Imagine, I got one on my dm promising heaven on earth asking for 55k to get me an appointment, and he's super desperate. He's probably reading my text right now. Be careful guys. I'm looking for a genuine agent who can show proof to deliver. chemashie: My visa category differs from a student visa, although it also requires a Type D national visa. I am a beneficiary of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (see link: https://nawa.gov.pl/en/scientists/the-ulam-programme) for established researchers to conduct research in Poland. I submitted a detailed email to the embassy, and included my offer letter, monthly stipend details, and full credentials. My host at the University of Warsaw also contacted the embassy with my details too. I guess that was why I received the phone call and my appointment was scheduled. If your case is the same, you may consider doing that. Please avoid some un.fortunate sc.ammers in this thread that are asking for money to be added to a paid WhatsApp group or to book an appointment for you. Many of them are impersonating Freedomtours and sending unsolicited messages. Just ignore them. |

Yes, but I've been checking and I've not been able to get a visa appointment. What can I do? I resume in feb. Also, how much in euroes do you think is good enough for proof of funds, assuming your school fees per semester is 1200 for 3 semester Msc? freedomtours: Getting Visa appointment for any category of visa is high now, yes people being denied, and many are also getting visa approval, that's if you put up a good visa application and addressing what the Visa officer needs and some times it goes beyond the requirement you see on their website. with me my little experience, their requirements sometimes are generic, that's if you provide the right documents, you don't need to submit too much documents to get visa, mostly in the area of your sponsor financial capacity, if you have someone in Poland, sometimes they go as far as calling those your sponsor, relation in in Poland in other to verified and they do this to all the applicants, i can attest to this because i have experienced it with some of those that got visa and they confirmed to me that their sponsors and the rest was contacted. Another thing is you study the pass questions to score high during your interview question, this is very important, even wrong flight itinerary can cause your visa denied, they are little things but matters so much. |

Hi, what alternativemeans are there to secure an appointment? Also, this idea of demonstrating strong ties to Nigeria. Can one achieve this with good travel history to Eu countries and for e.g living in France and returning? freedomtours: You can hardly get visa appointment from there, look for other alternative means of getting visa appointment. |

okuta007: I will tell you why Nigerians are getting deported
The average Nigerian thinks he or she is smarter and superior to anyone he or she meets in their own country and they look for ways to break the laws so they can support the bambiallah beggars their friends and relatives have turned themselves into - The average Nigerian back home is a beggar regardless of their economic status - even when they are doing well more than their so called relatives abroad, they still beg out of greed and lust to take what they never earned! The main issue is most nigerians believe traveling abroad means u will become a millionaire overnight, so far u are abroad, within months ur life have set, and this is a BIG lie, when traveling abroad, definitely, ur quality of life becomes better because Nigeria as a country is not working; poor road, no electricity, inflation, no jobs etc, so u most likely go to a better place with a working economy, but dont expect to make it overnight if not u end up becoming criminals...people migrate to various places for various reasons. I have seen many UK citizens migrating to South Cyprus, in droves, to them cyprus life is better, better weather, less crime, peace, not so congested like UK. So fellow nigerians too should stop carrying wrong mentality, u travelling out, dont expect to become one overnight millionaire, but if u work hard, u will have ur breakthrough and definitely live a better life. |

ghettonews: She is telling u the truth. It doesn't use to be this way before. But now they have shifted it to 31st January 2022, if u don't enter before that date, then u won't work. Have u paid sch fees? Also if u think u can be able to endure all this then u can come to cyprus I haven't paid my school fees, I haven't even gotten admission yet although I have applied. I'm awaiting admission. But then does that mean there's no single option to earn something while studying? I mean for ends meet. From my online research, you will stay for 3-6months till ur residence permit or pink slip is printed. Then sch provides work letter which you could use to get jobs. |

ghettonews: Of course the certificate is under bologna process and we'll recognized. ok, thanks. Neapolis Student Advisor is telling me here that with student visa u can't work in cyprus, except u av been to cyprus before May 2021, anyone coming after time won't be able to work. She even buttress this with this link http://www.mlsi.gov.cy/mlsi/dl/dl.nsf/page5h_en/page5h_en?OpenDocumenttoThough to me, I blame misinterpretation here. |

ghettonews: I travelled to cyprus to study and work but just to be disappointed, ever since I came into this island there haven't been any joy, all they care about are asylum seekers, my school is still telling is that we are not eligible to work which they claimed the order is coming from labour department. Now no employers will employ without work contract from LD. I am actually leaving this country for Switzerland next year. I will advise you use that money and look for a better country to migrate to study where u can find job. Again if u think u are too rich then u can coming here stay 6 months and apply to other countries. That's my advice for u. Don't come hear and cry. I will keep on telling people the truth But can one apply for a job in another European country from Cyprus, using Crypriot Master Degree? |
