Well, a piece of advice to my sisters here: TTC can make you lose direction..it can kill the star in you..but that's only if you allow it. Do your best to remain focused on what you want to become. Ignore the world around you! TTC pulled me back but it didn't take long for me to resist the drawback. I'm not rich nor am I famous. I've not travelled the world..left my country just once before. But! Every mother will wish to have a daughter like me..you know those things you achieve that makes people say 'wao..at this young age!' yeah..that has been said about me several times. Truth is I've struggled in life..almost all my life..yet I've often achieved milestones before my mates do. I win scholarships, titles, name it.. Whenever I aim for them..Dear sisters, I have aimed for kids and lost over 15 pregnancies..that's if I counted well and I even got other health conditions in my pursuit... Is it that I didn't aim well like I did for other things? Nay. Every great man has an obstacle. Believe me, YOU ARE ALL DESTINED TO BE GREAT. This is our trial period. We shall overcome.
If you doubt me, how do you explain the fact that even Almighty IVF is not the way to go for me despite my unexplained infertility? Just last month I ran new tests..big names o..of about 350k yet all was fine. I can't even jump up at a BFP because I've seen many disappear later and even prayed for negative result at some point just to save me from dying. Don't doubt.. Believe.. YOU ARE DESTINED TO BE GREAT! This too shall pass.
Apologies for the long post. I just can't imagine TTC overwhelming any sister here who is likely to become Nigeria first female president. Something just told me that someone here needs this encouragement this day so I decided to do my bit.

It's raining seriously, it will surely get to everyone. Only time will tell.

WIDD(what I did differently)
Took prenatal(5mg folic acid through out the cycle, 50mg×2 B6 after 0) I skipped some days o
Did Bitterleaf(Cd 1-10) in july_ I don't know if it contributed to this, but I had all the preg symptoms, AF even delayed but came eventually after some humpy humpy with DH.

I suspected my problems could be more of implantation so I decided to play down on kpekusing after O and be more diligent with B6.

This cycle
I took Chinese tea_Xi xian cao and Yi mu Cao Cd1-10 2× daily
Cd 6 inserted CleanPoint tampon
Removed @ Cd 9 in preparation to BD
My fertile periods are CD10-14 as per 24days cycle.
Eventually beded on CD12 _ Doggy emphasised this time around.
Waited for my period
Stopped B6 to know if it's the cause
Still no show
And finally...
Big Fat Positive....

Affliction shall not rise a second time
This one will sure End in praise.

@All, it's my birthday, and I got the best birthday gift ever, it's a bfp, I saw two pink lines. I'm so happy n anxious as well as I have got serious back ache l. I pray this bfp goes around n I pray for a healthy n happy nine months n beyond for us all.

I'm 100% introvet my normal thing is from work to house or church for weekly activities and lock myself inside watching films or surfing the Internet sometimes or study my bible. I don't interact with neighbours( don't like people coming to my apartment ). I don't go to party except if it's church thing that I need to officiate from there house. I unwind only by going to olomo rock( a place in abeokuta here)for someone that is familiar with Abeokuta. Now the issue it I need to settle down.Please how can a lady like me get a suitable guy now that have been out school. Can anyone help me in the house with this isssue

I'm a little shocked you're still single...introverted ladies tends to get more admirers cause most responsible guys look out for ladies with calm and reserved attitude.

Anyways, you need to be more flexible in your dealings,. Put up a smile and walk up that handsome dude for direction even though you know the exact location you're headed Go out to places like cinema house, beach, stadium and catch some fun, dress (modestly, not revealing)to be noticed.

Lastly, if all of these didn't catch you your prince charming then you can try the online dating,.and if you eventually meet someone you feel connected to pleaseeee take your time to study the person before saying 'I DO'.

A big yes. If its me, I will wait it out and see. Esp if its the first time of AF going missing. I would so relax and pamper myself...infact, I won't even do anything hard so I don't dislodge the foetus if any.

2years is way too long. One year is enough to start seeing a gynae. As for me, one thing I know to induce AF is intimacy. BD like 3 times in a day, if you are not preggy, AF will show. I wish you a BFP!

Though, we've actually gone herbal during the one year wait but no result yet.

Is there a possibility of being pregnant and getting a BFN?

May your stay here be short and fruitful.
To your question, i think it's not too early to start fertility testing, being that you have tried on your own for more than 1 year. Infact una really try o. Me, after 5 months, I started testing o.
Drs say you can visit a gyne after you have tried for 1 year on your own. I don't know why your Dr is insisting on you waiting for 2 whole years to know the cause/s of the delay
Also, I don't think you need to do anything to the af for now. My opinion? Watch it. Don't try to induce af. Give it another 2weeks to show on its own. Then, run another hpt or bpt.
If it's still bfn (we hope for bfp sha), then you can meet your Dr, for af to be induced. Then start running these tests -: a cd3 and cd21 hormone profile, TVS/ follicullar tracking (at the period you think you would normally ovulate), and a hsg. Then, try and convince dh to run a SFA. These will give you a rough idea on what you are battling with. And how to tackle them.

The gynea we met gave us a stat of 80%-20%. That 80% of newly married get pregnant immediately after sex while the remaining 20% get pregnant within 2yrs. I can't even wait any longer, DH and I have already planned to start medical test this month.

Thanks ma, I would have to wait for a week to conduct another BPT (Hopefully it turns out positive) before visiting a doctor.

please try and do a blood test to be very sure . if its still negative then we know we just have to wait on AF or drag her come outside

I'm even suspecting the lab attendant that coducted the BPT she made a silly mistake by piercing the wrong side to draw out blood. I later got to know she was just an accountant for the lab...maybe she didn't do it well. (Those are the assumptions we make while TTC, we just want it positive) thanks
