour, did my ECA with WES in October 2017 and friends advised it should have been with PEBC, but coming here I learnt if my NOC wasn't 3131 then I'm good to go with WES. My advise to pharmacists with only BPharm degree, please use PEBC (irrespective of your NOC) to gain points for professional degree.

IELTS - As per IELTS, I didn't find it easy at all. Listening humbled me big time but in all I give thanks to God and my lovely wife for her unflinching encouragement, her question after every attempt was "so babe when are you registering again?" smiley, giving up was never part of our options. My attempts below;

Aug. 2017 - 1st Attempt: L6.5, R6.0, W6.5, S7.5
Sep. 2017 - 2nd Attempt: L7.5, R7.5, W7.0, S7.5
Oct. 2017 - 3rd Attempt: L7.0, R7.0, W7.0, S7.5
Dec. 2017 - 4th Attempt: L7.0, R7.0, W7.0, S8.0
Jan. 2018 - 5th Attempt: L9.0, R7.0, W7.0, S8.0

Special salute to @GlitteringStar, @Newmum0615, @Ethelia, @mcstan18 and other e-folks here for the amazing and altruistic assistance you guys are rendering. It will surely end in praise for all!

pls how can i track application after submission?
