To confirm, dial *326# and follow the prompts to open an Xpress Account and transact on it. The Xpress Account is a digital account that u can open just from ur phone. Ur phone number becomes ur account number, without the first zero, e.g 803XXXXXXX.

It can be funded from other accounts as well as carry out transactions from it (e.g transfers, pay bills, buy airtime, etc) using USSD or Ecobank's Mobile App.

If you have any issue with Ecobank (or any other bank for that matter), it's in your best interest u reach the bank on any of the aforementioned customer service points (Branch, Social Media handles, Call Centre-07005000000, Livechat on Mobile App and Web) for amicable resolution. That would be a better alternative than giving the bank (or any other bank) a bad name.

Don't know what made u reach this conclusion about Ecobank. Please do accept my apologies.

I have a current and savings account with them. Besides been my most favorite bank, I've found them to be quite ethical and considerate in their dealings with customers, charges inclusive.

Rather than painting a wrong picture of the bank, why not visit any of their branches, social media handles, LiveChat on their Mobile App and website or Call centre (0705000000) to have ur issues resolved.

I don't know what must have led to this conclusion, but I've found Ecobank to be one of the most responsible, transparent and customer-centric banks. Whatever be ur displeasure, I'm very sure u will get appropriate redress if u channel ur queries to the right channel, e.g their call centre, LiveChat on their website or the customer service in any of their branches

Truth is Ecobank pays one of the highest interest rates on savings accounts, if not the highest. As a matter of fact, of all my Savings account, I get the highest interest rates on my Ecobank savings account.

I'm sorry @FBenedict07 for d pains d Debit irreversal may have caused u. It's most likely not Ecobank's fault. It could b dt either an Interswitch report, NIBSS or some other bank's report (if d transaction was done on dr channel) is affecting settlement and subsequent reversal. As a Customer of the bank, my reversals are effected mostly automatically by System default. Worse case, it occurs in less than 24 hours during settlement.

Yes, Ecobank had issues during dr System Upgrade last November, but their systems r very much stable now. If still in doubt, u could check it out now via any of dr digital channels (Ecobank Mobile, Ecobank Online, ATMs, Xpress Point, etc).

This bank offers the worst in terms of services delivery in Nigeria. Their Network is always flunctuating. Online services very poor. I was debited #6,350 since 1st of December, 2018 and they are yet to reverse it after I've complained over 5times. Closing both my savings and current account immediately after they reverse the money debited.
