Make a case for why you need the money as a student. It's that simple. You should understand that merely offering a desperate plea in three or four lines will not be sufficient. As a student, I expect that you should be clear, concise, and detailed in your response. After all, you are educated or are in the process of being more educated. The quality of your pitch may matter. But my focus is more on how convincing you are.
