Goodmorning all i give Almighty God all the glory for granting me the Grace, Favour and Joy of Motherhood for the first time in my life all through my years on Earth, i saw my own two Red Lines...its a BIG FAT POSITIVE. Ph mamas, where can I buy duphaston ?
I went to see the doc with the scan and he gave me some drugs to see if the baby will revive.
He prescribed primolut injection, folic acid and duphaston. He said I will come for another scan on Friday, if no improvement, then he will proceed with evacuation.
Everything just tire me.

It's not over ma. God will see you through this phase and you will come out victorious.

I used to comment as rubyz but lost my phone so haven't been here for a while. It's a BFP o, after so many fearful doctors report, HSG, fibroids, adhesions; failed ovulation induction with tracking, so many medications God has liberated me from TTC of 3yrs.

When the Lord turned around the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

I sincerely cannot place my hands on anything special I did, wasn't taking folic acid. I didn't even follow my cycle, until I started feeling abdominal cramps.

I took dostinex for a month in July.

I and dh took antibiotics for yeast infections last month.

We shared books to children going back to school at the beginning of September.

3 days midnight prayers and generally I relaxed more. Went out, had fun with dh.

I was booked for a laparoscopy, was waiting for AF b4 I do it. After 2 days of not seeing AF I did the test yday and it's a BFP.

Mamas help me thank this God who showed up when I was weak, unexpectant and tired. Instead of laparoscopy, am going for antenatal and will bring forth safely by His grace. Praise God

Lord I pray for my TTC sisters, please show up on their behalf, bypass every protocol for their sake and fill their homes with joy. Flood this place with BFPs, I pray thee o Lord in Jesus name amen.

my period was to come 18th /20th bt it didt come, I tot its d hormonal imbalance ting bt ws instructed in church on Wednesday to test d next day in d morning, since I still ve a hpt strip I jst tested on Thursday lik a dream I got my BPT.
I try not to b too excited, I went for d blood test yesterday it came bck positive, did two hpt again still positive.

I have gotten my BFP, God is awesome. I confirmed it on Tuesday but waited before announcing because my DH wasn't around but he came back yesterday and we didn't sleep because of excitement and we stayed up to appreciate this wonderful gift God has bestowed upon us. Please my sabi mama's help me appreciate this God because he is too good to us.

A friend of mine that has been trying for second baby for 5yrs conceived recently(though she's always having miscarriage), and I went to her to show me the "way" and she took me to one ijaw woman at agege. Na so this woman press my tummy and shook inside inside my jajina and told my that there's water inside my womb and my womb is facing down hmmmmm. I asked her to just tell me my bill to clear the water and arrange my womb. She said I should go and bring 90k and that's the last she will collect,I was like waowww,I even beg her to collect 80k and she said no. Abeg I want to ask beautiful mamas, should I pay the 90k or I should add more money to it and go for iui. Though I already have a 6yrs old son. God bless you all for your response

90k?? Why don't you do a lab test to corroborate her claim, if it happens she's right you can then decide whether to go ahead with her treatment or not.

Hubby joined a colleague of his from work to town in his car yesterday, so hubby noticed the door had child lock and d guy is not yet married.
So hubby jokingly asked him y he puts child lock wen he is not married yet, the guy replied back saying "you wey don marry, wia is ur child? You don't have to take all insults to heart, just shrug it off and don't be bothered about what they say. The truth is many people will (intentionally or unintentionally) hurt you but don't let it get to you. Someone once told me jokingly that I did family planning when my mates are birthing beautiful kids, I just act like I didn't hear, I didn't let it get to me, I know that's their way of reminding God, and He shall visit us real soon.

The PID can affect the HSG result. Its entirely different. If you do vaginal swab test they will be able to tell you the exact infection you have and also drugs that you can use. I was prescribed ciprofloxacin tablet one tablet twice daily for a week and it worked like magic. Dh must use too . My small contribution.

Aww, thanks. I really do appreciate your contribution! I've heard about how effective ciproflaxcin is, will do the test tomorrow.

My ears has heard plenty from friends, I learnt to keep to myself, my roommates in the uni.are all bless with children, one of them gave birth in America and I went to congratulate her on her arrival in Nigeria, she brush my greetings aside and told me to my face, what experience do I have in child bearing, I should allow those that knows to carry her baby, so many side talks and insult, this is my very close friend oo, I don't let it bother me, my Bible tells me that am a fruitful vine, I learnt to move on and keep such friend away from my life, I don't need additional sorrows in my life. I pray the good Lord remember us all.

Roseey0 made a very valid point there. Doctors usually recommend Endo cervical swab. My doctor rejected my hvs and still made me do ECS.

normal gravid? Or non-gravid? I guess a typo. Please do an endocervical swab mcs and be sure of the exact drugs with high sensitivity to tackle the pid. Dont just treat with d baseline drugs. Do treat alongside ur dh.

hold off the hsg to avoid spreading infection to the deeper areas.
pls I beg u. Dont rush. Treat properly n retest to b sure its cleared b4 hsg

All are for infection.
I recommend ECS because I once went for HVS and got a clean bill, but was still having symptoms of infection so I went to another lab and requested for ECS .staph was seen.
I don't know if d disparity is as aresult of incompetence of the first lab or the efficiency of the different swabs.
HVS is High vagina
ECS is from the neck of the cervix.

So you can do both or choose one

I heard the lab is a good one and since the lab suggested HVS and urine MCS , maybe I should just try it out first. Thanks ma

yes we abstained ,when we couldn't anymore, we used condom .this is to avoid reinfection.
I used to have chronic lower abdominal pain ,but after the treatment, I haven't felt it again.please don't pray to feel anything, just start treatment asap.I wish I found out on time,I wouldn't have gone through all that pain.

Chlamydia infection is the biggest culprit when pelvic inflammatory infection is involved. It is very very silent in women . Many times no symptoms .It is Sexual transmitted. As such ur hubby is infected or he infected u . That is y doctors preach abstainance during the treatment. I suggest u dont treat this on ur own . Pls work with a doctor . The fluid in d pouch of douglas tells a story of infection . I wont even suggest d endocervical swab . Anything can push d infection further on . Pls go and see a doc . He/she will counsel u better

ur doing a HSG now will worsen d situation . Reason ,the HSG procedure will push the infection further down n cause more damage. Pls take care of d infection first
Docs normally prescribe a 2 weeks course if treatment for both u n ur hubby

When i did my treatment
It was ciproflaxcin , dixocycline flagyl for 2 weeks twice daily
Some use the rocephin n azthromycin combination
but ensure u go thru d treatment diligently with ur spouse.Better still, See a gynea . PID is d leading cause of blockages in the fallopian tubes n hence infertility and ectopic pregnancy
pls take it seriously

Hi,please I will advise you treat the pid first before hsg.this was what my doctor told me.
I treated mine with cefuroxime Axetil tablets 500mg for 10 days plus injection. I can't remember the name .please remember Dh should be treated as well.All the best.

Thanks. Were you and your DH told to abstain from sex during treatment? How did you know you cleared... I asked this because right now I'm not feeling any signs of infection

Do Endocervical swab
It will show the specific infection involved and the drugs it's resistant to.
If the lab is good , once you take the most efficient drug the infection will clear
Then u can go for HSG

@Faheemaz please see your doctor. I think you need HVS, higher vaginal swap will be recommended so that they can know the drug sensitivity. please put HSG on hold and treat this PID.

I treated PID with kedi products..quite pricey though.. I can't remember which of their products my husband and I combined but it worked... Hope dis helps.

On to more serious issues.
I spotted on Thursday morning.
I am supposed to be 6weeks pregnant today, so I went for ultrasound to confirm everything is ok.

However, the scan detected that the cyst the lab guy saw the last time has grown from 27cm it was d last time to 34cm. It really means the lab guy eas right he saw a cyst the last time.Evidence of gestation was not seen.

I went to see my sister( a medical doc) with the result. She ran pregnancy test on me by herself and confirmed I am still pregnant. She said it is likely clomid that caused the cyst and DT I shouldn't worry, that it will rupture and go on its own as the pregnancy progresses. She I should do another ultrasound after two week cos clomid normally extends ppls ovulation day and if that is the case, I won't be 6 weeks and that no gestational sac or embroyo is seen if the pregnancy is not up to 6 weeks.

Na so we waka today.
